  1. Huh? This makes no sense. The Bills did exactly what you say others teams would do and screw up their QB. Allen took over for Peterman in the first game of his rookie season. And then he started week 2. He was the starter until he injured his elbow. Then they fired his first OC at the end of the season.
  2. I thought it was just famous people... Anyways its been a a bad month for NFL HOF deaths. Two HOF players passed away recently as well, Claude Humphrey( age 77) and Curley Culp (age 75). Also of course Bucs WR Vincent Jackson dying at a young age.
  3. Betty White passed away
  4. The only irreplaceable person in the whole franchise is Allen. There are only a very small number of coaches that make the players better. Usually its the other way around. Look at all the coordinator failures that have left New England, Pittsburgh (Arians the notable exception), Denver and Seattle of late. All were terrible head coaches that got a job because or Brady, Roethlisberger, Manning and Wilson.
  5. Honest question. What do you base that on? Was his Carolina defense more aggressive? Wasn't the Carolina front four much better than our current front four.
  6. Morse lowered his salary last year and though only average is still at worst the third best guy one the line - and that assumes Brown continues to develop. I wanted a C/G last year in the draft instead of Basham. I would spend money in FA on a really solid guard. Put him between Dawkins and Morse and the left side is set. Boettger will be cut or injury settlement. No way he plays next year with an Achilles tear in December. Keep Ford because he is cheap and has played a little better as of late. First round take OT unless there is a major run on them. If there is then go WR,RB, or TE.
  7. Yeah I think that is a fair argument. Moorman's net yardage was amazing and if I recall was over 40 and that had not been done before. Schobel is #1 on my list of most underrated Bills of all time and I believe should be next guy on the Wall of Fame (Phil Hanson is and was not the player Schobel was) Cold. Covid. People expect a win. Build a dome and December games will be sold out
  8. Aaron Schobel was the more valuable player and they were together for 8 or 9 years. 78 career sacks is second all time in Bills history
  9. Start Bates. Get up by three touchdowns and the rotate Ford into LG for a few snaps
  10. This is a good post. My son likes the Seahawks and we watch alot of their games. Wilson is still good and his oline is not that good, but he misses a lot of passes. He just doesn't make as many improvisational plays as he did in the past.
  11. Wow what a terrible list. Only Devin Hester, Reggie Wayne and maybe Andre Johnson are worthy. Holt has good numbers but Wayne and Johnson were more talented. For the record I don’t think Tasker should be in the HOF but this class is so weak maybe he will make it. One of my long time snubs, Tom Flores made it finally last year. Now I really want to see Don Coryell inducted.
  12. Dress warm, forget Duffs and go to Charlie the Butcher's for Beef on Weck. You can get wings anywhere, you can only get good beef on weck in Buffalo
  13. And people that watch the games know we don't have a #1 defense. I agree the team is better than 9-6 and they can win the SB if Allen plays nearly flawlessly. There is still virtually no pass rush, White is out for the year, and the quality of QB play in the playoffs will be far greater than what the Bills have faced in the regular season.
  14. Hope he is able to play in the playoffs. There is a massive drop off from Star/Phillips to Butler/PS guy #51. They will need an extra DT if they play Colts or Browns in the playoffs.
  15. Would not be the first time a celebrity gets different treatment than the rest of us
  16. True but they also have a bunch of proven veteran talent in Diggs, Morse, Williams, Beasley, Dawkins, Sanders. Its simply not true to say they have not invested in the offense. They have just in different ways and of course Diggs was acquired with a first round pick. They drafted two RBs in back to back years and also drafted Davis Ford, and Knox in the first three rounds.
  17. CDC shortened it if you are asymptomatic. NFL will likely follow
  18. Its the NFL and they would be a potential playoff opponent
  19. Good post. Agree completely. You can make any argument for any WC team to have a decent shot at winning the first round.
  20. Refs missed PI too
  21. Horrible challenge. That was a clean catch and pretty obvious too.
  22. Miami is crazy to stick with Tua. I wouldn't give up all the draft capital they have for Watson, but if Wilson or Rodgers is available I would make a trade. QB draft class doesn't look that great.
  23. Can't believe I'm watching this. But its too dam cold to go in my workshop
