  1. I believe you. It's obvious it dated back to the Bengals loss at least. Relationship with Allen fell apart and McDermott made it worse with his I'm concerned comments. Im of course biased because I think McDermott is a fraud and I think it was terrible decision to trade Diggs.
  2. Paraphrasing John Madden, when you have 5 starting WRs you have no starting WRs
  3. Interesting point. He's top 2 Nickel in the league and arguably the best. With all the other positions including probably at least one kicker, not sure any nickel CB will make top 100. He's better than most starting outside corners in the league.
  4. Cook should be a top 100 guy. He finished 3rd in all purpose yards for a RB. Yes he needs to decrease his drops but he is far far from one dimensional
  5. 18 games, two bye weeks, and 1 or zero pre-season games. Expand the rosters to 58 and let them all dress on game day. Get rid of the emergency QB rules. 10 man practice squad. COVID proved Pre-season is useless. I would not play my starters a single snap of preseason football. One last rule... change the salary cap. Have one cap for a single QB, and another for the other 57 guys.
  6. Yes but in four of those losses the offense left the field with the lead and the Defense and Special Teams blew it - Jets, Broncos, Patriots, and Eagles(twice). It took a miracle no-call against the Giants for the defense to not blow another lead. All but one of those teams have terrible offenses. McD's defense choked away multiple games. Same story every year. His defense pads their stats against bad teams and can't stop the better ones. I will give him his credit as he does seem to be able to stop the Dolphins most of the time.
  7. I was a huge skeptic. He looked awful his rookie year in limited duty. In one half of a season last year, he made more plays than Edmunds made in five years at MLB.
  8. Schedule is pretty easy. They get Bears x 2, Giants, Cards, Falcons, Colts, and Titans. Rams Jags Seahawks and Packers x 2. They might not be favored to win any of those games but they probably win a few of them My guess 5-12 and finish 3rd in NFL. Panthers (2-15) and Raiders(4-13) will be worst and second worst.
  9. So many to choose from but I'm going to mention a couple not mentioned yet. First was breaking Marino TD streak. When Strock came off the bench to relieve Marino the crowd knew exactly what they were seeing! Bills v Broncos 1987 Corenlius Bennett's first game. I was at the game. The crowd went crazy when Biscuit entered the game. First play he chased Elway out of the pocket. Later in the game they lined up Bennett behind Bruce and Elway saw it and called TO.
  10. Actually that is not true. There were no punts but each defense forced three turnovers. Kelly and Young each threw an INT. Bills forced three fumbles recovering two and 49ers forced and recovered two fumbles.
  11. Bears were gifted the first overall. They could have kept Fields, traded down and gotten MHJr, and another boat load of picks. They could have let Fields walk and sign Wilson or another vet. Williams wasn't even that good at USC. He is going to be a bust. They screwed up big time
  12. I try to get to one home and one away game every year. No matter the cost and inconvenience it still is fun. I only watch on TV in my home.
  13. 100% agree! Bills could do so much more especially with alt helmets and uniforms. Fan base would love it!
  14. Yeah you can make that argument. I do think having guys from different eras is worthy too. NFL has evolved so much and one way of looking at it is who was the best in their respective eras. Then you try to rank order their relative dominance compared to others. Newton took such a beating both In and out of the pocket. No doubt it ruined his career.
  15. Makes sense if you are the Raiders. They have worst QB situation in the league.
  16. Fair. My bigger ommission was Cam Newton. He was a better passer than Cunningham, Jackson, and Vick.
  17. Bryan Cox Bill Romanowski Vince Wolfork Ray Lewis Can I add Thurman Thomas while in a Dolphins uniform??? He's my favorite player of all-time and it broke my heart to see him play elsewhere.
  18. Bills play only two linebackers more than any team in the league. Dorian Williams has crazy good speed. If he can learn to play under control he can be a very good starter at either OLB or MLB. I was a massive skeptic of Bernard but he made more plays in half a season than Edmunds did in 5 years. Can he keep it up? We will see. At this point we can only hope about Milano. 10 days to camp and we haven't heard much of an update. I'm starting to worry this guy's injury was catastrophic and we might not see him play again.
  19. Pass rusher. Has to be. Miller probably is gone after this season and Rousseau has been very good but not great. Great QBs should elevate good WRs. Much harder to generate pass rush without winning 1:1 matchups. An elite pass rusher transforms this defense.
  20. Can't believe more people are not mentioning Tarkenton. He is still 7th all time on QB rush yards playing only 14 game schedule. Another guy I missed is Russell Wilson. He's 3rd all time in QB rush yards behind only Vick and Newton. Even watching him up close all those years I never thought of him as a running QB. I don't recall many designed runs for him. He was more escape artist than runner to me. But the yards don't lie. Also it's interesting that almost all of us have Elway on the short list yet he is 12th in all time rush yards. Perhaps we're are biasd by his first few years and that run in the SuperBowl.
  21. Fun I exercise I got https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbsnews.com/amp/miami/news/florida-man-makes-snack-robbing-taco-bell/
  22. He will get in. Two time SB winner. He's a virtual lock with how they are voting lately. He's on my list of guys that shouldn't make it however. He was mediocre for many years but made some great plays in the biggest moments.
  23. If you are going by NFL recognition then the debate is not even close. Thurman was a top 3 RB in his era with Smith and Sanders and if you were a Total yards from Scrimmage guy then he was the absolute best. Thomas was a league MVP in 1991. He was first team All-pro twice and 2nd team three times. Kelly never was top 3 in his own era. Kelly was first team All-Pro just once abd only second team once. You can make a good case he was not even top 5 with Elway, Marino, Young, and Aikman all either better or winning more championships. Kelly was great for Buffalo and the K-gun but he was terrible in the playoffs. Thurman was what made that offense amazing.
  24. If you allow OJ then it is Smith OJ Thomas Allen
  25. Love Buffalo wings. Favorite is from Sunny’s in Lockport. But the best wings I’ve ever had were from Pok Pok in Portland. If you have never had Thai fish sauce wings and you get a chance please go outside your comfort zone and try them. Amazing sweetness and heat combined!
