OP nicely written. Let's also not forget he has not missed many games so he has played many more games/snaps than others in the last 5 years. Also some of the worst INT guys suck and simply don't play that long and get benched. I'm too tired to look it up but Josh has fumbled the ball a ton as well. Again he has more dropbacks and carries than probably any other QB during that time. But still numerically he is turning the ball over quite a bit. He cleaned up the fumbling quite a bit but it still has hurt him from time to time like Minn last year, Dolphins playoff game, and Jets this year.

We have more than one player. The oline is better. We need upgrade at WR an the defense got old fast. Should be set at CB. Just need another pass rusher and a couple safeties. Safeties are cheap. They can replace one or both this off season. We are stuck with McD for 2024. Best hope is Allen Diggs and Brady overcome his defense

He was calling such a good game in the first half. Rushing 3 orc4 dropping everyone else. His one blitz in the first half created the fumble. Perhaps he still called a good game. I really don't know. That first TD drive by Philadelphia started with a huge run where both linebackers looked like they were out of position. I still believe McD needs to go for multiple reasons. Yes the players need to do better. But this many 4th quarter collapses is inexcusable.

I said before the season started I thought it was great Frazier was gone for one simple reason. McDermott has no more excuses. It's now obvious the prior failures had nothing to do with Frazier. Frazier got scapegoated by this loser coach who talks about accountability but has none for himself. I wish Frazier would spill the truth on 13 seconds.

OP you are partially correct. McD called a good game in the first half. He even called a good D on the prayer that Hurts threw up and was caught for a TD. McD can't be faulted for Hyde and Poer not making the play. However the pattern is there and has been there for years. Even when healthy this defense got beat by the best QBs. Mcd pads his stats against garbage QBs and fails in the critical moments.

Sad it took so long for so many of you to see McDermott was the problem. A vocal minority of us on this board have been trashed for seeing earlier what you all only now see.

OP you just don't get it. It's not just one game. It's a pattern of losing from a HC that is wasting the best QB in franchise history.

Another stupid decision by McD. Yes he dropped an easy one. So did Diggs Cook then caught a really difficult one later in the game for a big gain. McDermott is a loser and coaches stupid.

Starting? Some of us have been calling him a fraud for a while now. His defenses pad stats against terrible QBs and he chokes against any of the good ones.

In the following order Jim Harbaugh (white retread I know). But do you really think a Harbaugh coached team would have twelve men on the field for a game winning FG attempt? Harbaugh gets them to the SuperBowl year 1 or 2. He has won everywhere he goes. If he wears out his welcome in 3 years after a SB win, I don't care. Lincoln Riley Brian Johnson if you want to go defense(keep Brady as OC), then go get Dan Lanning in Oregon. He led Georgia defense for three years and now is doing a great job at Oregon.

Has there ever been a HC fired during the season when the team was 6-6? Honest question. I wanted McD gone two years ago. I've been posting and getting flamed for years that he is a fraud. But I doubt any HC has even been fired during the season when they are at 0.500.

Because he was proven right. Dorsey was an idiot and McD is a joke. Allen and Diggs are the only stars on the offense. Beane did a decent job with the OL.
