  1. I don’t understand the negativity around this pick. Draft all the weapons you want, if your QB is running for his life on every play, and the defense keeps stacking the box because you can’t protect, what good is DK Metcalf? What good is any skill player or QB? Not one team has ever won anything without a talented OLine. Grow up, watch the game with the rest of the men, and stop pouting.
  2. I’m so pumped for this defense. Finally this organization is being run the right way
  3. I sincerely hope this is true. Measurables are beautiful to watch, but the game film doesn’t lie. Harry is an all around prototype WR. In this offense you need a player who can do it all, along with guys who can stretch the field AND move the chains. Brown Foster Beasley Jones do that. What we don’t have is a big bodied do it all. N’Keal Harry is that guy.
  4. After the OL signings, I’m ok with Metcalf. I’d prefer N’Keal Harry, but not at 9.
  5. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH *catches breath* BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
  6. No cliches, just stating the facts on what he brings. Thanks for offering only snark instead of actual discourse.
  7. Because he’s a players player. He’s a workout machine, he’s an ace in the room, and he leads by example. Hes a process guy through and through.
  8. I’d rather extend him than pay home whatever the rate is for an Edge on a 5th year deal.
  9. I feel like a full season in the new training facility is going to make a world of difference for A LOT of players, especially Murphy. Liked what i saw from him last year. The whole line seemed to play faster and with intensity when he was on the field. Not sure how to quantify that with stats, but it was definitely something i saw consistently.
  10. Never. Not once. Not when my son was born and a Giants fan yelled “wide right” down the hallway of the hospital. Not it when i had the Jets logo shaved into my head after that god awful Thursday Night loss. Not after any super bowl. Never.
  11. Some people think that the 1 team race for Le’Veon Bell was the key to the off-season. People who pay atttention to headlines and not the details, will find this to be truth.
  12. This is fantastic news! Continue to build a big name defense that will definitely disappoint AND will cost WAY to much money in about 3 seasons. All hail Beane!
  13. The Yankees are a bad example in this particular instance. They want to pay their own players when it’s time. They’ll have $600 million between 2 players when Judge needs to be signed. $1.1 Billion is a lot of money, but how much of that is going to actually be paid to the players? Far less than what will be paid to baseball players with fully guaranteed contracts.
  14. The only way to change the perception of the team is to win. That’s it. Green Bay is just as depressing and miserable of a place as Buffalo, but players will gladly go there because they (used) to win. If we want respect for our team, they have to earn it on the field. No more blowouts to the Ravens, no more Peterman’s. No more middling between 7-9 wins a year. Make a statement and players will play here.
  15. Why not? He played great all through the playoffs and the SB. His numbers were down, but he still played really well most of the season. Different role and he adapted to it.
  16. I like watching the Rams. I like their uniforms, i like their defense. I like Aaron Donald. They win, and they often play late games that i can watch after the wife and kids go to bed. Its easy to cheer for good teams. But if they were to play the Bills, it’s a no brainer.
  17. Personally, I’d like to see him develop the check down game more and extend drives that way. All he needs to do is rewatch this years Super Bowl to see the value in taking what the defense gives you.
  18. Precisely the reason you run the ball in the red zone and play the clock. That non-call was egregious, but that’s not why they lost the game. There was zero reason to pass the ball even one time, let alone three.
  19. How many times has everyone said it; to beat the Patriots you have to play perfect football. They dont make mistakes, and when they do, they overcome them.
  20. Oh boy. I wont disagree that he should’ve had more of role in preparing the defense, and that’s probably what led to his termination. But George Edwards and Dave Wanstedt were hires from outside of his comfort zone. The “hybrid thang” was the most embarrassing defense i have ever seen from the Bills. Regardless of his responsibilities as a HC, the coordinator bares more of a responsibility when it comes to game planning, preparation, in game adjustments, and scheme. If Gailey had any kind of defense, he would have been more successful here. If he had better players on either side of the ball, he would have been significantly more successful.
  21. He never had a defense. He had a GM and FO that was atrocious at evaluating talent. He was ahead of his time in terms of scheme and vision for the game. He had ZERO talent on his roster. I loved Gailey. His “you dog one of us, you dog us all” comment was on point. I would have loved to see what he could have done with Manuel. If only they would have given him a chance.
  22. I’m dying to know what made the click go off in his head. It’s hard to believe that Derek Anderson and Matt Barkley had THAT much influence over him, but it’s obviouksy a big part of the equation. This is the most excited ive been as a fan about the long term success of the team in what seems like my lifetime.
  23. Spot on take. Don’t admit that to the media. Take it up with your teammates or coaches, or family and friends. But the Buffalo News?? Bad look for Dawkins.
