  1. Brown so far is at best an average RT. He still has much to prove to get a second deal. Injuries have held him back no doubt. He has gotten better. But if he had a 10 and that is supposed to mean something, how does he last until the fourth round and still struggle moving his feet in pass protection? Oliver is a good to very good DT with zero pro bowls and no where near a top 10 draft pick talent. He is not really elite at anything - size, speed, or strength, and has been injured a fair amount. He makes a handful of plays and can dominate at times. He lacks consistency and again has no physical trait that is elite. Knox is the most physically gifted TE the Bills have ever had but that is a bit back-handed as the Bills have had the worst collective history of TEs in the league. Not a single ProBowl player since the merger. He is one of my favorite players, but either due to injury or lack of consistency he wasn't even good enough to keep Beane from drafting a TE to replace him.
  2. Outside of Allen I can't make a good argument for another player that is supremely physically gifted on this roster. Beane and McD have built a roster of scheme specific role players with very few that can win individual match-ups. Even worse with the exception of Kincaid and Cook most of the next tier guys are on defense - Oliver, Rousseau, Johnson, Douglas, and the corpses of Milano and Miller. In almost every case save Herbert in LA, the other top tier QBs have at least one and sometimes more than one top end talent. As always our only hope is Allen, but he is going to need Brady to scheme some easier throws and build a consistent ground game outside of Allen scrambling.
  3. Good story. Hopefully he only sees the field during 4th quarter blowouts
  4. Lol what does that mean? Thank you for a job or thabks for the opportunity after getting cut???
  5. Is Hardy hurt or did he get cut?
  6. Correct if you don't count IR for Hodgins
  7. The only way you keep 4 TEs is to get rid of Gilliam and play one of the TEs as a FB. MVS will make plays for this team and is far more important even as WR5 than Morris or Davidson will ever be. Davidson vs Morris makes little difference. If I had to choose between the two, I'd probably go with Morris. Has Davidson done anything in the games? Seems like he is a standout in shorts but disappears when the pads go on.
  8. Petrified of the status quo...most definitely! Nothing worse in life than doing something just because you always have done it that way
  9. Hmmm, I don't know. My guess is the board is 50/50 on this. Almost no one wants Trubisky anymore, but many don't want to part with any draft picks. I'd make this trade or perhaps give up a 6th and get a back a 7th.
  10. Hard to tell. Looks dirty like helmet to knee but then it also looks like he hit him in the thigh... What is stupid is playing your starters in the preseason. Please go ahead and try to convince me that Seattle player needed that rep. If these coaches had their way they would still be doing two a day full contact practices with no water. They are so slow to evolve.
  11. Both things can be true. He's better than Jackson. He's qthe second best QB in the NFL and at times he easily plays as the best QB in NFL. In my mind there is no question. I don't care about MVPs. Unlike others I think Lamar is a good QB. You just listed a bunch of playoff and HOF QBs and Allen's INT% is higher than all but Favre. I guess we can go down the semantics road and argue what is overblown. We can also bring up the fact before Bass missed the kick against the Bengals Allen fumbled on that drive and Morse(I think) had to recover it. Does anyone really think Allen doesn't need to get better protecting the football? He's already at worst a top 3 QB, but 3 less turnovers a year will make him even better. Oh and he still needs to get better on deep ball, not that we have a WR that can get open deep this year...lol
  12. 59 career fumbles as well which is 6 more than Lamar It's not a perception. He turns the ball over too much. It's ok to realize Allen is the best QB in franchise history and still state that he has to get better in certain aspects of his game.
  13. Top 100 - Allen, Taron Johnson, and Cook Bills have a bunch of guys that are just below that level and a few that are ascending - Oliver, Rousseau, Dawkins, Douglas, Kincaid, and Torrence. Miller and Milano can be if they bounce back from injury Shakir if used correctly looks like he could catch 100 balls and could crack the top 100 next year
  14. Lol...I probably should concentrate at work more and not be posting ...
  15. Whichever QB Cleveland utsxwoukd be an instant upgrade over Trubisky
  16. Haven't they done this the last two years?
  17. Since 2005 West coast teams playing in EST win rate is 43%.
  18. If a tree falls in the forest does it make a sound? If Gilliam is cut would it make any difference?
  19. I honestly can't remember. I usually buy it early but I can't remember if I already did. I will have to check. Like others it's not a great deal. 6 national TV games, probably another 1 or 2 that will be broadcast nationally, and I will go to 2-3. Maybe if I haven't purchased yet I may talk myself out of it....
  20. Josh needs to really start well and not turn the ball over. This should be a lay up win at home with a west coast team coming to play an early EST game. If this is even close the Bills are really worse than we thought. McD silences the critics for at least one week... Bills 42- Cards 17
  21. This or Huntley. Trade a 6th and get back either QB and a 7th.
  22. Anyone please defend why they needed this game… About all they learned was a bubble backup LB is not good enough for the 53. Other than that nothing to be gained Cut the preseason to one game and play an 18 game season
