  1. Oliver is due for a breakout game. 2 sacks and a forced fumble
  2. Edmunds 48th with a 56.9 grade.
  3. She cried all the time because she was married to Jerry Glanville
  4. With Brady gone none of them really mean more than any other game. For the record I want to get rid of the division format anyways. I would much rather play 16 (now 17) different opponents each week and thus having a matchup with every team no less than every two years.
  5. White with standing Buffalo is my favorite. Though I would love to see the red helmet with the royal blue jersey from 1987 used as a throwback about once every three years. .
  6. What call did they miss? It was a clean hit.
  7. Knox has a good chance to be #2 on this list in two years. More athletic than all of them.
  8. Like Don Draper said in Mad Men "I don't think about you at all".
  9. No one has ever said Vick belongs in the HOF
  10. It was Mackey or Ditka for 11th but I can see him in a lot of top 10 lists Good posts so far
  11. After only two games, the performances we are seeing by tight ends is absolutory incredible I am just amazed at what Gronk can still do. And of course now Kelce seems to be in another stratosphere. Who are you top 5 TE of all time? Here is a good site for stats. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask?q=most+yards+by+a+tight+end+all-time I'm still going with Tony Gonzalez as #1. You can make a strong case for Gronk though. Gonzalez has played twice as many games as Gronk, yet Gronk only trails Gonzalez by 21 TDs while having a higher yards/game and yards/catch than Gonzalez. . Some of the stats are really interesting. Kelce is #1 in yards/game and by a wide margin. I'm trying to avoid a bias to this eras players but the numbers are staggering. I'm also trying to take blocking into account in my rankings. If Kelce continues at this pace, he will move into the top 5 if he is not already there. My Top 5 1. Gonzalez 2. Gronk 3. Gates 4. Newsome 5. Winslow 6. Kelce 7. Sharpe 8. Witten 9. Mackey 10. Casper Ditka is just outside the top 10 What do you all think?
  12. I am very confident Josh will be fine. He has the tools to be great and he has always been my number one choice from that draft class. But for all of those posters that think just because he was great last year it is a certainty he will be great again, go check out Derek Anderson's career after his 2007 one year wonder with Cleveland.
  13. Week 1: Rams over Bears Week 2: Packers over Lions Some interesting choices. I like Arizona (though always worry about west coast teams playing early east coast games), Buffalo, Baltimore, Cleveland and Denver. Week 3 pick: Denver wins at home against the Jets
  14. Is it possible to criticize a players performance and not jump off the bandwagon? I don't understand why pointing out Allen or any player/coach has performed poorly is some knock on our fan loyalty. It's just the truth. Do you think completing 17 or 33 passes is a good game? I actually didn't think the INT was a terrible throw. It was not great but it was also a great play by a top 3 DB. However the deep ball to Diggs was a terrible throw that Diggs bailed him out. In week one he misses Sanders by five yards and in week two he underthrew the ball to Diggs by five yards at least. He has to play better. I want a SB win. Nothing else matters at this point. And if they are to win the SB Allen has got to be as he was in 2020. That is not jumping off some proverbial bandwagon. Its an observation and an opinion that does not in any way diminish my loyalty to a team I follow from 2800 miles away.
  15. No big deal. I was hoping he would be a developmental Center to push Morse/Feliciano but he didn't do much in pre-season.
  16. "Can you imagine a post so silly" Peyton Hillis said to Derek Anderson It's a different era. The QB needs to consistently perform at a very high level to win most games in modern NFL. Allen will play better. All the toosl are there. He just needs to settle down. He has to if the goal is the SuperBowl.
  17. 100% agree. My point was total yards is not a good measure of a defense. Points, takeaways, sacks are all more important measures of success. 2017 they were bottom 10. Since then the team is right around 10th best annually. A solid improvement from year 1 of McD and further evidence there is no conspiracy against certain teams.
  18. Just watched Aaron Donald vs Colts breakdown by Brian Baldinger. The Rams intercepted a shovel pass!!!! I've never seen that in football at any level.
  19. As one of the vocal posters, even I wouldn't go so far as to compare Edmunds to Kelsay. As much as I gave him crap for last year his second half of 2019 was excellent football. Maybe that is why it stings so much. He could be our Ray Lewis but he is just not there. Not giving up hope just anayzinf what I see on the field each week.
  20. I actually don't think so. I think most of us would know that the risk of leaving it up to your defense is greater than giving the ball to Allen with 1 yard to gain. If they din;t make it they would blame the O-line not the call
  21. Agreed. Good post. Rookies still hit a wall and playing Addison and Hughes on lowrr snap counts will keep them fresher as the season wears on.
  22. There is not a poster on this board that thinks he deserved to make the ProBowl last year. Like I posted before the season started I'm evaluating him with a clean slate. Its highly unlikely they move on from him. Let's be honest the opportunity cost of replacing him is far too great when they have bigger issues to address next offseason on the OL and defensive backfield. I would like nothing more than for Edmunds to be a dominant MLB for another 5-8 years. I hope he earns an extension.
  23. I know but I still think offset language applies. Meaning if he is guaranteed for 12M and he is cut and signs for 8M somewhere else the Bills are only on the hook for the 4M difference.
