  1. They are good but not great players. I would pay Bernard and Benford for sure if you can get them at a reasonable cost. Rousseau will be interesting. Can't stay healthy but still young. Would love to see him get double digit sacks and keep him. Need to see it happen first.
  2. White, Miller, Milano, Dawkins, and Knox will all liiely come off the books by then end of 2025. Maybe Bass too if he continues to stink. Who do the need to extend? Rousseau, Bernard, and Benford maybe and all of them are replaceable. Pay the man next year!
  3. $200M guaranteed is so stupid. Is he even a top 5 QB in the AFC? I'd take Allen, Mahomes, Herbert, Burrow, Jackson, Tua, and Stroud over Lawrence.
  4. He's a very good GM - ss good as Butler but not yet in the Polian stratosphere. I have been more impressed with most of his moves in FA - both signing other players, getting guys to take pay cuts, and getting guys to re-sign, than his draft picks. If Oliver is his second best pick that's pretty poor given not a single ProBowl for a top 10 pick. However there is a good chance by the end of this year we will be debating if Kincaid and/or Torrence are better than Oliver. As others have said Taron Johnson is probably his most impactful pick outside of Allen. My least favorite moves were drafting Oliver, drafting Epenesa and then re-signing him, and worst of all was not trading for Miller in 2021. Benjamin trade did not work out but I supported it at the time. All said if Cleveland or the Jets take Allen he would have been out of a job two years ago.
  5. Coleman is so slow he needs to run routes against coaches to get open....ugh I kid. I kid
  6. By all reports Siriani is a prick. When you win nobody cares. When you lose it all starts to come out.
  7. 90% of these updates are from guys who may not even make the PS.
  8. Foot injury and he was a drunk
  9. Exaclty. 80 yards to the house on the first play!!!
  10. You are asking people to project and compare him to all time greats when he has only played 2 years. Tough ask. Agree the fumbles and drops need to get better. FYI Christian McCaffrey fumbled 4 times last year too.
  11. You forgot Cribbs. He was special. Right now Cook probably is just ahead of Greg Bell and Spiller(one year wonder). By the end of this year he should surpass McGahee and Henry if they continue to feed him the ball in run and pass game. He has a long long way to go to get in the top 5 ( Thomas, Simpson, McCoy, Gilchrist, and Cribbs). Let's just hope he is not a one year wonder like Spiller and Terry Miller.
  12. We know all about McDermott. 13 seconds and Hamlin incident define him. He is by all accounts a good human being and a good leader. He just fails as a coach in the most inopportune times. As anyone, he can still rewrite the script but only a Lombardi will change that As for Allen you are correct. He will need to elevate the game of most of the other players on offense. He is going to need to be patient with Brady and others as they fit this group together. His 110 reception security blanket is gone. He needs to be patient and get the ball to guys in position to make plays. He needs to run less and save his body for the late season and playoffs.
  13. Jesus guys... Can't we agree McDermott's late game defense sucks AND Allen played horribly in a few games that the defense gave away - Jets and Broncos. He was brilliant in the Eagles game but McDermott's defense lost the game twice - I will be fair in that it took a miraculous kick to tie the game though.
  14. Allen is amazing! Best QB in Bills history and is on pace to be a HOF player. But he turns the ball over too much. Sorry if you don't believe that but it's true. He leads the league in turnovers since he came into the league. Granted that is a bit misleading too as many other worse players simply are not playing over that time. Everything in the OP is true. Allen makes all those amazing plays. Problem is there is no relative weighting in your argument. One INT is not canceled by one great play or one TD. Allen probably needs to make three, four, or more great plays to overcome one turnover. The turnover ratio in a game is still one of the most predictive stats in NFL. Lose the turnover battle and most of the time you lose the game. One other point not brought up. Red zone turnovers. I think Allen didn't have a red zone turnover for what his first 3 years. He was incredible in the redzone. However, he has had several in the last two years. I'm not advocating he lose his aggressive nature. But four less picks this year might be the difference between another division title or missing the playoffs.
  15. There are definitely some strongly held beliefs on this forum. There are people on here that think Reich was better than Kelly. The Flutie Jonhson debate could still get 100 pages easily God forbid you criticize McDermott on here. 7 seasons, 6 mostly successful but no championships and not even a AFC Championship game in the last two years. Losing record in the playoffs. Some of us would have been fien moving on from him after 13 seconds, others think he can do no wrong. Pretty certain almost everyone agrees OJ was a great athlete and a despicable guilty double murderer person.
  16. UGH...Southwest is only slightly better that Spirit. Spend the extra cash and fly Delta if at all possible or American if you have to.
  17. Detroit is closer to Cleveland than Buffalo. I was in the SilverDome in the past but not the new stadium. Will go to Detroit for sure. Probably Colts game as well. Seattle is still a great city. You will have fun. Stadium is loud. Stadium food is good. Check out Pike Place Market and do the underground tour. Seattle is still great. And yes Stadium is just south of downtown. Easy walk from a downtown hotel.
  18. Agree! Start the best 5. If SVPG is just as good or almost as good as McGovern and McGovern is better than Edwards then it should be SVPG from week 1. Why waste a year. The kid played a ton of snaps at Georgia. He should be plug and play. Dorian Williams - love Milano but he is coming off a bad injury. Would like to see Williams at least split time with Milano early. They need to know if he can play in case they need to part ways with Milano after this year.
  19. High would be one way to put it... They had two young potential HOF players in Gooden and Strawberry that drank and snorted their greatness away.
  20. This was going to be my choice. They had not one but two HOF QBs I don't think it has been mentioned yet. UCLA Basketball under John Wooden. He had Alcindor and Walton. Arguably the two greatest big men in college basketball history.
  21. Healthy aging Von will be vastly more productive than AJE this year.
  22. 100% agree! Guardians are 20 games over 0.500 and this stupid town is talking more about OTAs and a sexual predator's shoulder. Worst trade in NFL history and they just gave the GM an extension.
  23. Hard to really define a back-up any more with all the multiple sets Robb Riddick Kenneth Davis Don Beebe Jerry Butler after the knee injury Wyatt Teller (too soon?) Ryan Bates/Mongo - both were versatile C/G backups Ed Jones/Art Still played opposite Bruce - not sure how often they started vs came in as backups
  24. Only $1.1 M of Hollins salary is guaranteed and $500k of that has already been paid. So only would be another $600K to cut him. I wouldn't call that a lock.
