Ahhhhh, so basically a long onsides kick? I kept trying to see who touched it, but i guess it didn’t matter because it wasn’t waved off. Smart heads up play by Washington.

Considering there was no replay of the turnover, I was curious if anyone knows exactly what happened on that play? I have no idea who made contact, and how no Bills player could get to the ball. Sorry Mods, if this is overblown on the board.

I just watched it again… still made me laugh real hard. “And Corey Davis has no hops!” so matter of fact, i just love it -

It’s the worst. At least the seasons that the Bills were terrible, I never dreamed of talking about how the good the George Edwards hybrid defense was going to be. Or, how the potent Turk Schonert offense was going to set records, league wide. These clowns on the other hand… -

I live on Long Island. It’s rotten with the worst fans of the worst teams in the NFL, save Philadelphia; which we all know is a trash town full of trash people. All day at work i have to listen them talk about how their team is GOING to be great, and then this… This kid gets it, and I love it. -
Picking up Edmunds Option a Rare Beane Mistake
RobbRiddicksTDLeap replied to Billy Zabka's topic in The Stadium Wall
The CLASSIC Paul Pozluzny Gambit. Fans want Butkus or Urlacher or Lewis, but the reality of the position is very different. Tremaine Edmunds is an excellent MLB. He didn’t stand out to us, because most of us aren’t paying attention to him filling running lanes, and forcing backs to the outside, unblocked defender. Sometimes they break out, and those “hugging players 8 yards downfield” is a 6’4” 250lb man, chasing down a RB. That’s impressive. If they don’t extend him, the defense will suffer, like it did when they replaced Poz, with Marcus Buggs. -

When he was smelling that bread…. -
But as we’ve seen for years and years, someone has to show Lawrence how it’s done, and more importantly, how it’s NOT done. If he is as good as as everyone says, then he should be ready to play an NFL game sooner than later. Throwing him to the wolves is a terrible idea for a kid who has no idea what an NFL pass rush looks like. Let’s not forget that Meyer hasn’t coached an NFL game either. If he really is the guy, then the 4 games he’s going to spend on the bench will be the best learning experience of his career.

What was your worst take ever?
RobbRiddicksTDLeap replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I loved Chan Gailey, and his offense; and the Goon Squad led by Stevie Johnson. I really thought they were going to put it all together. Then Donald Jones got flattened by Vince Wilfork, Stevie didn’t train in the off-season, and Fitz was, well, Fitz. I stand by my hatred of George Edwards, and his “hybrid thang” defense. -
Is Jerry Hughes a future Wall of Famer?
RobbRiddicksTDLeap replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fred Jackson deserves it because he was the best player on terrible teams; who’s previous best player was the punter. He held the team together for a long time. Same with Kyle Williams. Hughes is a good player, who got a nice second chance with the Bills, but he’s never been a real consistent game changer. Fan favorite for sure, but he’s never been the best player on this team, let alone the defensive unit. -

Not before Fred or Kyle... probably not after then either. -
I think if the modern day version of either of those ALL TIME GREATS were available to the Bills, I’m pretty sure McBeane would do everything in their power to sign them.... including having Edmunds pick them up at the airport. On the off chance that neither of them are available, then yes, Edmunds will do. Both he and the defense played better once his shoulder was healed. It’s hard to play full speed downhill and thump people, when your shoulder is busted up.

SI: The Unrivaled Arrival of Trevor Lawrence

Oh boy. He’s not going to last in the NFL. Physical skill gets you in the door, but you’ve got to have a mental attitude that is superior to that physical talent, to succeed over the length of a career. His mind is clearly elsewhere, and if he’s been like this since High School, highly unlikely that Urban “earn your water” Meyer, is going to change that. Best QB prospect in a decade? Not sure about that anymore after this article.
