  1. Bryan Cox Bill Romanowski Vince Wolfork Ray Lewis Can I add Thurman Thomas while in a Dolphins uniform??? He's my favorite player of all-time and it broke my heart to see him play elsewhere.
  2. Bills play only two linebackers more than any team in the league. Dorian Williams has crazy good speed. If he can learn to play under control he can be a very good starter at either OLB or MLB. I was a massive skeptic of Bernard but he made more plays in half a season than Edmunds did in 5 years. Can he keep it up? We will see. At this point we can only hope about Milano. 10 days to camp and we haven't heard much of an update. I'm starting to worry this guy's injury was catastrophic and we might not see him play again.
  3. Pass rusher. Has to be. Miller probably is gone after this season and Rousseau has been very good but not great. Great QBs should elevate good WRs. Much harder to generate pass rush without winning 1:1 matchups. An elite pass rusher transforms this defense.
  4. Can't believe more people are not mentioning Tarkenton. He is still 7th all time on QB rush yards playing only 14 game schedule. Another guy I missed is Russell Wilson. He's 3rd all time in QB rush yards behind only Vick and Newton. Even watching him up close all those years I never thought of him as a running QB. I don't recall many designed runs for him. He was more escape artist than runner to me. But the yards don't lie. Also it's interesting that almost all of us have Elway on the short list yet he is 12th in all time rush yards. Perhaps we're are biasd by his first few years and that run in the SuperBowl.
  5. Fun I exercise I got https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbsnews.com/amp/miami/news/florida-man-makes-snack-robbing-taco-bell/
  6. He will get in. Two time SB winner. He's a virtual lock with how they are voting lately. He's on my list of guys that shouldn't make it however. He was mediocre for many years but made some great plays in the biggest moments.
  7. If you are going by NFL recognition then the debate is not even close. Thurman was a top 3 RB in his era with Smith and Sanders and if you were a Total yards from Scrimmage guy then he was the absolute best. Thomas was a league MVP in 1991. He was first team All-pro twice and 2nd team three times. Kelly never was top 3 in his own era. Kelly was first team All-Pro just once abd only second team once. You can make a good case he was not even top 5 with Elway, Marino, Young, and Aikman all either better or winning more championships. Kelly was great for Buffalo and the K-gun but he was terrible in the playoffs. Thurman was what made that offense amazing.
  8. If you allow OJ then it is Smith OJ Thomas Allen
  9. Love Buffalo wings. Favorite is from Sunny’s in Lockport. But the best wings I’ve ever had were from Pok Pok in Portland. If you have never had Thai fish sauce wings and you get a chance please go outside your comfort zone and try them. Amazing sweetness and heat combined!
  10. Tarkenton Elway Young Staubach Allen Jackson Vick
  11. What do people think about Hines Ward? I hated him as a player. He cheap -shotted guys on crack back blocks a lot. He's on some lists as a guy that should be in HOF. He's a solid no for me but that's partly emotions too. What say others?
  12. I've long argued Marv doesn't belong. I was shocked at the time that he was voted in. I still think he doesn't belong. That said one time winners like Brian Billick don't belong either just for winning it once. Tom Flores waited far too long. A guy like Coryell never even made a SuperBowl but was more impactful on the game than Levy was. Here is an equally odd argument. I'd argue Tom Coughlin warrants HOF more than Eli Manning. I suspect both will get in but I think Coughlin deserves it and Eli does not.
  13. I liked Conlan back in the day. He's my brothers favorite player. I'd still take my listed three over him any day. Just think those three made more plays than Conlan did. You could add Spikes to that list as well. If Cowart didn't get injured he looked like he was going to be great.
  14. No reasonable person thinks Lamar Jackson is better than Josh Allen. No matter how many awards he may or may not win. However there are many people that think Jackson is a terrible QB. Those people are wrong.
  15. At this point you just leave several spots blank for TE. Warlock is the only guy that is even in the discussion. As for Jeff Wright, he doesn't belong on any list unless if has something to do with mustaches. Will be controversial but Marcell Dareus was a better player than Wright ever was. No idea how he left Pat Williams off the list.
  16. Milano is better player than Conlan ever was. In fact I'd list Sam Cowart and London Fletcher over Conlan. Nice to see Talley not make the list.
  17. As you know I'm not a fan of special teams but to deny that they have an impact on the game is nonsense as well. The HOF is as much about the players as it is the history of the game. It's hard to near impossible to talk about the evolution of the NFL without talking about how the original special teams expert changed the game. So in that context I would vote Tasker in. If you are just going off of talent alone however then I would not vote Tasker in. For those that should be in on talent: Jim Marshall Clay Matthews Reggie Wayne Otis Taylor Sterlin Sharpe I would also vote Dick LeBeau in again as a coach. He already is in as a player. I can't think of any other coach. They finally got Flores and Coryell inducted. For those I would remove, there are several. There are so many guys that are in the good to great category but are not truly elite. As of late it seems much more watered down. All of the following would be removed and I would be fine with it Steve McMichael Patrick Willis Rhonde Barber Zach Thomas LeRoy Butler John Lynch Brian Dawkins Kurt Warner Marv Levy Lynn Swann
  18. I've only lived in Cleveland for under two years but the number of people saying he is a raging alcoholic is overwhelming. The Browns organization wants nothing to do with him. Local radio almost never have him on. Even the QCKinetics scam advertisers stopped using him. It's sad but moslty self inflicted. Maybe he drank because of CTE and pain or maybe he was just an alcoholic. Parkinson's is usually a progressive horrible disease. Early stages it would be hard to distinguish from liver failure. Both can produce tremors. If he truly had Parkinsons that might make him ineligible for liver Transplant.
  19. Yeah I hear ya. I have Rice #1 Brady #2 Montana #3 and LT #4. I agree you could make an argument for Brown as the GOAT. You are correct about the Browns. One of only a very few franchises with no SuperBowl appearances let alone wins. Lol and the Titans don't count for the Oilers. Their QB history since they came back in the league is actually worse than the Bills during the drought.
  20. All of these players are good. That's why it would be a surprise. I'm fine putting the best five out there. I never thought Morse lived up to his contract. He was 10-15 guy at best never a top 5 guy even though at one point he was paid top dollar. So I have no issue with them moving McGovern to C or giving the rookie a shot. However if Van Pran is good enough to start 3 years in the SEC, he might be a long term answer at C. And if that happens that opens up all kinds of possibilities for the roster.
  21. For every 100 or more guys this regime has appropriately parted ways with there will always be Wyatt Teller. I fear cutting Elam could be the next version of Teller. He flashes talent at times. Hopefully last year was more about the foot injury and he can really push Benford for the starting job.
  22. Yeah I guess I equate those two(cut/trade) in a question like this. You are correct he could probably get a 7th for him or a capable backup RB in the very very rare player for player trade.
  23. Irrelevant is an interesting term. Jim Brown is on the very short list of best player of all time. Ozzie Newsome is on the list of best TEs of all time. Probably still top 5 in talent. He would be a superstar in this era. Can't tell the story of the NFL in the 80's without The Drive and The Fumble. Relevant yes. Winning not so much.
  24. Remember this would be a surprise.. David Edwards If Van Pran proves capable to play center, them McGovern stays at LG. I like Anderson to be the backup inside as he can also play Center. Collins is the utility knife that can play extra OT in heavy sets and can back up both OT and OG spots.
  25. Is anybody really doubting Allen in the playoffs? I mean even the most staunch McD defenders have to be willing to admit Allen has carried them in the playoffs and the defense has collapsed repeatedly.
