  1. Can we wait until he beats Mahommes at least once?
  2. Not what I said. If a miserable human being won a SB for Buffalo we wouldn't care. There are 53 players on the team and you can bet not all 53 are great guys.
  3. Lol. Thanx. I have just been posting my picks in the thread. I didn’t know there was a place to enter them
  4. Can someone remind me. Which team can't you pick more than once, the winning team or the losing team? Week 1: Rams over Bears Week 2: Packers over Lions Week 3: Denver over Jets Week 4: Hoping to avoid the jinx, but I'm taking Bills over Texans
  5. Aaron Rodgers has a SB win. He had a terrible HC. He is a no doubt HOF QB. Rodgers can do whatever he wants. I love Allen's attitude. That said, even if he was a complete jerk but delivered a SB no one would care.
  6. LOL. Good call. Of those I was only at the 88 Jets but there were a few other memorable games I was at. Bills - Denver for Biscuit's first game, Bills-Dolphins 1987 Marino's TD streak is broken, Bills - Raiders Jan 1994 Coldest Bills game in history. And Seattle San Francisco NFC Championship Richard Sherman batted ball leads to INT
  7. One game at a time... Three weeks in my top 4 teams are Buffalo, Cleveland, LA Rams, and Dallas. KC, Baltimore, Green Bay, Arizona are all in the conversation as well.
  8. I was there with my brother. I was 18 he was 15. We both were pulled out of the crowd before the game started by two Sports Illustrated photographers. We held their cameras for them during the game and they gave us press passes for the entire game. I think it was Leonard Smith that was ejected during the game. He walked right by me as he entered the tunnel. After the game was won we were both on the field for the goal posts coming down. My brother is in the Buffalo News photo for certain, and there is a slight chance my white hat is in the photo as well. After the game we sat in on the press conferences and shook the hands of all the players as they exited the locker room. One of the great sports viewing moments of my life.
  9. Really good point. Is there a consensus #1 QB out there? I am not aware of one. If not a trade down might not be feasible and they stand pat and take the kid from Oregon
  10. Edmunds low number of passes defensed does fit the above narrative that his coverage dissuades throws in his direction. Simply less opportunities to make a play because the QB chooses to throw it elsewhere. Will continue to look for that during the games.
  11. I'm not qualified to judge how good or bad PFF is. But as others said you can't have it both ways. You can't say Milano is playing great and ranked #2 and say PFF sucks because they rate Edmunds poorly. Here are a couple of other arguments that don't make sense. The defense is playing great so Edmunds must be as well or at worst his poor play doesn't matter. This makes zero sense. He is great in pass protection because of his range. Really? Where is the stats or video evidence to back up this claim. He has 1 pass defense this year and had 3 total in 2020 after having 21 his first two years. I will concede some of these recent low stats may be QB choice not to challenge there. I think he gets great deep drops and it is fairly rare opposing QBs hit a deep crossing route between him and the safeties. He seems to excel here. But I dont see great anticipation or adjustments to guys crossing in front of him.
  12. 100% agree. Dawkins is not elite but he is solid. Both guards are average to poor. Brown is a good long term investment and a cheap one for the future. That future is more than a year away if all goes to plan in 2021 and 2022.
  13. Appreciate the work by the OP. But PFF just downgraded Edmunds even further. I think last week he was 58th and now ranked 69th out of 83 linebackers. They still have Milano #2 overall and #1 LB in pass coverage. The PFF ranking fits what we see. Edmunds is one of the worst starting linebackers in the league.
  14. I would have rather have had JK Dobbins in the second round and then go DL in the 3rd round. Moss looks faster than he did last year. He is a tough runner. I know it is RB by committee in 2021 and has been for a while, but how I miss the great dual threat RB's. Thurman, Tomlinson, Faulk, hell even Edgerrin James was a great dual threat guy. Just watched 1991 MVP season for Thurman on YouTube. He could do everything. A RB like these guys and a capable TE in Knox and this offense is unstoppable.
  15. Bills have two very good tackles. Brown is not starting anytime soon. Dawkins is under contract until 2024 and is only 26. William signed a 3 year deal with an out clause after 2022. He is still only 29. If all goes well Brown remains a swing OT and places in 2023. He's too tall to play center. I just don't see him making the field barring an injury or one of the tackles regressing.
  16. Stopped watching 20 years ago. Aint got no time for that Sometime I would listen to Mike and Mike on the radio driving to work but that's it Greenburg used to bug the hell out of me. But I thought he did a good job handling draft day duties. Was pleasantly surprised.
  17. KC started Browns Ravens Chargers - that is about as tough a start as anyone has had. All legit playoff contenders
  18. He has been since game 1. He is playing the role of the Lee Smith blocking TE.
  19. He struggled on the first few series but was solid thereafter. Maybe I missed a play or two later in the game but he seemed to hold his own.
  20. Only the third game they have played together and they appear to be getting better each week. Williams was outstanding against Young. But I don't want to shortchange Dawkins either. They did not show many replays yesterday, but I don't recall Dawkins getting beat all game.
  21. Agreed. I was a holdout with Montana as the GOAT QB up until jsut a few years ago. And Rice is my greatest player of all time even over Brady
  22. Two of those sub .500 teams are the Chiefs and Colts both of which will be very difficult games. Titans and Chiefs still the two toughest opponents on the schedule regardless of record.
