  1. Agree. Thanks for the memories. If Zimmer didn't get hurt he many not have dressed the rest of the year. They need to draft a true NT body in first three rounds next year
  2. Bills have the better QB. Pats have the better coach. We will learn a lot about this team and probably this entire organization on Monday. People think I'm ridiculous with my McDermott takes but McDermott needs to prove he can win these type of games. I was impressed and gave him his props for the Baltimore playoff win. That was his zone defense dropping 7 and rushing 4 that produced the second biggest play in franchise history. Hope he and Allen rise up to the challenge. What else do we want but our franchise QB in big games?
  3. Great analysis and I don't disagree with the comments.. Except the game comes down to only two people. Allen and McDermott. The rest is just window dressing. The NFL ceased being a team game long ago. Its a QB, a HC, and 52 support people. Believe in Allen! He's our only hope!!!
  4. You remember Tua got knocked out of the Bills Miami game right? Agree. And that is with Cleveland and Pittsburgh struggling. I had San Diego as a WC. I thought New England would go 9-7 and miss the playoffs. Also did not think Las Vegas would do that well. Bills will be haunted by that Jags loss when the season ends and they have to go on the road for the playoffs
  5. You asked my if I watch the Patriots. Did you watch Bills-Saints? Who won that game? Allen did. Allen is the key to everything just as Brady, Wilson, and Rodgers are.
  6. Because he can control everything and some college jobs are better than NFL jobs. He can have three good young QB's on his team at any time if he recruited well. There are many college jobs that are better than almost any NFL job. USC was one of them. LSU is another open job. Like I said almost zero chance it happens. But if the Bills miss out on the playoffs in a year they were supposed to contend for the SB and Allen is healthy, then his job should be in question. I'm the optimist. I see 5-1 down the stretch with the Bills playing their best football going into the playoffs.
  7. Of course I have. Bills have the better QB. Bills should win especially at home.
  8. On another note, Lincoln Riley is leaving Oklahoma for USC. He was my choice to replace McDermott. I think there is almost zero chance McDermott would be fired but if the Bills miss the playoffs, I hope he leaves for a college job.
  9. Tampa is the 1 loss. They should sweep the rest of the games.
  10. Agreed. Good coaches don't let that happen. It's time for McD to step up
  11. Like I posted elsewhere, the Bills should go 5-1 down the stretch. The schedule is a joke. If they can't beat Pats at home on national TV with Allen facing a rookie QB, then this team is seriously f....d.
  12. No. They lost to Miami and have a worse division record. If they split with New England and have the same record Bills win division
  13. Bills can go 6-0 to finish up. Honeslty anything less than 5-1 is really a disaster. If they can't beat Belichick at home this week shame on McD and Beane for wasting a SB window year
  14. No excuses. Tre is a great player but he wasn't playing top 5 CB level in 2021. Just use more zone and less man to man. If Pats beat the Bills because White is out, then this team and in particular this coaching staff is even worse than I thought. This is a SB caliber team with a MVP QB playing at home against a rookie QB. The only way they lose is to be outcoached.
  15. No it just proves the addage there are statistics and there are lies. Yes they are top 5 against the rush. But the opponents they have played have terrible offenses. They could not handle Tenn or Indianapolis. New England is not in their league though so hopefully Bills D will do the job.
  16. I think the weather during those two games were better than every home game this year.
  17. Another great idea. I just did $270.27 to the senior lunch box fund.
  18. Maybe it is my confirmation bias but your assessment of Ford is the same as mine but we still differ on Edmunds. As you did I saw Ford get knocked straight back in pass protection several times but did not let his man get past him. Its a repeated problem. Not sure if Ford is just slow off the ball or is just not strong enough. The fact that after getting pushed back he is able to anchor suggests to me he is just slow to get set. Yes he doesn't give up a sack but the pocket is collapsed and makes it harder for Allen to step up. All in all he is playing better than Boettger but I suspect they will keep Boettger at LH when Brown comes back.
  19. I advocated for this switch a couple weeks ago. I still think it could work. That said I think this is slow COVID recovery and having to play on Thursday He will have 11 days to recover for MNF and will be better
  20. Just don't get beat deep. That's all he needs to do. The SuperBowl is solely dependent on Allen.
  21. He breaks a few more tackles than you think but it is still way too few. I'm fine with a 50 / 50 split with Brieda. As someone else said if Breida can't pass block then Singletary will get 70% of the snaps
  22. White goes to IR so that is 1 spot already open on the 53. Anyone else on the PS is easily replaced. That said I would just pick a veteran and bring them in to the PS. If they suck cut them and sign another one a week later.
  23. Wrong mindset. They should be all in now and next year. Otherwise they waste Allen's best years. Who cares about the cap in 2023.
  24. With Allen's arm throwing back across the field should work well. Russell Wilson and the Seahawks try this almost every game. I think the long pass to Diggs against the Jets late in the game was a mini roll to the right throw back left.
