  1. Is there a team stupid enough to give him that fully guaranteed contract? Only the Jets come to mind, lol. I predict he throws a sissy fit and does not play this season or report until the end, when he has to to get the accrued year credit. Plus, it could be argued he did not play in the playoffs last year when he was fully capable.
  2. Twitter is back up now, but you have to repaste your tweets if you want them to embed. I did mine above, but I see people are now discussing this issue in a new thread. [Thanks Elon for not doing proper testing before rolling out a new feature.]
  3. Don't know if he has unfollowed Buffalo before, but he is always doing weird stuff on his social media, like last year:
  4. With Diggs, it's just normal behavior. This is a non-story.
  5. Ugh. Twitter is down right now. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/03/06/report-titans-are-shopping-derrick-henry/ "Report: Titans are shopping Derrick Henry Titans running back Derrick Henry could be on the way out in Tennessee. The Titans have been shopping Henry, according to Michael Silver of BallySports.com. Henry is due a base salary of $10.5 million this season, none of which is guaranteed. If the Titans were to trade him, they’d save $6.3 million on their salary cap in 2023. The 29-year-old Henry was the NFL’s offensive player of the year in 2020. He has led the NFL in rushing yards twice and led the NFL in carries three times, including last season. But his yards per carry average dropped a full yard from 5.4 in 2020 to 4.4 in 2022." ---------- EDIT: Twitter is back up:
  6. I'd love Dawand Jones as a T, but I doubt he lasts until our pick in the 2nd. Probably gone in the 1st.
  7. The problem with Patteron is his severe lack of athletic ability. He is a backup at best and will be drafted Day 3, if at all. 33rd's NFL-style big board has him rated at 5.80: 5.70 – 5.89 - 7th Rounder - Bottom of Roster, Practice Squad https://www.the33rdteam.com/nfl-draft/2023/players/jarrett-patterson-35554/
  8. It may be disgusting to some people, but it is the only source of casein protein. That, especially when combined with whey protein, is the most potent combination for muscle hypertrophy. Athletes really do need it. Humans do a lot of things other species can't do. Milk is healthy and produces optimal strength. I drink up to 1/2 gallon per day.
  9. They have no cap space for what Jackson wants. Same with Rodgers if doesn't want to take a drastic pay cut. ---------- On the Dolphins forum, most are calling this report bogus.
  10. Let's not make Carter a scapegoat here. He had nothing to do with the crash and death of two people.
  11. Yep. We'll get ours soon enough. All the good teams in the oughts and teens won one: Indy, NE, Seattle, GB, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, New Orleans (well, except Dallas, lol).
  12. https://nflpa.com/buffalo-bills-report-card "Overview The Buffalo Bills were ranked 9th overall in our team guide. The player respondents hold their staff in high regard. The complaints of some respondents center mostly around wanting to hire more staff to support the quality people that they already have there. For example, the nutritionist/dietician splits time between their hockey team (Sabres) and the Bills. Player respondents would like more trainers and physical therapists (PTs) in the training room to support the existing quality staff. At the top levels of the organization, the players enjoy playing for head coach Sean McDermott, and 100% of respondents believed the current ownership, the Pegula family, was willing to invest money into upgrading the facility." Complete NFL rankings: https://nflpa.com/nfl-player-team-report-cards "The Cardinals’ report card issued by the NFL Players Association says that players on the Cardinals were the only players in the league who reported having money deducted from their paychecks if they grabbed dinner from the team cafeteria or had a meal when they showed up for additional offseason workouts. [...] “The locker room does not have confidence that owner Michael Bidwill is willing to invest to upgrade the facilities, as he ranks the lowest in that category across the league,” the NFLPA says. “The responses that provide the bases for that characterization include: the worst-ranked weight room, which some players feel is a safety hazard; an outdated training room and locker room; and a policy of deducting dinner from players’ paychecks should players want to get food from the facility.”"
  13. My friend played for the Albany Ambush in the WPFL in 2006. They made it an entire 3 games before going out of business. The players were never paid (although their salary was only $1 per year; and the players had to pay about $800 in fees to the team each year). https://masseyratings.com/14794/all
  14. It's unlikely he falls one bit, but some initially said yesterday he wouldn't be drafted until the 2nd round after the news broke. If that is the case Buffalo should grab him at 27. Beane is done drafting choir boys. A new era has begun: build-a-bully. McD's D will now have an edge. Anything is on the table to turn the team around. KC rebuilt their OL and WR corps immediately; so will Buffalo.
  15. Some well-respected mocks also have us taking WR's Quentin Johnston or Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
  16. Wow...thanks for the thorough explanation and analysis. And great point about different expectations and muscle adaptation. All I would have to say is he's young; young people have always done stupid things in certain environments; and he was likely in an environment were reason and judgment are not exercised to their fullest. So, he will have to answer the charges. His draft value may drop, but I don't think it is too serious. He will go in the top 5 still. We've all done stupid things in out 20's--this is no different. Awesome. Thanks for the explanation! So, you're telling me we're drafting defense again with our first pic?!
  17. No one is downplaying anything. Jalen Carter did not kill anyone. The other driver is responsible for racing the car in the crash. It could have been Jalen's car that crashed, but it wasn't.
  18. The brain doesn't fully mature until 25 or so, per scientific reports: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3621648/#:~:text=The development and maturation of the prefrontal cortex occurs primarily, helps accomplish executive brain functions. Also, what is "meta"?
