  1. I took my two boys to see opener in Chicago. Bills win in OT with a nasty Fred Jackson stiff arm. Worst - there are so many. In person though were two games. The Raiders loss with Orion at QB. First time in Oakland collosium. What a terrible place to watch a football game. Second worst was the Chargers Peterman game. Flew down to see that with the family and left at halftime
  2. Probably B. Prices was too steep to move up and at 8 they can get a WR, Pitts, Surtain, or one of the two top tackles. Even better if one of the QB's does fall they can trade back to 15 if New England wants to jump ahead of Denver for a QB. Maybe they trick Denver into giving up a third round pick to move from 9 to 8 just to ensure they get a QB.
  3. I said before the draft I wanted no part of Darnold. Go back and watch the USC tape. He is fine with a clean pocket. He is awful with any kind of pressure.
  4. The offense doesn't need to get better. The defense needs to get better.
  5. I disagree. They need TE #2 more than they need another WR
  6. Yup then get young on the DL in the draft.
  7. Would love this draft. Then add a TE and a C/OT in the next two rounds.
  8. Did everyone forget how to do math? You can still judge players on performance per game. Simpson had 143.1 yards/game. Dickerson was only 131.6. The first guy to break 2K in 17 games would have to rush for 2433 yards to break Simpson's per game accomplishment. That is not going to happen. Injuries and blowouts have as much to do with season long performance as the actual number of games played. It was floated as an idea to get the NFLPA to buy into a 17th game. Obviously it is impossible to implement. They should have gotten rid of all the pre-season games. 2020 showed they were pointless and only expose players to injury risk.
  9. Also appears some of us know what we are talking about
  10. DE, DT, TE,CB in any order
  11. Just copy and paste Lucas Oil stadium in downtown Buffalo.
  12. Mac Jones to Jets or New England would be fine. He will be a bust.
  13. Did it? WFT has a great defense. Fitz and Samuel upgrade their offense. They played Tampa tough. Probably the best outcome of the remaining first place teams to play.
  14. Competition for Adams for the last OL spot on the roster. I think they carry 8 OL on the 53. Dawkins Ford Morse Feliciano Williams Bates Boettger Adams/Draft pick/Hart
  15. BPA is not a thing. Never has been. Teams draft for need by taking who they have highest on their board at a position of need. Name one pick that McD or Beane has made in the first four rounds that was not a need? White - they just let Gilmore walk. Edmunds and Allen - everyone knew they wanted to draft a QB and they let P. Brown walk. Knox - pretty sure at the time he was drafted only 1 other TE was on the roster. They had so few prospects at TE they drafted two in the same draft. Oliver - Kyle had just retired. Moss - Gore was not brought back. Maybe Singletary was not a true need at the time of the draft but it became obvious the plan was to cut McCoy making the pick of Singletary a need so they coudl move on from McCoy.
  16. Or if 7 of the 10 are still there they can still trade back
  17. Except that is not accurate. They moved up from 22 to 12 by giving up Cordy Glenn as well. So the Bills gave up their starting LT and the picks you outlined.
  18. Bills are not treading water on the o-line. The projected starting 5 did not play a single snap together last year due to injury. Getting Ford and Feliciano on the filed a the same time will help the run and pass game. Star is coming back and Murphy is gone. Those are two positives. They will add pass rushing talent in the draft. If not then every fan has a right to criticize Beane. Epenesa got better as the season went on. Clowney is still out there as well.
  19. I think they trade down and stack some picks in rounds two through four by moving some late round picks. OP is correct. The roster is stacked at this point. Unless they take a project QB or a Long Snapper to compete for very specific roles, there are very few holes for guys to fill. I'd be happy if they only drafted 5 guys and moved some of the picks for next year too. Just come away with the NT of the future, an edge rusher, a TE, a MLB, and a true center.
  20. Top LT in the draft and probably a top 6 pick opted out. GM's won't pass up talent. Guys that have opted out of Bowl Games don't seem to be affected in the draft. No doubt if a player missed the 2020 season, they will need to do additional homework on them but I don't think it will affect their evaluation.
  21. I searched and did not see any other threads. Has anybody watched or listened to him? He is providing great commentary and many self-reflective moments. Not sure if he has enough overall NFL knowledge to keep it up week after week, but he is doing very well. 9 years sober. Good to see. Hope he gets a chance to keep providing content through the rest of this off-season and into next year.
  22. Third month of my internship. I was doing Hem/Onc. I worked 30 of 31 days. My one day off I drove from Columbus Ohio to Orchard Park and back in the same day to see a Bills game. I don’t recall the exact game right now.
  23. I think you stay rookie status until Chandler#81 disagrees with one of your relevant points
  24. It's the same as Time value of money concept A second round pick now is more valuable than a pick in the future. You get the player now and they start helping your organization now. Same way as $5 today is more valuable than $5 next year.
