  1. Kelce is a top 3 TE in history at his peak. He may very well be the best ever. The only way to stop elite TEs is with cornerbacks. They are too fast for linebackers and safeties especially if they lie up off the LOS. Kelce and Knox are bigger than every player on the defense. There is no size matchup that you can win and if you try to match size all you do is lose speed. Match him with a corner that can run with him. That's the only way to slow him down. I'd play White or Elam man to man on him the entire game and have safety help over the top. Play zone coverage everywhere else.
  2. Who cares as long as they lose
  3. 1. Pass rush 2. JA no turnovers It's all that matters. The rest is just filler
  4. Rousseau with a multisack one forced turnover game.
  5. Yeah I agree. He is always late to hit a guy in the pile after the whistle blows. Sometimes diving on the pile. So far he has gotten away with it. Worry about a flag or injuring one of our own guys. Pretty sure he almost took out Diggs last week with a late diving block. Diggs had to jump and roll over to avoid a nasty leg whip.
  6. Beasley should play the slot. McKenzie can play the 4th WR on the plays that John Brown had last week. Or he can sit. I dont care. I'm fine with Shakir getting more chances too. Hope Phillips can play 15 snaps. I would only use him in pass rush situations.
  7. So Roman designs an offense that wins the QB a MVP. The team then fails to sign or draft a single decent WR. The TE is good. The top RB is solid but has missed the better part of two years with injuries. Roman then runs an offense that is able to stay in the game with the Bengals, only for the backup QB to not run a QB sneak the way it was taught. The offense ranking drops consistent with the amount of time Lamar misses. You think Daboll gets a HC job if Allen missed 8 games last year and Bills lost first game of playoffs? Nope. Harbaugh is the guy that has failed to evolve. The Raven's front office thinks it is 1975 with a 300 pound fullback. Roman is the scapegoat. If he hands the ball to Dobbins and they score and beat the Bengals, he would still have a job. One play that was run poorly by the backup QB is being used to protect Harbaugh and the FO from their own failures.
  8. I would agree. Blow it up. They stil have some good young defenders. You can always find WR's. Trade them for some assets and go get our next QB.
  9. yeah i just read they got a home game. I thought they were just on the list to play overseas. My bad
  10. Nov 21st was the last international game and that was in Mexico City. Nov 13th was the Germany game. I doubt they play overseas after Thanksgiving. The game will probably be played in Nov. My guess is it will be the Bills Patriots "home" game and then we will play the Pats in New England the final week of the season. Strike that - New England gets to host a game in Europe too.
  11. What disastrous mistakes did he make? He was not the GM that took Tua instead of Herbert.
  12. Do the Broncos get some sort of compensation? He has to be in some protected class for nepotism and below average intelligence.
  13. Careful I got DM'd for unnecessarily stoking fear in the fan base talking about Josh's injured ankle....
  14. Like Berman said when he was picking Bills 49ers every year- "Never Both but Never Neither"
  15. I'm not sure people understand the word incentivize. The team hiring a minority GM or HC is not incentivized. It is the team that developed that candidate such that they could eventually earn a GM or HC position, that is incentized to do so. Rewarded is probably a better term anyways. It would seem very unlikely a team would put a minority in a high ranking position only to hope they get signed by another team so they could get a 3rd round pick.
  16. No he is the best QB in NFL history. My opinion won't change. I would still rank Jerry Rice #1 overall. His stats for his era blow away any other player that played WR in NFL history.
  17. Looks like more of a marker than something to place the ball on. Probably a visual que to know where to place the ball. Regardless it is illegal.
  18. Not with our cap situation. Knox is the clear#1. #2 TE needs to block. Morris is fine, but if they can find a cheap version of Lee Smith I would be fine swapping out Morris. #3 TE needs to be a swing OT. They are going to draft an OT and probably a C/G next season. They will likely need one extra roster spot for OL. They can carry Sweeney on the PS all year if they want.
  19. Dawkins regressed just a bit but he is still very good. Brown has not improved. Very up and down. Morse is solid. Guard play is not really good at anything but both of them are not awful either. A second round OG should be an upgrade. Bates has underwhelmed with the new contract. I wonder if he will be a cap casualty. They can get similar play for far less money.
  20. Arm arrogance is a a stupid term. To me it just means the QB has elite talent but takes chances with the ball. Allen has been reckless with the ball all year. Much more than last year. When he takes care of the football we are nearly unstoppable. As for Mahimmes he has only two less INT but 1000 more yards. I just hope one of these next two games we get the Andy Reid choke job of the past.
  21. I hope he stays home to be honest. They don't need that emotion or distraction.
  22. Is Dallas good or is Tampa that bad?
  23. All turnovers are reviewed
  24. Does the chip say when the knee is down or the whistle is blown? Its more than just where the ball is.
