Nope. They were in zone and Jackson vacated his zone. -

Jackson blew his assignment. How do you blame Frazier for that. -

OLine/Unforced Error All 22 Review - Bills/Dolphins Wk 14
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the Brown criticism is warranted but in this last game he was quite a bit better than he had been. I also found 4 negative plays but he also had some really good 1:1 blocks where they left him on an island. Thought it was one of his better games. He doesn't need to be elite just serviceable for another year so they can focus on LG, future C, and WR early in the draft. He was playing ok until these last two games when he has been really bad. Hopefully he turns it around. -

They need interior OL and WR not OT. They will give Brown another year and Dawkins is fine at LT. -
Week 16: Bills at Bears on Christmas Eve
Ethan in Cleveland replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
You left out one statistic. They were 1-1 in the two games you pointed out. So OMG they gave up 200 yards AND LOST has a lot more meaning than how you describe it. -
Week 16: Bills at Bears on Christmas Eve

Yup. They should be in 4-3 much more than usual. If Basham was playing you could even play some 5-2 by kicking him inside. Will be interesting to see what Frazier does now that he is down to 3 DEs. Does Oliver and/or Settle play some DE? Does Edmunds? I'd rather see something creative instead of just bringing up some PS bum to take snaps at DE. -
Mt. Rushmore of busts. Is Wilson on it?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Cson76's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't know Tim Couch, Joey Harrington and Akili Smith come immediately to mind as bigger busts than Wilson. And that is just QB's - I'm looking at you Tony Mandarich -
Morse and Basham Out For Chicago Game
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Robert James's topic in The Stadium Wall
But will they play him at center? I like him in the pivot too but so far this season they have been reluctant to move him there. Correct me if I am wrong even in Miami they did not move him to center when they were down to the third string. -
Treatment of opposing team fans(your experience)

I was at that Green Bay game too. I was left underwhelmed by the supposed mystique of Lambeau Field. It's just an old worn out bad stadium with bad food and bad bathrooms -
Treatment of opposing team fans(your experience)

Odd, I've been there twice in the last two years and the stands were 40% Bills fan. No bad behavior by Jets fans. -
Milano got screwed Morse is good but he is not first team ProBowl center Bass is having a great year but Tucker has the name recognition and the nasty stare

I posted during the game that it looked like Poyer blew his assignment and should have been deeper. -
Justin Fields makes me nervous.
Ethan in Cleveland replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's a talented QB with zero supporting cast. I love how the board mocks other QBs and forget where we were just a short time ago. His 2021 and 2022 stats are for the most part (QB rating, comp %, less INTs) better than Allen's 2018 and 2019 stats. He is better in year 2 than year 1 just like Allen was. The question will be can he make the tremendous improvement in year 3 that Allen did. Not many QBs in the history of the game have done that. As for strategy. I never liked using a spy. No player on the Bills D can run with him. You are better off playing your base defense, try to keep him in the pocket and force him to throw to a below average group of wideouts. -
Sean McDermott - master of the saying nothing
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Dan Darragh's topic in The Stadium Wall
His coach speak is fine. He provided reasonable answers to reasonable sideline questions. Good job by him and the reporter. Beane just out and out lies and the fan base eats it up as gospel. -
No the controversy was if a Steeler WR was the one who touched the ball then another Steeler can't legally catch it. That was the rule then. So the only way the catch is legal is if the ball hit the Raiders DB first. From all the replays I have seen there is no way to tell who touched the ball first. The ball clearly goes backwards at quite a speed and distance which would make it seem like it was the Raiders defender who hit the ball as the Steelers WR was coming across the field not towards the ball as the Raiders' defender was. The other controversy is the refs huddled after the play and I'm pretty sure called NFL headquarters. There was no replay of course. The story goes that they asked about their security because if they ruled the catch was illegal they were afraid of the fans reactions and their safety. Supposedly that is what a Raiders player overheard them saying.
