  1. It's the worst Bills helmet I've seen. So hoping to see red helmet with blue face mask for one game this year.
  2. What does it matter? It's not guaranteed money and like you said once you cut him he can sign with anyone he wants to. This!
  3. OP you forgot Allen missing a wide open Diggs for what would have been an 80 yard TD.
  4. First rule of sarcasm, you have to get your facts correct...lol
  5. Look no further than your Bills team. Both Hyde and Poyer were drafted as CBs. Rod Woodson and Ronnie Lott are the two most obvious. Both had HOF careers at both positions. Woodson was a better CB and Lott a better safety.
  6. True that. Same for Logan Thomas who went from 4th sting QB to starting TE. The counter of course is Rod Woodson went from HOF CB to a HOF safety. Aeneas Williams made a ProBowl as a safety.
  7. You and everyone knows it's not the same team game it was. It really is a QB and 52 other guys. No QB and the other 52 really don't matter.
  8. Still believe when all is said and done Hyde is signed after week 1
  9. Don't understand why people criticize others for reasonable suggestions. There are numerous players that have changed positions during their careers. And it's particularly odd considering both Hyde and Poyer were drafted as CBs. Aaron Williams moved to safety. George Wilson moved from WR to safety
  10. If Elam wins starting CB job then you start to train Benford for safety and keep Douglas at CB. One reason to move Benford to safety is he would be much cheaper to extend than if you had to pay him as a CB.
  11. Beane freed up a bunch of cap space for 2025. Hopefully he doesn’t waste it on a long term deal for Cook. If Rousseau plays well they will need to pay him. Keepimg Cook with the tag like Giants did then letting him walk would be better move.
  12. I wonder if the same holds true for pass rushers. Are those that line up outside RT less represented in the HOF than guys like Smith who lined up outside LT most of the time. I know they can move around but I've never even thought about it in this way
  13. Brady and Mahommes won a ton of games with an elite TE and spreading the ball around. Diggs was one of my favorites but there are multiple ways to move the ball if you have an elite QB. Also let's not forget that this team can be a top 5 rushing team if they commit to it.
  14. There are several genetic conditions that predispose people to clots Factor V Anti-thrombin III Protein C and S Lupus anticoagulant And there are probably several more we haven't discovered yet If just a DVT and no pulmonary embolism and no genetic cause you can treat for 3 months then stop though I usually do a minimum of 6 months.
  15. You are thinking backwards. You should only be concerned if our RBs can't consistently beat OLB coverage. I'm not trying to be flippant. Milano is a great zone coverage LB. Very few linebackers can keep up with NFL RBs in man coverage.
  16. Agree! Knox is one of my favorites. But even I jumped off the bandwagon with that drop that would have iced Giants game. Hope they both have monster years!!!
  17. What does being a fav person have to do with catching the football? Josh said the same things about Kumerow I know he had one breakout season in an otherwise nondescript career. He's 30 years old, supposedly excellent blocker, has a guaranteed cheap contract and probably makes the team as a 6th WR role player. He's a more credible threat in pass game than Kumerow was but in the end he is a back of the roster guy that won't make many plays. He will get a bunch of snaps as a blocking WR. No I don't. Going from 8th to 6th on the depth chart? I seriously have no idea what he means by an ascending 30 year old WR who had a 70% drop off in production from 2022 to 2023.
  18. My surprise cut will be Cam Lewis. This guy never makes a play. I know they brought him back but if the kid from Utah can start that means he is the fourth safety on the team. And if Elam can push Benford for reps then you can get rid of Lewis and let Benford play safety in the dime package.
  19. Just need to check. Ascending means going up right? His best year was 2022 and that was a complete outlier season. In every other season including 2023 he had less than 20 catches. He is 30 years old. Isn't that the age when WR break down? I think he will make the team and my guess is he will be a better version of what Kumerow was. He will catch 10-15 balls and be an elite blocking WR. Valuable player on the team but little to no impact in passing game.
  20. How is Hollins ascending? He's this years Kumerow. He will offer next to nothing in pass game. What's wrong with a group of big WRs for a change? Larger catch radius and maybe better chance at 50/50 balls. Shakir and Samuel are fine in the smaller WR role. All that said if it came down to MVS vs Claypool I think I'd take my chances on a reborn Claypool. Hopefully they keep both. I'd rather they keep an extra WR and carry one less safety. They can sign Hyde in a heart beat if they get thin at safety during the year.
  21. There is nothing less important than training camp news. I tune out all of this nonsense. 90% of this board can accurately predict 50 of the 53 final roster guys right now.
  22. Amen 🙏 Pure speculation He was benched in Pittsburgh for a guy so bad they got rid of him too Right or wrong QB2 is just a calculated risk you have to take. If Allen misses even two games the season is lost. Hell the season was almost lost when he was playing with a sore shoulder.
  23. Honest question. How can you possibly say that? He has never played a meaningful snap in Buffalo.
  24. Lol...I was paraphrasing. Madden said it about having two QBs, meaning you don't have a star. Bills don't have a star WR but you are correct, if designed and executed well the offense can be very difficult to defend. You chose an interesting word though. Match-up. At some point the players still need to win one on one match ups. Diggs did that with aplomb. There are multiple guys if positioned well that should be able to win matchups. Shakir should beat most average slot corners. Kincaid and Knox can beat even the best linebackers and probably most safeties. Cook can beat any coverage. Samuel is a work in progress. What I am a little worried about is who is the guy that makes a play when Josh scrambles. That was commonly Diggs and Davis. Josh found them often. Will be interesting to see who he finds when the play breaks down.
