Sorry but you are just wrong. This defense has had the luxury of playing some of the worst QBs in the league for several years and padding their stats against them. Edmunds and the entire defense has been dominated or choked in multiple games against elite QBs. The anomaly games are the KC regular season games when the D has played well. That said most defenses get torched by elite QBs. Build around Allen and give McDermott one more year to prove he can make a SuperBowl. If not he has to go and give Allen a great offensive minded HC.

I dont think Edmunds is best at his position. I've been a huge critic of his. But half this board thinks he is. And he will sign with someone for no less than top 3 MLB money. So yes some GM will believe he is one of the best at his position or maybe better said has the potential to be. Maybe Beane and McD still think that too. I hope not. I think he's a fraud. Moot point now. Just hope someone pays him top dollar and Beane doesn't screw up the comp pick.

Go all in. Sign Orlando Brown and move Dawkins to LG. Massive upgrade to the OL that fixes two positions with one signing.

They have a 4th place schedule in 2023 and a 4 game improvement gets them 11 wins. That would have been the top WC seed last year. 5 game improvement and that puts them in the division title race right up until the very end. Lots of teams improve 4 or 5 games in a year. Bengals went from last to first two years ago. Detroit this past season went from 3 wins to 9 wins. And lots of teams suck for long periods of time like the Falcons, Browns, and Commanders of late. Is Rodgers in his prime? No. Is he massively better than White and Wilson? Yes. Is Jets roster better than the Packers? Yes. Bills with Allen in his prime would still be the favorite to win the division. Just as KC was thought to be challenged by Denver with the addition of Wilson, maybe the Jets fall apart too. Ugh can't wait for free agency to start LOL. If God hates the Jets, what does he/she think about the Bills? Jets have a Championship Trophy (it wasn't called the Lombardi Trophy until SuperBowl V). We have Wide Right.

Exactly and it only takes one team to set the market. Nobody thought Jamal Adams was worth two first round picks until Seattle traded for him. Edmunds is not worth the money on this team because the Bills now have so much money tied up elsewhere. For another team that may not be the case. At best we are now looking at a 2024 3rd round pick somewhere around pick 100 if Beane does not screw up the compensation pick. That is absolutely awful return for Edmunds skill level. If done correctly Beane could have easily netted a 2nd round pick or maybe even a low first rounder. This was mistake one. Hopefully he doesn't make it worse by signing him to a long term deal.

And the Bills lost to each of those teams last season and barely beat the Dolphins in the playoffs with a 3rd string QB. The difference between the rosters is not much and Rodgers closes the gap. Now that of course does not mean the Bills can't get better. A better oline and a better WR group and the Bills will be an even better team next season.

What was the difference in the number of wins the Bills had between Allen's first and third year. QB play is almost all that matters in NFL. If the Jets get better QB play it could mean a 6 or 7 game improvement. Remember this team beat the Bills once last year already and it took a nearly dead Mike White to lose in Buffalo. Rodgers to Jets would be awful for Bills

Are you serious??? Rodgers lost his best player on offense last season Jets QBs were jokes. Jets roster is loaded except at QB. Rodgers makes them an instant AFC title contender and it doesn't even blow up their cap situation. Rodgers to Jets or hell even Miami would be a huge blow to Bills.

You tag Edmunds to trade him. If he just lets him walk for a comp pick that would be criminal. And Beane would probably screw that up too. I want to move on from Edmunds but letting him walk for nothing would be bad. There will be a market for him. Tagging him gives you options.

Sure it does. Oliver isn't that good and as you saw in the SuperBowl playing defense is pointless. They need multiple weapons on defense and it would not be a long term commitment. Makes perfect sense.

A good signing but I'm hoping with draft and free agency they can do better. If he was the last oline to make the team it would be fine. He's cheap. Knows the system.
