  1. RPO in the red zone. So predictable. The defense knows our red-zone plays better than we do.
  2. I'm rounding at the hospital and out if the loop. Anyone know who is starting at center?
  3. Morse being out is a potential killer and greatly outweighs Tre being back
  4. They should build a dome regardless of last week's moved game or any future game that needs to be moved.
  5. He has to be on the 53 but doesn't mean he has to dress for the game
  6. I still think Fields has the best chance to succeed from that draft class. I never liked Lawrence and Fields has gotten a bit better but still has a long way to go. Bears have very little talent around him. Wilson was hot garbage before he was drafted. The rest of the Jets roster is somewhat competent. White is a terrible QB too. Benching Wilson at this point means he has to be replaced next year. There is no going back from this for the organization.
  7. That's not a fair assessment of the situation. Tre has been cleared to practice and not on the injury report for nearly a month now. Its fair for media and fans to question why. Nobody on this board would expect Hyde back this season after neck surgery. Expecting a player to come back in a year after an ACL repair is actually quite reasonable and apparently the Bills medical staff agrees.
  8. Has anyone asked why this wasn't caught and dealt with after last season? If he has been having pain for a long time why did they not deal with it last January?? You give doctors too much credit. They are just using best judgment as none of this stuff is studied in elite athletes returning to NFL...Case in point Mr. Eichel
  9. Keep playing at this level and he is first team All-Pro. TJ Watt is listed as a LB and has name recognition even if inured this year. He plays OLB in Pittsburgh's 3-4 base even though in most nickel defenses he has his hand in the ground as a DE I beleive. Is there another OLB playing at the level Milano is?
  10. I would fear a momentum shift just like if they got a big kickoff return. That said many teams kick the ball very high and short because the kickoff team is 15 yards closer to the return guys. You have a good chance of pinning them well back of the 25 yard line.
  11. Coryell should have been enshrined years ago. His offense is the foundation of the modern NFL and transformed the game itself. Criminal he was not voted in while still alive. Every year I have posted Flores and Coryell were most deserving They finally let Flores in. Now do the right thing and enshrine Coryell.
  12. Joe Thomas is a top 5 LT of all time He is a first ballot lock. I would vote in Thomas, Revis, and Hester. That’s it. Those are the only three worthy of HOF. Johnson, Wayne, and Willis are very close to HOF level and given they typically vote in the max I think all three have a good shot of being enshrined.
  13. It's the same money whether you give it in a guaranteed contract or a signing bonus. The players won't get both. The players are better off with large signing bonuses instead of guaranteed contracts. Its a straight time value of money calculation.
  14. We were laughing stocks Honest question, what the hell is a laughing stock and how did that become a phrase????
  15. Its a complicated question. We see when it works but typically we don't see all the times you get burnt blitzing. Now perhaps that completion would happen with or without blitzing. I'm in the camp if you can generate just a few more negative plays on defense its ok to give up a few more splash plays by the opposing offense. Our defense is death by a thousand cuts and just hoping the opponent bleeds out before we do. One strip sack or pick 6 can change the entire game. One 25 yard completiongiven up probably not so much. That said, they were rushing Miller against their RT and he was bull rushing most of the time. Would be nice to see a bit more creativity. The Milano sack was as much about Miller looping inside as it was about the blitz.
  16. Its a 45 min flight. Takes less time to drive to the stadium. I did find it odd that they had the players drive to Orchard Park only to take a bus to the airport. Seems like it would have been easier to just have them show up at the airport
  17. First Gilliam is not good at being a FB. You are correct many teams carry a FB - this article https://www.sportsrec.com/290825-drills-for-football-fullbacks.html states 19 out of 32 that have a FB under contract. Some unbelievably have two. So 13 teams out of 32 agree with me.
  18. Gilliam sucks but sometimes the defense makes plays too. Both things can be true. Its beyond stupid to carry a FB on a NFL roster. And please don't tell me he can play TE too. That's nonsense. The modern way to play is with two or three TEs and you just line up a #2 or #3 TE as an Hback.
  19. The drops are real. Just like with Knox it is so infuriating because they make the super difficult catch look easy. He's a great #2. And dirt cheap. We are lucky he has been so good. I'd still prefer coaxing Sanders out of retirement over OBJ and his bad knee if they really want to make a move to help the WR group.
  20. Agree I don't see it, but Detroit has won three in a row and gets a beat up Bills team on national TV. As with most opponents of the Bills, it will be Detroit's SuperBowl to beat Allen on national TV. Bills need to be prepared for their best effort.
  21. Especaily since the best ST player they have was acquired via trade two weeks ago. Jones, Matakevich, and Kumerow have no place on an NFL roster especially when you carry Gilliam at FB and Sweeney as whatever he does for the team. I can live with one of those three but not all three. I now they only play 2 LBs most of the time, but look what happens when either of them are hurt. The linebacker play is terrible. As for addressing depth, Beane targeted the offense by retaining Bates, signing Saffold, signing Howard (didn't work out but felt it was s good gamble)and bringing back McKenzie. If White had not gotten hurt I'm sure last draft first round would have been OL or WR. He tried to get a pass catching RB in free agency but the player changed his mind and then Beane took Cook. I would have gone WR or OL instead of Cook but it addressed a slight need. I hope next year's draft is WR, OL, OL and safety in no particular order. Obviously FA will affect that but they really should be going heavy on offense next year. They need a young WR for insurance incase Davis is too expensive to keep and no Shakir is not that guy.
  22. Davis has had drops but he has also made some amazing plays. If you think that teams have depth all over the place you are just wrong. Look no further than your example of KC. They lost both starting OTs in the playoffs a couple years ago and that cost them a SuperBowl. Look what Buffalo did to KC secondary after Matheiu was hurt in the game. Virtually no team can withstand the injuries the Bills have and have the record they do. Rejoice in the fact that we have Josh Allen and hope that his 2 and 1/2 game slump is over.
  23. All due respect to Gonzalez, Gronk, and Newsome, but Kelce is the best TE in NFL history. He is unstoppable.
