Do they really need Isabella? I'd rather go with one less WR and an extra DL this week. Good points about the Martin roster spot. Will be interesting to see how if all plays out. Maybe move Spector to IR and sign Klein to the active roster? Klein can play all the special teams Spector does. That allows you to bring up Haack as a PS elevation only. -

Seems odd but Burrow missed a month of camp and was limited for the first month of the season with a calf. -

Agree about the strength of their defense. Josh needs to dump it down all day, scramble, and maybe hit a play action pass from time to time. This is the week to NOT force the ball to Diggs. We probably have a better shot of winning if Diggs gets 2 targets instead of 10. Nothing against Diggs but this is the week he is best used as a decoy and open things up for Knox, Kincaid, and Cook underneath. -

Taron is the most important followed by Douglas. Hopefully they let Taron play. Bernard has played well but we need a guy that is fully healthy and can run to man the middle. I say live and die with Williams at MLB and either Klein or Dodson at the other LB spot.. He can play middle and spy Mahomes from time to time. If they win this game Williams should play spy on Jackson the entire game next week. -
What is your gut telling you right now?

I give McD a lot of xrap but in this game barring a coaching blunder this is all about Josh and the o-line execution. If Josh plays controlled hero ball we win. If Oline keeps Josh relatively clean we win. If Jones is lighting up Torrence I have a quick hook to go to Edwards or Bates at RG. Three series max to see if he is capable to handle Jones. I really think we are going to struggle against their corners. I'm fine with keeping extra guys in to block and if the forst read is not there a dump off or Josh run. So the game plan should be a lot of heavy formations and run calls. Hopefully some nice rollouts and ball control to the RB and TE. I think we can win even if Diggs doesn't get a catch but Josh runs for 75. Notice I didn't mention the defense. Really don't think the D matters. This is all on Josh and the offense. Score early, often, and play keep away from Reid, Mahomes and Kelce. I don't think any of those three have the patience to slug it out with Buffalo. If they can run and play action on us then Josh just needs to score (TD ot FG) nearly every drive. Lastily if Bills have the chance for a kill shot late in the game, trust Allen to make it. Even if he doesn't I'd rather go down with Allen than our D on a final drive. -
Cowboys bringing back Mike McCarthy
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
McCarthy 11-11 in the playoffs McDermott 5-5 in the playoffs Hopefully McD can get to 8-5 this season! -
If I was McD and Elam doesn't win a starting outside corner job, they should train him to be Johnson's back to as nickel. Now Elam can't tackle but he can cover man to man well.

Let Hyde retire. Poyer is playing well enough to bring back for one more year. His lack of speed is less of an issue. White offer a pay cut and chance to move to safety. If not cut him. Roll with Douglas, Jackson, Benford, and Elam as your 4 CBs. Draft a mid round safety First round needs to be WR, followed by C, and edge rusher in the top 3 rounds. We are set at RB, TE, LB, and CB. Sets up perfectly to take two WRs, an edge, maybe even a DT, and a center. Use 6th rounder on best college punter. A year ago I was all in on an OT. And if they took one it would be fine. But right now I'm thinking WR, C, Edge, and DT are top 4 priorities. Brown and Dawkins are fine for another year. DT less of an issue if they re-sign Jones. For the record I let Epenesa, Davis, Settle, and Phillips go.

TMZ reports Irsay likely OD'd last month.
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Mr. WEO's topic in The Stadium Wall
So Josh Gordon gets indefinite suspension for his alcohol addiction. Irsay should get the same. This is why the players have such a gripecwith the personal conduct policy. It rarely applies to management and the owners even less. -
He called the TOs in the first half to leave clock for the offense to try and score after Pittsburgh scored. And it was working until Josh took the sack. Lots of coaches take TOs for important plays. Don't really care about that. Biggest coaches blunder yesterday was 2nd and 7

It was a bad call because it looked like hit Allen on the head when in fact he never did. The game is too fast for the on field officials. Every play should be reviewed by an independent ref with video.

Fake Slide should be 15 yard penalty
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall
The reason all calls should be reviewable. That was not roughing the passer on the slide. It looked bad in real time but it wasn't a penalty I have no issue with the Josh run. He did nothing wrong -
How about Dawkins? He was singled up the entire game and I think other than once or twice held his own really well!!!

Yup and other than the dropped INT he didn't get mentioned the rest of the game Good for him!!! Yup and other than the dropped INT he didn't get mentioned the rest of the game Good for him!!!

I thought Benford was knee too. Head is more encouraging to be honest
