  1. We made out. We get to play Miami instead of the Chargers, which we would have had to play, most likely, if we got the #1 seed. Yea, we have to play Cincy in the divisionals probably, but would have had to play them in Week 17 anyway in order to have the bye. So it's a push. We can't avoid them. We got our bye last week. Plus, if we had lost to Cincy in Week 17, we would have had to go there again in the divisionals, then to KC.
  2. ?? Yeah there are only 16 teams with the first 18 picks, but I think everyone knows what I meant. Plus, there were 18 distinct teams that the first 18 picks were ordered upon, 4 of which traded their right to those picks.
  3. Sure, KC deserves a bye. We got our bye, along with Cincy, in Week 17. Good enough for me. Let's keep our rhythm and win streak going (now at 7).
  4. Yeah, Belichick just confirmed he is back for 2023 (see my post just a little above).
  5. Also, the the Bills re-sign Case? And no way the Rams stick with Baker after what they invested in Stafford.

  7. Well, I am starting to look at our situation positively: 1. We get to play Cincy (if both teams win) at home. 2. We could have avoided Cincy if we were number 1, but then we would have still had to play them in Week 17. So we play them one way or another. 3. We don't get the bye, but we had our bye last week. 4. We could have lost to Cincy in Week 17, so playing KC at a neutral site might be a good thing. 5. Not getting a bye now means we don't lose rhythm. We have won 7 in a row.
  8. It's actually a common NFL celebration. I think the Pittsburgh guy was just clueless. Don't think he did it on purpose, or as a tribute.
  9. Yeah, the last time we drafted an offensive player on Day One (besides Josh) was in 2014, with Sammy Watkins.
  10. In Buffalo. Only if Buffalo and KC meet in the championship game will there be a neutral field. (And Baltimore will be playing at Cincy next week, with no coin flip needed (due to records)).
  11. "Buffalo Bills Biggest needs: OL, WR, LB EE [Eric Edholm]: The interior of the offensive line is an area we could absolutely see the Bills wanting to upgrade this offseason, both in terms of talent and depth. But will they use the draft to try to do that? Since GM Brandon Beane has taken over, they’ve not used a Day 1 or 2 pick on a projected guard or center. (2019 second-rounder Cody Ford was tried first at right tackle before being moved inside.)"
