  1. I was worried Benford was a worse injury than they were letting on. What's the deal with Lawson? Can't believe he is not dressing with Groot out. No way Jonathan is playing better than Lawson.
  2. Cmon kid this is your time to prove you can play!
  3. Some say there is no such thing as a trap game. I'm not one of them. I said they would be 7-1 after the Jets loss and this is my only worry. This should be McD's strength as a coach. Keeping things level and focused. But we've all seen the emotional let down after a big win. Tre going down is a big loss but I think Jackson and Elam will be up to the task. Hopefully Benford can make it through the game. I'm not expecting much from Von other than maybe a few reps on 3rd and long. Look for Kincaid and Shakir to have breakout games today as Josh doesn't force it to Diggs. If OL plays as it has, Bills should win by 10. I don't think this is going to be pretty though. Maybe 27-17 with Bills getting a late FG to go up by two scores.
  4. I think the point is you can win in this league with a great run game. Elite QBs are rare. Teams that can run the ball effectively are easier to build. It's not like the Colts are going to stop developing their young QB.
  5. Since 2020 we have not played in the SuperBowl. Nothing else matters
  6. Seriously I know. Rice is the best PLAYER in NFL history.
  7. That was an article with someone referencing PFF. Not actually a PFF site. The author is probably using data from last year after Von went down. Seems just poorly written.
  8. Miami is the Dolphins KC is the Chiefs
  9. This sucks. If I remember this is his 3rd foot injury. Hopefully this is not a chronic issue. He was not the same player when he came back from injury last year. Someone posted a pic showing Oliver falling on the ankle.
  10. Yelling "pass" doesn't work in JV football let alone the NFL.
  11. Agree with almost all the comments above. What is it about the Jets that gives Allen issues? Conversely what is it about Miami that he owns them?
  12. He was "concerned" about Diggs. That worked out ok. I think the kid will be fine especially with two capable safeties behind him.
  13. Future? If you mean the rest of this season starting now, then yes.
  14. A bit unfair comparison at this time for Kelce. He missed game 1 and we don't know how much that knee injury is affecting him now. Historically it is a no-brainer they are in the top 10 of all time. Allen and Diggs are playing great together. I only see maybe 2 times a game that Dorsey/Allen is forcing the ball to Diggs. Other than that Allen is reading what he sees and delivering to the right player.
  15. Why he is not the moron that gave Jones a contract extension? Giving Jones an extension was so dumb. But not caving to Barkley looks wise at this point.
  16. He is currently 15th highest paid LT in the league. Only a small increase expected for next year with two years left on his deal. Bills have all the leverage. If he plays well he is a relatively cheap very good LT.
  17. It would be interesting to know what they mean by play action. Does that include in shotgun where they play RPO or fake a handful as well? No matter what Rex says I have to believe play action is more effective when there is an actual threat of a run. Of course it is also more effective when you have the lead and the defense is more likely to expect a run. Running play action down 10 in the fourth quarter can't do much. Up 10 in the fourth quarter and it has to be lethal.
  18. Seriously I have not heard McGovern's name once in four games.
  19. I wish we could get an honest answer. Is McD dialing up better calls? Or is this the Floyd, healthy Rousseau, healthy Oliver, healthy Hyde, healthy White(gulp), and more instinctive Bernard cumulative effects? Was Frazier held back by Edmunds lack of play making? Frazier had statistically good defenses but they never felt this aggressive. McD is rarely bringing more than 4 guys.
  20. I've been pretty down on Dion the last year or so. I thought he played an excellent game on Sunday. Perhaps his best game in the last 20. I have no idea how he will be graded out but it looked like he was holding his own one on one the entire game and giving far less ground than he had earlier this year. If he can play at this level all year maybe they keep him next year. His cap hit is only marginally more than this year. His dead cap hit is over $7M. That would save them $8M in cap space but leave them relying on a rookie to play LT. What did others see?
  21. It's a young man's game. Rapp is better and we all know it. Rapp should start the rest of the year.
  22. Unlikely.Allen makes Dorsey good not the other way around.
  23. Saleh is gutless. His team has no hope. What do you have to lose?
