Yes. After Klein showed he could play MLB, they would occasionally play a 4-3 and line up Edmunds on the outside in a 2 point stance. He wasn’t an effective pass rusher from that spot as others pointed out last year. He really has no pass rushing skill whatsoever.

Who are your upset picks this week?

Tonight won’t get it done
Ethan in Cleveland replied to quinnearlysghost88's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes if they turn the ball over 4 times a game every game yes at some point they will lose a game. Except that won't happen. And even when they play a clean game they may lose. The pass rush looked excellent. The o-line looked good enough. Josh looks like the best QB in the NFL. Nothing changed after yesterday's game. Still predicting Bills Chargers in AFC Championship game in Buffalo. Preseason play had nothing to do with anything. Two fumbles has nothing to do with preseason. McKenzie not cleanly catching a perfect pass has nothing to do with preseason. -
Von Miller played just 35 snaps vs the Rams
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
As long as Basham and Epenesa can be productive, then keeping Miller fresh for the playoffs will be helpful. -
Yup. Wyoming shows Bills all the time and according to the internet one of the radio stations there broadcasts the games too.

Baldy's Breakdowns from last night's demolition
Ethan in Cleveland replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Great breakdowns. I'm a frequent critic of Gilliam but that was a nice lead block on the Singletary run. On the same play Davis needs to keep his head up. He exposed his neck to injury trying to block the safety. They teach not to do that in pee wee. Also a frequent critic of Epenesa, and he played well too. He flashed last year and then disappeared. Hopefully he sustains this year. -
Yeah I saw that. There is also a sign that has both Sheridan and Buffalo

Interesting topic. In terms of star status and a FA signing, it seems closest to Mario Williams. I however immediately thought of Bryce Paup and the impact he had on the defense. He played OLB in a 3-4, but would likely be a 4-3 DE today. Let's hope Miller can generate a season like Paup had in 1995 also his first with the Bills.

Making the cross country drive and stopped in Wyoming for dinner. Wore my white Bills hat with the standing red buffalo. Lots of positive Allen comments from wait staff and fellow diners. I know a few colleagues from Wyoming that have embraced Allen and the Bills as well. On to South Dakota and Minnesota tomorrow.

A Few Thoughts About the Rams Game, in no particular order
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Interesting take. Dawkins, Poyer, Hyde, Davis, and heck even Singletary are playing at an elite level. -
It was a big game. He will run less against lesser opponents. What dir he start 10 for 10 so you really can't say he needs to run early to get into the game. The stiff arm looked nice but that is his throwing hand. He'll either hand is invaluable. Needs to cut down those risk plays.

Yes this is correct. He is 100% safe this year no matter the outcome. Barring something crazy like what was found on Gruden.

Still don't understand the Collinsworth hate on this board. He has a style. He talks up the stars and tries to highlight a few unsung heros on the lines from time to time. I've never detected an anti-Buffalo bias. He loves the fan base in Buffalo. We sucked for the majority of his broadcasting career and he must have called dozens of Brady's games. What is he supposed to say when you lose for 17 years?

Good problem to have. We have no idea how Tre will play when he comes back. Also, pass rush makes any DB look better. Even knowing what we know now, I think DB in the first round was the right move.

This has to be the deepest dline we’ve ever had
Ethan in Cleveland replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thats always been the best formula to win. Easy to say but very difficult to pull off. Miller was amazing and everyone else did their part. Now just stay healthy, build big leads, and let the kids rush the passer all 4th quarter -

Dam, Singletary looks good. Maybe he is worth a second contract at the right price -
How confident are you going into tonight's game?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Are the Bills more talented? Even if so it is not by much. Rams are very good and have best defensive player in the NFL. Bills are missing Tre. That said I think this offense is going to be special. Bills 38 Rams 31 Please no repeat stinker like last year on national television. -
Guess the first offensive play: run or pass?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to phypon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Screen pass to Singletary -
First nobody really knows how good or bad Daboll was. Second we know absolutely nothing about Dorsey. Third we have Josh Allen, which makes whoever is calling plays look good. Daboll didn't get beat blocking on 4th and 1 at Tenn and he didn't give up a FG with 13 seconds left. I think the Bills offense will be just fine if the oline stays healthy. Im more worried about that #1 defense facing real QBs this season.
