  1. He's a punter. If it was another position yes but no media nightmare like that is worth it for a punter. I advocated for cutting him then and I'm not going to retrospectively criticize McD and Beane now. They've made far worse decisions than cutting a punter.
  2. Facts don't matter in this board Wasn't Davis fumbling in training camp too?
  3. Omg This would be a dumb idea even in Madden
  4. So you want to trade one of the only two day 2 picks that have amounted to anything under Beane for another pick?? Are you just intent on wasting this season for 2025? While I do subscribe to the fact RBs are disposable, you still need them on your team. Use him for his entire contract then move on. Hope you find someone just as good two years from now.
  5. Beane knew he was going to have cap space in 2025. This was the draft to give up next years #1 and go up and get a star WR. I hated the Diggs move but that #2 from Houston via Minnesota plus there own #2 will be good enough to reload at edge and CB next year. This was the year to go get your Jefferson type WR. I've been consistent. I don't care about consistently winning. Losing at home in the playoffs is just as bad as not making it. They blew their best shot with 13 seconds and wasted Josh's rookie contract. I watched four SuperBowl runs already. Only care about a Championship now.
  6. Don't disagree with what you posted. I just disagree with the approach. We should be win now at all costs. Not waiting for a WR to develop. Again if the idea is spread the ball around and attack with multiple guys it can work. Josh and Brady just need to execute that type of offense.
  7. Lol, something like that. Was it Madden that said it first?
  8. 12 - Kincaid, Knox, Coleman, and a mix of Samuel/Shakir 12 wrinkle - line up Samuel in the backfield and go Kincaid, Knox, Coleman, and Hollins. Then motion Samuel out. If they catch them in man coverage it's a TD 12 wrinkle 2 - Kincaid, Knox, Samuel, and MVS. Cook or Davis in the backfield. This set will be lethal. They can run WR deep and the TEs will be open underneath. If they play man you have some guys that can win some 1:1 deep shots. And last you have multiple screen options out of this group 3 WR - any combo plus Shakir. Shakir is going to be amazing out of the 3 WR set. He can play the Brown or Beasley role interchangeably. He has enough quickness and enough speed to go short, middle, or deep. He will be the 3rd down chain mover.
  9. Honestly you should get a month suspension from the board every time you post White was drafted by Beane. First part of ability is availability... I thought he was dinged up his rookie year too but it says he started all 17 games Still only 24. Missed a college season due to COvID. He can still be a star.
  10. 21-30 is oddly specific. I criticized Edmunds quite a bit but he made two probowls at pick 16. Anyways Rousseau and Kincaid have good shot at making a ProBowl in the next few years.
  11. I agree but it's not like he has been lighting up camp either. I'm not dismissing him at all. Obviously we have to wait and see. I thought Bernard was going to be a bust. I don't subscribe to the idea you need a dominant WR to win. I think they can be a great offense spreading the ball around and running the ball. In a way not having a guy that can get deep and having an effective rush game may make other teams play more single high safeties. If that is the case Allen will eat that up with intermediate to deep passes to Kimcaid, Knox, and Shakir all day.
  12. Agree. But don't fret we have a safety from Utah that will make all the difference
  13. Terrible pass. Could have been caught but still God awful pass. Just hitting the hands is not enough if the ball is wobbling Iike a dead duck. That said, so far Coleman has done little to assuage our worries that he is not a gamebreaker and not much more than a possession WR. If that is all he ends up really poor job by Beane to upgrade the WR group. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
  14. It's cyclical. A few years ago it was the WR group and the OL with injuries
  15. Very little to show for the investment Oliver is very good but not a top 10 talent Rousseau has been injured and inconsistent. He still could be great. Epenesa is terrible. Basham gone. Carter will take a few years to develop. Edmunds was good but again for a first round pick he disappointed. Bernard was a revelation last season. Have to see if he can repeat the performance. Williams hopefully steps up this year. Love his speed and hitting ability All this draft capital and they still had to spend millions on Miller,Jones, and Settle.
  16. It doesn't. It's stupid old school thinking. Blame the QB for a crap pass.
  17. MVS and Claypool out. Not revisionist history when most of us wanted Beane to draft two WRs. Instead we have a safety that is broken already and a back up DT. But we have a guy that walks in bare feet, has long hair, and is a team cheerleader... Oh man this could get ugly .... Hope Kincaid, Shakir, Cook, and Samuel can carry this group
  18. It's obvious he sucks yet Beane and McDermott brought him back...same guys that cut Teller, started Peterman, and signed a guy that quit at halftime. I mean seriously wtf
  19. Nfl network in Cleveland is showing Dolphins game... Oh well
  20. Who is worse, Jones or the stupid GM that gave him a contract extension?
  21. I'm on call tonight so I may watch this game. I'm really only interested in three people. I want to see how Coleman looks against NFL corners. I want to see VanPran hopefully go against at least the Steelers 2nd team. If I was McDermott I would have started VanPran this game and see what he can do. Lastly I want to see Solomon 1:1 pass rushing Try that throw against Bernard and it will be a pick six
  22. 100% agree. We don't even know if Milano can play anymore coming off the leg/knee injury. If Williams is playing great then keep playing him and let Milano go this offseason.
  23. Never. It's not the starting QBs job to mentor his replacement. I'm fine with drafting a project QB every other year or so and see if you strike gold.
  24. Umm a significant number of the national media has decided the Bills window has closed. I'm not saying they are correct, but even casually paying attention to national coverage you can sense that many are down on the Bills. It stareted with the purge of Poyer, Morse, White, and Hyde, and worsened when they didn't get a top WR in the draft, and then came to a head when they moved on from Diggs. All the positive energy is around the Chiefs, 49ers, Lions, Packers, and Texans now. Bills are not alone. The national media is down on Dallas, Philadelphia, Minnesota, and the bottom feeders like Raiders, Panthers, and Broncos
  25. There is a lot of negative energy surrounding this team right now. It's no secret I want to move on from McDermott. But if he has a good quality it is rallying the team through adversity. I don't want to hear excuses though. Im tired of it every year. Just win. I have faith in Allen. I think this is the year he wins MVP. He will cut his turnovers down and be an assassin in the red zone. Cook might be his stiffest competition for MVP as I think he goes for 1750 combined yards. No WR or TE will catch more than 80 passes but I think 5 guys will have over 50 ( Kincaid 75, Knox 52, Shakir 79, Samuel 55 +20 rushes, and Cook 64), with Coleman getting about 40. If Allen plays all year, Bills go 5-1 in the division and win AFC East with record of 12-5. Whether it would happen or not is doubtful, I would fire McDermott for anything less than a SuperBowl appearance. He's already wasted the best years of QB play in franchise history. I would let Belichick and his new girlfriend take over in 2025. Beane gets one last off-season with cap room to maneuver. No Championship by 2025 and he goes too.
