  1. Its not. Did you not hear the explanation? It was a great no call.
  2. Everyone? Go back and check the tape on that. Half this board wanted to drafted a new QB after year 2.
  3. Never said what people should believe and never will. They can beleive God was involved. I choose to celebrate the science and the skill of those involved in saving his life.
  4. Win and no injuries. Thats all we need. To that point getting out to a big lead and resting the starters would help decrease possible injuries to the key players. Hope they come out aggressive and try to blow the game wide open early.
  5. I don't see any reason why you play McKenzie in this game. You have Beasley,Shakir, and Brown who can pick up his snaps. Im not even sure that is a drop off in talent. Even if it is let McKenzie heal up for another week.
  6. I understand what Staley is trying to say. But backups are backups and it is what it is. They play when a starter is injured or the game is already won or if it is a meaningless game. The starters are more important players. They aren’t more important people. But it’s a game not a court room or an emergency room. He rolled the dice and lost. He’s not the first. Patriots did the same with Wes Welker and he tore his knee.
  7. Lane Johnson is hurt. I don’t think Eagles will even make it to NFC Championship
  8. Im not trying to denigrate anyone’s beliefs. Science saved Damar Hamlin. Not prayer. Science and preparation is what saved him. He would have died on the field if this happened probably as late as the 1990s. Science developed the AED and the CPR protocols that saved him. We should celebrate that.
  9. Congrats! Guy makes plays. It’s as simple as that. He misses a tackle from time to time but he makes up for it with a key stop or a takeaway. He’s been special this season. A few years back I think many were surprised Milano stayed and the size of his contract. It was a good debate. Many said he was as critical or more than Edmunds. There were some injury concerns and at his size there were durability concerns. Even this season he has been banged up and missed some time. He’s missed games in all but 2 seasons so far but outside of 2020 it’s only been a game or two. He’s proven to have been a very good contract extension decision.
  10. You can make a case for all of the following. Schobel, Brown, Moulds, Jackson, and Williams You can make a case that none of them were superstar players and to avoid watering down the Wall of Fame that none of them should go up. That said there are guys like Ferguson, Conlan, Hansen, and Smerlas that don't belong with some of the true greats of the game. They won't take those names down when they move to the new stadium but it doesn't mean they have to have a low bar to make the Wall. Im not saying only HOF guys should be on the wall either. I've been saying for years that Schobel should be next after Cookie made it.
  11. He's done at this point. Having those speed guys is not even playing to his strengths. He was best with Gronk and Welker dissecting defenses not going over the top(outside of one year with Moss).
  12. No way for next year. Groot is developing nicely. They need WR, OL, and probably safety. And that is if Edmunds stays. Honestly I'd be happy if they just brought back Lawson and Hughes to go with Basham, Miller, and Groot. Epenesa is gone. Maybe get a 7th round pick for him but probably not even that. They probably give Basham another year but he's closer to a bust than he is a contributor at this point. Another veteran pass rusher besides Hughes would be fine. But next year's draft had better be a minimum of 4 if not 6 offensive players.
  13. Never wanted. Still don't. Seems nobody else does either.
  14. Hopefully up by 4 TD,in the 3rd quarter and the starters are resting. Would like to see the defense get a score this week. Rousseau strip sack and fumble recover for a TD.
  15. He was on the sidelines last game for the first time. You don't wbat a guy fish off of surgery on the sidelines where he could get hit. And by all accounts he is still in the film room and game plan install sessions.
  16. Tre was mental and a knee. This is a neck. He may have been doing some cardio work. Not dismissing your point because it is valid. But if he can run and is cleared to play from a neck standpoint, then they can use him. Maybe just not every down of every series like before.
  17. Crowder don't really care. I'm fine with Beasley. Hyde would be amazing!
  18. Why not? Rookie WRs taken high in the draft produce early. Davis is not going anywhere. He is still under contract for next season.
  19. If people stop calling him a genius then we will stop talking about his misses. He's a solid GM but he has multiple failed high draft picks now. As you pointed out just like every other GM. I agree Beane is much better. Whaley as a ProPlayer evaluator is probably his sweet spot.
  20. Oliver is tied up already. Motor is gone. Saffold is gone. Sign Poyer for 3 year deal and tag Edmunds. Easy. Draft WR,S, and OL. Done.
  21. Draft a relatively cheaper WR. They can produce almost instantly. We need young speed. Hopkins is still great but way too expensive.
  22. Tag and let him walk after 2023. He will not sign a long term deal near what Milano was paid and Milano and Poyer are more important players. There was not much of a drop off with Klein last year. Bernard pick was just an absolute waste of a key player.
  23. It's been debated ad nauseum but Whaley never got to pick a GM or a QB. He made some fine trades and some nice other picks back in the day. Beane got the franchise QB with some very nice maneuvers and a bit of luck. The real hard work begins when he must choose which players to extend and which to let walk.
  24. Whatever Hyde wants to wear is fine with me
  25. I thought Josh bailed out of the pocket on one of the third downs a bit early. It was late in the game but I don't recall now which series. I think it ended up a sack or maybe he gained a yard or two, regardless they had to punt. Seemed like he bailed to his left when there was still a pocket to stand in.
