  1. Yep...good one! Every tam I see the thread title, I think it's a typo for "playoffs".

  3. I don't watch ESPN all too often, so I wasn't sure whom you were referring to at first. So, on a whim, I googled "creepy bald guy ESPN glasses", and lo and behold I got my answer, lol! Reminds me of the fact he was the one who left that infamous voicemail 15 years or so for his one-time date:
  4. Yep, it appears so, on November 4, 2018 vs. Chicago::
  5. JJ Watt has now been named a studio analyst with CBS Sports:
  6. The Bills will probably win it if they get in again. Of the 12 teams who have been to at least five Super Bowls, they all have at least two wins. And of the 16 teams who have been to at least four Super Bowls, 14 have at least one win. This could very well bode well for the Bills next time.
  7. Not about the logistics of the game, but Jaguars OT Cam Robinson was suspended today for four games for a PED violation. The critical news is that he will be back just in time for the Week 5 Bills game in London. Great.
  8. It would be nice if there were a key to his chart.
  9. Well, that sucks. I had the same experience for the Bills first SB against the Giants. Had to work bussing tables in the college dining hall. But they had the game on a big screen there. I had a bad feeling before Norwood attempted that 47-yarder. Wait...you totaled two cars in a week??!
  10. I think the file size you can post of a pic is limited. Column headers would help though, and/or a link. [There also needs to be a "perplexed" reaction emoji for the original post.]
  11. He did enough on the road against KC in 2021 in the AFC Championship Game. The Bills lost, but that was not his fault.
  12. I remember him, and some others like Jay Fiedler and JBinATL. Some posters there post here now. Undertaker was notorious. Often wondered if he was really Jerry Sullivan, lol.
  13. Not my opinion (really), but back in the day on the defunct BBMB, someone claimed Losman, Evans, and McGahee were the new Kelly, Reed, and Thomas. Even then, most people there didn't go for that one, but it shows you how hopeful people were. [And I am staying off that toxic thread here that's been going on here for a few days. More fun just sitting back reading it with my popcorn. One poster there needs to stop responding to everyone.]
  14. Sure, as long as your vehicle can be registered in New York. It's a DMV state plate. Just like people in WNY can get Jets or Giants plates.
  15. It's spoken for (as is "MAAFIA" and "MAFIAA"):
  16. Future Hall of Famer? Hardly. Just four 1,000 yard seasons out of his seven so far, and just over 8,000 yards total rushing? Not even close...unless he has a rejuvenation somewhere.
  17. From the article above: "Andy Slater of 640 Fox Sports reports that no criminal charges will be filed, and if the victim wants to pursue charges, police told him he will have to go to the State Attorney General’s Office. The incident began when Hill’s party boarded a boat without permission, according to Slater. Employees of the charter company told police that Hill said “I can buy you and the boat” and “I’m No. 10 with the Miami Dolphins,” Slater reports. The receiver reportedly hit one of the employees in the back of the head during the incident, but the alleged victim told police he did not want to press charges.
  18. Willie McGinest has been sued again, this time for stealing gym weights from another member using the bench press and then assaulting him with 30-40 punches to the head and back when he questioned why: From the article above: "The plaintiff, Andrew Cortez, claims he was using the bench press ... when someone walked up and took one of his plates. Cortez says he told the person he was not done with the weight ... but he claims McGinest, the former New England Patriots pass rusher, overheard the exchange and said "the f*** you mean?" According to the lawsuit, McGinest then socked Cortez in the face with a closed fist. Cortez alleges three other men then jumped in ... and, along with McGinest, proceeded to strike him in the head and back "30 to 40 times."
  19. So this is a shark? The picture seems fishy:
  20. Matt Araiza plans to sue the plaintiff's lawyer for defamation and will not settle the lawsuit. In addition, plaintiff's lawyer Dan Gilleon will presss forward with his lawsuit and says Araiza is responsible even if he wasn't there:
  21. I remember the olden days in the 80's. TC began around July 5 and ended around August 15. Five weeks! Combine that with two-a-days, and it was a lot. [There were also four rounds of cuts after each of the four pre-season games on a Tuesday: to 70 players, then 60, then 50, then 45. No practice squads.]
  22. I tend to agree. In 1997, Cowboys HC Barry Switzer brought a gun to the airport: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barry_Switzer "In August 1997, Switzer was arrested after a loaded .38-caliber revolver was found in his luggage at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Switzer, who was returning to the team's training camp facility in Austin, said there were children at his Dallas home and he put the gun in his bag to hide it from them. He said he accidentally forgot to remove the gun from the bag before heading to the airport.[17] Switzer pleaded guilty, was fined $3,500, and was given one year deferred adjudication. Two days later, he was fined $75,000 by Jones (equivalent to $136,723 in 2022)" So, he ended up just paying some fines basically. I know, with Jack Jones' case it is different though, since he has priors (a commercial burglary in 2018 and being suspended by the Patriots for breaking an unspecified team rule). Uh...he might want to actually hold off buying that jersey.
