  1. Multi millionaire with a Duke education vs screaming football fans My guess his lifecwill be just fine Stupid contract that will cost both Daboll and the GM their jobs. As to your question, I take Wilson for sure. I'd take him over Cousins too.
  2. How can u say McDermott has his team prepared? It's usually just the opposite. The last two years they looked terrible against Jets and Steelers. The defense was terrible in the first half The offense was fine the entire game except for the penalties. If Allen doesn't fumble on first drive they probably match Arizona score for score in the first half. This team overemphasizes special teams and yet they give up the biggest play of the game. Gilliam is mostly on the roster for special teams and he is one of the guys who whiffed on the tackle. McD simply does not evolve. The best part of yesterday was spreading the ball around. That is what we wanted to see and honestly need to see without a #1 WR. I think most of us want to see more Shakir and more Kincaid. They drew up a TD pass to Kincaid that didn't work on Allen's second TD run. The offense again relied on Allen to do too much but for game 1 I will take it. As for the defense, Williams looks lost out there. Epenesa was a non factor. Didn't see much from the DTs but I was more focused on the DE play to be honest. Miller showed improvement. Arizona challenged the short zones all game and it worked well. Not sure if that is Miami's best approach but rest assured they will test our safeties this week. Bass did well in bad conditions but all were fairly short kicks. But so far so good.
  3. My two perennial targets played terrible today too Epenesa was almost a total nonfactor. He had one nice effort that caused an incomplete pass that won't show up in the stats. Other than that he lost contain a few times, they ran at him well, and zero pass rush. Gilliam missed a tackle along with Elam on the kickoff return TD. He was not being blocked. On final drive he blocked a couple guys 10 yards downfield but the play was already dead and his block did nothing. I still say both are useless
  4. Roughing against Murray was epic bad call Missed hip drop was bad too If you are going to call the Murray slide then you have to call the hit on Allen as a flag too. Personally I think both hits were fine. Neither should have been a flag. Good no calls on the final drive Still not sure the roughing the passer call Allen drew was warranted. Can't tell if he got helmet or just front of the jersey. If they didn't call the Murray slide a penalty it would have been a decently called game.
  5. Why would Bass be at fault? I'm sure he was told to kick it short. He only had a four yard run up. How was he terrible? Most of the passes completed by Murray were 5-10 yards downfield in the McDermott soft zones.
  6. He played well today. Crow tastes yummy!
  7. Watson is terrible The O-line is injured Bill Callahan left to coach with his kid Chubb is still out Dallas D is good I'm not one to defend Dorsey, but there are several much more relevant reasons the Browns struggled than it was Dorrsey's fault.
  8. How do you criticize Brady after today? If not for Allen fumbling and missing MVS they probably score 40+ and its not even a close game Cook was ripping off 8-9yard runs with alacrity. They spread the ball around to multiple targets. That's what everyone wanted on here. Get rid of Diggs and spread the ball around. I guess a few critiques could be no TE or RB screens and no significant misdirection. Though on Allen's second TD run, they lined up a TE(I think it was Kincaid) in the backfield and after faking a throw to the right the TE was supposed to slip out to the left but he got gobbled up in the OL.
  9. It's time to get rid of the slide. It's not fair to the defense and they can't officiate it properly
  10. The worst players on the roster almost cost them the game. Kick it in endzone every time
  11. I wondered that too
  12. He looked good. Brady did exactly what he said he was going to do. He spread the ball all over the field. If Josh hits that deep post to MVS that game would have been a blowout.
  13. I really thought in the moment they should decline that. They had 2nd and a short 1. A simple hand off burns 40 more seconds of clock. The five yards at that point wasn't all that helpful. Your thoughts?
  14. No he wasn't. Another dumb decision by McDermott. Nit sure what this kid did to get on McDermott's naughty list but if he is only going to play kickoff they should just trade him for a serviceable DE
  15. He looked terrible in preseason too. Hope he turns it around
  16. Allen Cook Shakir Bass Rousseau Douglas Lewis Honorable mention for Miller who showed he can still play
  17. Word in the stadium is fractured forearm for Taron
  18. How do you allow ball to be kicked OOB and let them get ball at the 40???
  19. Refs let's them play at the end. A couple close calls they let go And yes McDermott did nothing in this game to show he has learned anything
  20. Will McD call the defense TO?
  21. Anyone think they should have declined the too many men on the field and taken 2nd and 1? They could have burned 40 sec more c
  22. McDumbass thought he could get a repeat of what happened at end of first half. He is just a terrible coach.
  23. It wasn't the wind. Bass did only a 4 yard run up. He was told to kick it short. McDermott is a loser
