Bills at Chargers Pregame Thread

Ok. I'm on call mad getting killed at work. Don't have time to look this up so asking help. If i have Sunday Ticket on YouTube will I see the game or do I need to get some Peacock app???? -
These teams still need to have a full roster of players. They can't just dump salary. Also there are only a handful of games left. The vast majority of a NFL player salary is paid in roster bonus or sign on bonus. Little is paid in game checks. I have no idea why the Chargers just cut their DT. But it will not trigger some sort of mass cutting of players.

I was at the Peterman game. Horrible Most memorable of course would be Ferguson's ankle in 1980 playoff game(played Jan 1981). If he isn't hurt Bills probably win the 1980 SuperBowl. Bills had a championship level defense and Joe Cribbs. Ferguson was never really any good but he had a late career renaissance in 1980 with the new weapons. He had a career high completion percentage of 57% and 20 TD against 18 INT. He was good enough in 1980 to win but playing on one leg not good enough in the playoffs. He threw 3 INT in playoff game while Fouts threw for 300 yards and the go ahead TD.

First string ProBowl is not a joke. Being named an alternate and then making the ProBowl because 5 other guys declined is a joke. Dustin Hopkins may be All-Pro K this year. He is on his fourth team after the BIlls gave up on him. He was OK with Washington but now is having his best year of his career at age 33.

James Cook named AFC Offensive Player of the Week
Ethan in Cleveland replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Really excellent at avoiding them!!! -
Buffalo wings are amazing! But hear me out.... Thai or vietnamese Fish sauce wings are out of this world good. A completely different flavor profile obviously. But if you have never tried them please do. You will be blown away by the sweet and tangy taste!

Dawkins is playing at a really high level. The best he has sincecthec2021 playoff run. I posted this during the game but it's time to give Brown some props. The TD catch by Cook was a very good play by Brown. He was beat inside early by Parson but he didn't lose contact with him, didn't hold him and rode him inside allowing Josh to step out of the pocket. Yes it was technically a QB pressure but it was still a great solo play against an elite pass rusher.

Steelers Damontae Kazee Suspended Rest of Season
Ethan in Cleveland replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good. Its the only way to stop these hits. Guys need to be ejected and suspended. -
You underestimate the positive impact it is just to get to practice interviewing. It can be very helpful especially for say a young QB coach. Plus how do we know Brady doesn't bolt for a HC job in college. It never hurts to get a chance to present yourself. Plus these GMs all know each other. If a guy interviews really well they might let their colleagues know. Also what if someone under Beane or McDermott gets a GM or HC job somewhere else they may remember a guy that interviewed well. You may think it is a sham but it's any opportunity to impress someone.

Josh is already better than Kelly and it's not even close anymore. Bruce, OJ, and Allen are the three most physically gifted players in franchise history. Put them in any order you want but they are my top 3 now. Thomas, Kelly, and Diggs are probably next three. Reed, DeLamielleure, Gilchrist, and Shaw round out my top 10 Honorable mention to Jason Peters who will be first ballot HOF player

McDermott’s Defense against #1 Offense? Discuss
Ethan in Cleveland replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD and the defense were phenomenal. If I'm going to bash him repeatedly I,have to acknowledge when he was lights out. Called a near perfect game in all facets. Doesn't take away the fact his defense choked away last drive losses multiple times this season. If they don't make the playoffs it is squarely on McDermott for hiring Dorsey and for his defense folding against the Pats, Broncos, and Eagles(twice). -
Don't look now...Von looked somewhat Von like...

Odd I thought Miller played much better last week and he seemed to regress this week. Hopefully Epenesa is healthy soon. I actually threw up in my mouth typing that. But if he is healthy then Miller gets fewer reps but maybe they can be more impactful as the season wears on.
