Does anybody want to tell me again how good Flores is?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD went 6-10 in year 2. Unless Flores has lost the locker room he will be back. -
Only two competitive games right now

Who is this the toughest matchup - Browns, Ravens, or Chargers? I like Jackson more than most on this board but I still worry most about Herbert and the skill players that team has on offense. Browns D-line could be difficult to handle too.

Rank The Buffalo Bills Starting QB’s Since Jim Kelly
Ethan in Cleveland replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
Allen TT Bledsoe Fitz The rest are all collectively garbage including fan favorite Flutie -
Fermentz made terrible choices down the stretch. Down 17 and 3rd and 2 in the red zone he runs it twice. Just throw it to the endzone on 3rd down. Its either a TD or a chip shot FG. The need three scores. Terrible coaching and he makes millions to make these dumb moves.

Agree but Ertz as a compliment to Knox would have been very difficult to defend. I would have rather had Ertz than Gilliam or Kumerow
-
Pretty sure Pettine's defense was the worst defense in franchise history in defending the run

Why do you have to do two picks?

Week 1: Rams over Bears Week 2: Packers over Lions Week 3: Denver over Jets Week 4: Bills over Texans Week 5 : Dallas over the Giants Week 6: Steelers over Seattle - Was leaning Tampa but Seattle travelling West to East (even playing at night) with Geno and a terrible defense. I think Steelers win at home and then the wheels fall off. After Seattle they may be only favored in two of the remaining 11 games (Detroit and Chicago) and could easily lose the final 8 games

April 27th Bills trade away pick to KC that winds up being Mahommes. Whoever was making those moves has to own the good and the bad. It would be quite interesting to know the true details. Bills not only fired Whaley they fired almost the entire scouting staff as well.

You don't know that for sure. But let's say you are correct then you have to also saddle McD alone with passing on Mahommes

Do You Curse During and At Bills Games?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to WotAGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes but only after reading posts that state the officials want the Bills opponent to win and when Edmunds makes a tackle 12 yards downfield....lol Someone told me to F off in the thread last Sunday. But he is a ***** moron. I keep it clean at the game. My kids are usually with me and they learned to swear by age 2 but only at home. -
I think they are just waiting for right time to bring Stevenson off IR
-
I can't see them making many moves. Phillips for a 7th round pick - conditional 6th if he hits playing time I would still give a 4th for Ertz. Gilliam offers almost nothing in two TE sets. Maybe try to bring in another veteran corner

Will Beasley think he is getting booed when the crowd chants Grooooooot?

The Bills Offense Evolution is Paying Off In Spades
Ethan in Cleveland replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
The O-line is playing well. It all starts with that. The 3 WR 1 TE 1 RB set offers the most options for play calling and forces the defense to defend the entire field - vertically and horizontally. Knox is a weapon. Sanders is healthy where Brown was not. In the short term that has limited opportunities for Davis and at least in some games for Beasley. They also seem more committed to Moss and his bruising running style. -
He was acquired via trade Tasker is not on the list of many. Technically he was a waiver wire pickup and not a straight free agent signing

Good write up. Matches what I saw. Effective in coverage (more so in zone than when he was in man) - they have been playing man coverage more than I have seen this season than in past. Curious if others feel that way too. Mahomes rarely challenged the middle and its reasonable to assume that was because of Edmunds. Run defense instincts still seem very poor. Can't shed blockers well. Could be a problem against run heavy teams like Cleveland, Tenn, or Dallas. But as others have pointed out the run defense has not been gashed since the KC regular season game last year. For the record I'm not a Hater nor do I suspect most of the posters on here that offer reasonable criticism. Hope these past two games are the norm moving forward

Had Spielman not gotten injured he could have been higher up in the conversation My top 5 Paup Washington Lofton Spikes Hyde

Well first you need to have a successful play that nets more than 10 yards and the block would have to be at least ten yards downfield. Think how often that actually happens. Pretty rare. Most blocks are within a few feet or behind the LOS. And let's say you score a TD because of an illegal hold 20 yards from the LOS. The score is wiped out.
