What does Elam and a pick get you in this market?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why would you want Teller? We have two cheap good guards now. Now the Browns are interesting because Denzel Ward just suffered his 6th yes 6th concussion and at least 2nd this season. Elam straight up for ZaDarius Smith would be a nice trade. Smith is on a one year deal and $9M of the $11M was already paid in signing bonus. He has 5 sacks and is a good player though he is 32. -
Diontae Johnson to the Ravens (now claimed by Houston)
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yup and those 5 TD passes the prior game didn't happen...what does Lamar have to do? -
In other news, OJ traded to San Francisco

Diggs hurt (Torn ACL - out for the season)

Yup. Same fans were happy to see first ballot HOF Jason Peters get traded too for asking for appropriate compensation which the Eagles gave him. -
Diggs hurt (Torn ACL - out for the season)
Ethan in Cleveland replied to fasteddie's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is such nonsense. Kelly trashed Buffalo before ge got here. Bruce Smith left for Virginia ten minutes after the season was over every year. Diggs was a great player for this organization and never once said anything negative about the city or the fans. Why just fans tear down players that leave? -

Seems like a terrible trade. -

Odd. Does he play corner? -
Make room for a trade? Or did he do something bad?

Bills running back receiving game this year
Ethan in Cleveland replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
On a non sarcastic note. Running backs like Thurman, LaDainian, Faulk, and Edgerin I thought were always special. They could do so much damage to a defense in so many ways. No LB or even a safety could cover them and no team would commit a CB to cover them. Nearly unstoppable if used correctly. -

With these numbers you could definitely get a 2nd round pick for Cook...even though he can't catch, break tackles, or run up the middle.... -
Should Bills place Samuel on IR?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to TFBillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree with this. Even if he needs surgery get it done now. He's more of an insurance policy at this point shoudl someone else get hurt. On another note. NFL should institute retroactive IR. This would give teams a week or two to figure out if they need to go on IR for the full four weeks. Now if he needs IR it will ne 6 weeks of no games played. -

Was Cooper hurt or something today?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Actually he did look a little slow off the LOS on a couple plays. Dont know how much of that is by design for certain route combos or if he is still getting use to Josh cadence and tempo. -
Who has been the best Bills player not named Josh Allen?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Taron Johnson is an All-Pro nickel. Even though he missed some games he's the best player outside of Allen. Benford and Bernard are on the next level. Both are playing at ProBowl level. And now for the controversy...I think Spencer Brown is the Bills best OL. I had hopes for Torrence but he started really badly. By years end he may be the best O-linemen still. -
He has excellent vision which is such an underrated trait. Thurman, Shady, and Cribbs were the absolute best. I never saw OJ live so I can't comment on him or Coookie. Spiller was the absolute worst. He had speed and power but was just the absolute worst at reading blocks.

44% completion percentage is terrible but I read he had two dropped TD passes as well

Week 8 (2024) - Around the NFL
Ethan in Cleveland replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I cant recall the last time a QB could not even get one first down in four tries against a defense protecting a lead late in the game. That was horrible. 4 straight incompletions. -

Ethan in Cleveland replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
He hurt his left shoulder but he was in after that. He was in a fourth quarter 4 WR set that I think Seahawks jumped offside and they did not run the play. Don't think he was on the field after that. -
Week 8, Bills v. Seahawks, GAME BALLS!
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well done! Sorry I was slow to respond Offense: Cook, Shakir Defense: Douglas, Johnson Other: Bills fans showing up in PNW!!!! -
Weird when he said on the 8 yard line, I thought for a moment I had misremembered the play all these years. But it was from the three....

When he was talking about how he had morphed into the constant presence that was cool. Plus the 1, 2, back to 1 read description was cool
