Aikman is clueless. He can't keep the teams straight.

Who Do The Bills Sign At Cornerback?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Allen2D̶i̶g̶g̶s̶TBD's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thats a shame. Seems like he could play at least as a backup. Seattle had a player without a hand play. -
Week 4: Bills at Ravens 10/2 1pm

Isn't that what I said? -
Joe Buck seems like he is slurring his words. He sounds drunk. I haven't watched him much lately. Is that how he sounds all the time?

That explains why he was so bad last year. Who knew his ACL was torn this whole time. Terrible draft pick. Said it at the time. Waste of a pick.

Who Do The Bills Sign At Cornerback?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Allen2D̶i̶g̶g̶s̶TBD's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nobody. Jackson will be back this week and Elam looked great. Tre is a few weeks away. Benford can play a few weeks with a cast. I'd go after a safety. Johnson looked terrible for a guy that "has been in the meeting room" for four years. He's not good enough. Go get a big body to play SS and move Poyer back to FS. Long term I wonder if Benford is good enough to play safety. Elam is not relinquishing that starting spot. -
Just IR and injury settlement him.

Time for Beane to "break glass in case of emergency"?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hmmm. Maybe if he had traded for Miller last season they would have won in KC. The trade deadline is early in the NFL so you have to start thinking about making moves now. Maybe that move is to move a corner to safety. Maybe it is to sign someone else. Cowboys just moved Jason Peters up from PS. Bucs added Beasley. Not saying those are make or break moves but it shows you teams are still adjusting their roster and addressing injury issues beyond just next man up. -
Chiefs..Bills…Chargers…who had the roughest loss

Chargers got decimated by injuries again. So much for my preseason pick to make it to the AFC Championship game Agree -
Week 4: Bills at Ravens 10/2 1pm

So has Jackson. Bills have more outside weapons than Ravens do. Bills D is better. I can't see Bills losing unless the defense collapses against the run like Colts/Pats last year. I dont think that will happen as they seem more stout up front than last season. -
Cowherd killing Bills coaching in his monologue
Ethan in Cleveland replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cowherd is a moron. This loss had nothing to do with coaching. It was execution plain and simple. Josh fumbled. Josh almost threw three picks. Davis had a TD reception knocked out of his hands. Bass missed a chip shot. Crowder dropped a punt. Milano dropped a sure pick 6. Johnson played like crap. Go back and check the threads all of you that said he would be fine because he was "in the system". He's athletically limited and his only responsibility on 3rd and 22 is not get beat deep. Terrible play. Only coaching issue was play call on 2nd and goal. -
Poor coaching by McDermott is becoming a theme
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Neither did KC. Both Reid and KC made a change and that put both of them over the top. McDermott isn't going anywhere this season no matter what happens. If they don't make a SuperBowl this year the seat gets got in the media. But the media is not Pegula and that is all that matters. -

The better comparison is Dungy. He couldn't get the job done in Tampa with 2 HOF players on defense. Colts and Manning won the SuperBowl despite Dungy. Dungy was awful in the playoffs. I'm pretty sure I have the correct season. Manning had to waive the punt team off the field or they lose in the playoffs during their SupwrBowl run. Allen will win a SB in Buffalo despite McDermott not because of him. -

Odd week to call out the coaching. I'm a McDermott skeptic and have been for a while. But coaching didn't cost the Bills this game. It was execution. Players lost it and the injuries were crushing. Only coaching mistake was no QB sneak on the goal line. -

Is it not reasonable to expect a NFL player to be able to snap the ball??? If that is the excuse it is laughable. Allen should have been under center and it should have been a QB sneak. A shovel pass is a nice play there too but it should have been a QB sneak. That is on McDermott not telling his rookie OC what to do. Other than that play, I dont have much of an issue with McD decisions yesterday. And I've never been a McD fan. However, yesterday was really poor execution by the offense not coaching. Josh included. You don't know that and neither do I. If they pick up the blitz and Hill finds open space he can run away from everyone. It was bad execution not a bad call. -

Yes it would have been better if Miller was in, but dropping 8 is the standard on 3rd and long. Most teams do that. Green Bay did the same thing on the second to last Tampa drive last night and Brady had to dump it off and punt. Play deep, rally, and tackle the underneath throw. The call was fine it was the putrid execution that was not. -
Week 4: Bills at Ravens 10/2 1pm
Ethan in Cleveland replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
That can't be. I read here all the time he is not a good passing QB. -
Not elite??? This season he has a QB rating of 120, 6TD against only 1 INT. 64% completion percentage. For his career he has a QB rating of 99 and a 3:1 TD:INT ratio. All of which are better than Allen's career stats. Allen only beats Lamar in yards passing. What part of that is not elite? Can you define elite for me? Its really hard not to see a racial bias in all the Lamar Jackson is not a good passing QB comments. Other than him being black, please give me one reason he is not an elite QB in your estimation? Can you provide any stat? Any evidence at all?

Get The Ball Spotted Ref!

It wasn't 10 seconds. It was 9 maybe even closer to 8 as others have posted. -
This game exposed we rely to much on Josh again
Ethan in Cleveland replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know. Pregame I posted they should have played Bates at C and Quessenbury at G. Roten was terrible. Even with that though they moved the ball and controlled the clock. They just couldn't finish - dropped TD, fail to score from 6 in line, missed FG. Allen is nearly unstoppable even if he got a little lucky today. Not many other guys stepped up and made a big play. On to Baltimore. A win there and they should be ok. Lose next week and we can all start to panic
