  1. McD predetermines this stuff and it takes him forever to make a switch.
  2. Agreed. Modern NFL defense. Bend, hope they make a mistake (drop, penalty etc.), and stop them on 3rd down. Its not just McD and Frazier. Everyone is playing that way.
  3. Feliciano was great that drive. Moss hit the hole nicely. Good drive!
  4. While true, the only good play Epenesa made last week was against the run. I’m not convinced Murphy is any better against the run.
  5. Epenesa a healthy scratch again. Wow. Too soon to declare a bust but really disappointing for a guy who supposedly was a late first round talent.
  6. McD is in a no win situation. A loss to BB and a Patriot team devoid of talent will fall squarely on McD. A win is expected and will do little to squash the criticism that McD can't win the games against good/great teams.
  7. Remember a whole three weeks ago when this board wanted to cut Levi and Norman was going to be the savior....
  8. Smith would have been more valuable than anything Gilliam has produced. Smith is the most capable blocking TE on the roster. They can line up Knox or Kroft in the backfield if needed. That said, Moss can also line up at HB with Singletary too.
  9. I disagree with OP assessment that Hyde's play has declined significantly. I do agree with OP that in general teams have elected to move on from highly paid safeties and replacing them with young talent. That said they need to replace or extend multiple front 7 defenders and creating another hole on the defense makes little sense. I don't see that his play has dropped enough to warrant a change but at $6M a restructure or cut is not out of the realm of possibility.
  10. Defenders are in a really tough spot. But I see running backs and WRs get hammered as they are going down or already down all the time. And that is rarely called.
  11. That's exactly what I saw too. As others have said I'm in favor of more ejections to make the game safer. 15 yards is nothing compared to losing a player to injury for the game or for weeks. My concern is that the player that knocked out Andy Dalton in a worse looking hit wasn't ejected while this play which looked less egregious resulted in an ejection. Having differing standards of implementation makes it very difficult for players and fans.
  12. DE Harris ejection last night seemed inappropriate. First off if that is a RB I don't think they even throw a flag. Bridgewater was stumbling and it was a bang bang play. I'm fine with a flag as he did hit the head and neck area but it was not helmet to helmet. I'm shocked he was ejecred. I've seen far worse not turn into elections. I've been an advocate for a targeting rule like college but a call like this really gives me pause that the NFL could get it right.
  13. Sell out to stop the run and this should be a double digit win
  14. There is no franchise that has a worst differential than the Bills at TE. The TE position has never been great in Buffalo and the Bills have made even average TEs look like stars for decades no matter the coaching staff. It is rather incredible. Zero TE probowls in Bills history.
  15. Agreed. Im not really criticizing the concept. It can work. If they could draw one or two more holding penalties and get better at stopping third and long it will work. You can't drop 7 or 8 on every third and long. That tactic works a lot of the time but sending multiple rushers on third and long can work too. Unclear why but Taron has really regressed. They have a great corner and two solid safeties. Once Levi and Norman are both healthy they can cover most teams. Arizona, Pittsburgh, and Seattle will be a handful with multiple good to great recieving targets.
