Star, Murphy, Butler, Jefferson, and Addison were veteran singings. Star is ok at best. Addison is at best ok sometimes. The rest are awful. But I wanted to keep Lawson and he has turned out to be even worse than he was with Buffalo so they made the right decision there. Hated the Oliver pick but he is playing well now. He will likely never live up to draft position but he is looking like a solid above average starter. I was ready to write off Phillips but he has had a nice month or two of games. Hope he finishes the season strong.

Yup. McKenzie was playing the John Brown role. Deep slants and crosses. Runnimg always from people in man and through zones. Sanders and Davis do that a little but there games are more vertical. As you stated that is not Beasley game. He excels on short curls and quick out patterns. Hope to see more McKenzie on first and second down and let Beasley play some third downs when they need to pick up a short to medium gain.

All-22 Grades for Bills/Patriots (The Athletic)

Epenesa has really been a non factor outside of the Miami game. He was supposed to be a play to the whistle hustle guy but you don't see him making any of those type of plays. I posted before I liked the idea of him trimming down but the weight loss has not translated into any type of athleticism. He will be on the short list of surprise training camp cuts next season depending on what they do in free agency. He probably is given one more season to prove himself as my guess is both Addison and Hughes will be gone. I'd take a one year older Hughes over what we have seen from Epenesa so far. -
All-22 Grades for Bills/Patriots (The Athletic)

I was really impressed with Dawkins. I've been watching terrible guard play more closely than Dawkins all year. In the plays that Dawkins had given up earlier in the year it seemed to be more speed rushes around the edge than any stunts or inside pass rushes where poor guard play might be the issue. What I saw last week, was him setting up early in pass protection and engaging the pass rusher early. He stood up the defender and typically gave no ground. I thought at the time this may be a way to conserve energy if he was not 100%. -
Unfortunately they won't be playing Mike White, Zach Wilson, Brissett, Tua, Heinicke, Siemian, or Mills in the SB. That is just for a playoff spot not the division championship and a home playoff game

Huh? This makes no sense. The Bills did exactly what you say others teams would do and screw up their QB. Allen took over for Peterman in the first game of his rookie season. And then he started week 2. He was the starter until he injured his elbow. Then they fired his first OC at the end of the season.

I thought it was just famous people... Anyways its been a a bad month for NFL HOF deaths. Two HOF players passed away recently as well, Claude Humphrey( age 77) and Curley Culp (age 75). Also of course Bucs WR Vincent Jackson dying at a young age. -

The only irreplaceable person in the whole franchise is Allen. There are only a very small number of coaches that make the players better. Usually its the other way around. Look at all the coordinator failures that have left New England, Pittsburgh (Arians the notable exception), Denver and Seattle of late. All were terrible head coaches that got a job because or Brady, Roethlisberger, Manning and Wilson.

Spotrac: 2022 AFC East offseason preview

Morse lowered his salary last year and though only average is still at worst the third best guy one the line - and that assumes Brown continues to develop. I wanted a C/G last year in the draft instead of Basham. I would spend money in FA on a really solid guard. Put him between Dawkins and Morse and the left side is set. Boettger will be cut or injury settlement. No way he plays next year with an Achilles tear in December. Keep Ford because he is cheap and has played a little better as of late. First round take OT unless there is a major run on them. If there is then go WR,RB, or TE. -
Yeah I think that is a fair argument. Moorman's net yardage was amazing and if I recall was over 40 and that had not been done before. Schobel is #1 on my list of most underrated Bills of all time and I believe should be next guy on the Wall of Fame (Phil Hanson is and was not the player Schobel was) Cold. Covid. People expect a win. Build a dome and December games will be sold out
