Donte Whitner Aaron Maybin Whitner was a disgrace to the team, when the team was disgraceful. -
Ok. I still think that it’s dangerous to assume that someone who you do not know personally, is having a mental episode. You are right that he should have to wear a mask, especially when it’s given to you in notice and signage. But being frustrated with a dozen people yelling at you, does not constitute a mental episode. Considering the countless videos we have seen over the past year of people actually having episodes, this does not fit the same mold. Im not doubting that he has suffered brain trauma. I’m not doubting his words, or his wife’s words. What I am doubting, is the assertion by a poster on this message board, that Darryl Talley is having a mental episode, because he doesn’t want to wear a mask. At this point, I’m sorry i even responded.
-
Wait. So he doesn’t want to wear a mask on plane, and this is because of his mental health issues? Are you inferring that this incident is a result of mental illness? Because there are literally millions of people that don’t want to wear masks, and it has nothing to do with mental illness. It should also be noted that, Talley does not appear to be having a mental episode. In fact, he seems quite lucid. Is he frustrated and angry, yes, but the expression of frustration with clear terms, does not imply a state of mental crisis. Please try and refrain from unhelpful and narrative driving assumptions about another human beings mental state. It doesn’t help anyone.

Failure to adjust to playoff officiating
RobbRiddicksTDLeap replied to Captain Caveman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a great point. This is also one of those lessons that can only be learned on the field. And you either adjust to it, or you don’t. There isn’t enough veteran depth with playoff experience to share and let the guys know what to expect. Seeing Diggs on the field after the game, shows he gets it. -
This is so good. I love that there’s a National Voice for this team, that has the same passion for them as the rest of us.

I don’t think it’s spoiled, as much as the game is different now than the one these guys changed 15 years ago. It’s crazy to think that either one of these guys could play the game at the pace that Mahomes, Rodgers and Allen are playing right now. The offenses they run aren’t even close to the ones that the Chiefs, Packers, and Bills are running. Power run left? When was the last time we saw any kind of power run formation from the Bills. Brees and Brady are legends because they were the QB’s that were the Vanguards of the new Era. But they don’t have the athleticism to run a modern NFL offense.

The Bills Learned a Lot From Two Brutal Losses
RobbRiddicksTDLeap replied to JMF2006's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That AJ Klein neutral zone infraction stands out to me as the play that turned it all around. They were hyped up, getting run on, no is focused. Then that flag. The momentum shifted a bit in favor of the Ravens, and it seemed like this was it. Something clicked. You could tell that they started communicating better, and the defense took over. That’s the players coaching themselves on the field. I’ve seen that happen with my boys on the field, where even for a play or two, they get that it’s on them, and I think I love that the most about this defense, and this team. Mistakes have plagued this franchise for as long as we can all remember. Mistakes in the draft, with the coaches, contracts, management, concessions and parking. Uniforms. Not anymore. Finally, after decades, this franchise learns from its mistakes, and refuses to make them again. The Process really pays off. -
Jerry Hughes - Wall of Fame?

I want to say Yes, but that’s some hallowed ground. His value often goes unrecognized on stat sheets, but without him this defense would be lost. -
How bout that D
RobbRiddicksTDLeap replied to BrainwashedBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Aggressive! It was awesome to see the coaching staff have confidence to let them get after Jackson. Everything turned around after that AJ Klein Offside. Which is great to see. That’s a well coached team that took the field today, and it showed. -
Why are we so bad covering the TE?
RobbRiddicksTDLeap replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Taron Johnson has no business covering a guy who is 10 inches taller and 80lbs heavier. It doesn’t matter how good he is against the run, or against a shifty slot guy. He has no business running with a TE. I’d rather see Hyde or Milano shadowing, than watching Taron Johnson get beat up the seams another play. -

How Good or Bad was our Defense,Really?
RobbRiddicksTDLeap replied to Buffaloflash's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The three passes to the sideline at the end of the game were atrocious. There was no actual effort or play design. Not sure if it’s on Rivers or Reich, but 3 plays in a row where you just sail the ball out of bounds, is unacceptable in the NFL. They needed 11 for a first down, and maybe 15-17 yards for a FG? The Bills Defense did a good job i suppose of defending the sidelines, but if you’re the QB, you’ve got to do something better than that. -
This is such a great thread. I live in Long Island, and my 8 year old was laughed at when he said “Josh Allen” as the best QB in football 2 years in school. Not anymore. What a great feeling! I remember the tailgating and the parties and the food, and the yelling and that awesome feeling of pride mixed with joy. Im so excited to have that with my kids. He did tell my wife that he doesn’t like that I yell so loud, but whatever.

The colts fumble that was not called
RobbRiddicksTDLeap replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I said this exact same thing to my wife. In the regular season, absolutely. Not in the playoffs though. The problem with it, is how transparent it is. And how stupid they think we are about the game we invest so much time and money into. As if we aren’t smart enough to know the rules. How many of us have been “making the call with AT&T” our whole lives. Thankfully, we have a team and coaching staff, that doesn’t allow themselves to be defeated by calls like this. -
What Did Indy do on D?
RobbRiddicksTDLeap replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a good point. But all those yards were hard fought. We haven’t seen that in a few weeks. We haven’t seen consistent pressure and sacks. We haven’t seen the middle of the field disappear for the offense. The Colts defense did a lot of things right today. Frank Reich and his analytics coaches on the other hand.
