  1. Not even close. Miami is a much better team than Jacksonville. There is no sugar coating the Bills loss. It is the worst loss of the NFL season so far.
  2. I was going to disagree but then I looked at Titans schedule. Its easier than the Bills. They have already beaten the Colts twice. You are probably correct, Bills probably can't do better than #2
  3. Joe Buck is the worst. He has a HOF QB as an analyst. Ask Aikman what he tells his players in the huddle about getting out of bounds? Or is that only covered in practice. Make it at least interesting.
  4. Hope Daboll is watching this game. Some nice play designs by the Dolphins
  5. That was a bad call. That was incidental contact and should have been no foul
  6. Textbook flag. That will in the instruction video next training camp
  7. Bills performance against Miami D is looking better and better
  8. How much would you sacrifice for a SB win now? Bills have the QB, they should be all in every year to win it and sacrifice the future to do it.
  9. No one on this board wants him missing time due to injury. Even those of us that have provided negative criticism realize he is better than Klein. The main question is more about whether he deserves a long term highly paid contract. The other question is whether or not there is a significant drop off in play when Klein is playing. Klein started really poorly last year but by season's end he was playing better then Edmunds did at any point last year. The sample size for this year for Klein is so small I can not even offer an opinion on his play.
  10. Agreed. The NFL let teams beat the crap out of him. Allen needs to look at what happened to Cam and learn to slide more, and only fight for an extra yard when it truly matters. No matter how big and strong Allen is there is always a bigger faster guy that can land a shot on his arm or shoulder
  11. I don't think they ever said he was vaccinated nor should they. No organization is disclosing vaccination status. However if they knew he was not vaccinated and they allowed him to not follow protocols, then the organization is complicit in putting the rest of the players and staff at risk. It more than masks. It's extra testing too. So he either lied to the organization or the organization was complicit in the lie. If he was doing the required testing then they presumably would not have been fined.
  12. What is really fascinating here is the HR implications. Does the NFL just take the word of the player that they were vaccinated? Or like any other business that mandates vaccines, do they have to show their card? If so did Rodgers submit a fake card? Did the Packers just simply look the other way for the star QB, and put the rest of the players in jeopardy? There is much more to this story.
  13. 100% agree. I think the D is at worst a top 10 unit. If Edmunds plays a good game and Oliver/Rousseau play well they can be elite on any given day. As many have said only a few teams can do what Tennessee did to them. Unfortunately many of those teams are in the AfC like Cleveland, Tennessee, Patriots, Baltimore, and Indianapolis. And I agree I worry much more about our o-line against even an average DL as opposed to our defensive front 7 being able to handle a big physical running game. If the o-line can't keep Allen clean we lose.
  14. Our D is not nearly as good as people want to believe. Still can't generate consistent pass rush and the have played patsies at the QB position
  15. I agree OJ is in that conversation. Bruce Smith's speed and size for the position and ability to play run and pass has rarely been seen.
  16. Bruce Smith is greatest Bill of all time and at a position of need. Thats the answer to the OP question. Thurman is my favorite player of all time. I doubt Daboll would know how to use him. Pass catching running backs can still be lethal even in today's NFL. He could transform this offense. Outside consideration for Jason Peters or Reuben Brown. Both were all time talents and would improve the O-line By all reports he was a horrible person even before the murders. He was a good TV personality and a horrible human being. He should be taken off the wall even before they move to a new stadium. That said his combo of size and speed has rarely been seen in the NFL. Only other guys that come to mind are Eric Dickerson and Derrick Henry.
  17. It's all funny until one of the players that actually has talent misses a game
  18. Exaclty. Quenton Nelson is on a HOF trajectory. Great players no matter the position help your team. Nothing wrong with getting a guard early.
  19. Good post. While I think a couple other teams would be favored to beat the Bills, I also believe the Bills have the talent to beat anyone. Home field advantage would help but that may not be a possibility now with three AFC losses. Allen can be the difference maker against any team - positively or negatively. If he plays smart clean football, Bills can beat anyone.
  20. Cmon man. Its not one game. The body of work suggests the oline and RB situation is a mess.
  21. I'm not saying we don't have a top 5 defense. The reality is no one really knows if the defense is good or not. Let's see how they look against New England Indy and Tampa that have at least competent offenses. Stopping KC does not look like much of a feat this year. Tenn rolled them with Henry and Brown. Big physical teams will give them trouble. They have the pieces to be a top 5 defense. I just need to see them do it against better competition.
