  1. Thanks for posting this. Damn...if what Irvin allegedly said is true. Won't post it here.
  2. On the Carolina forum, in addition to going after OBJ and Hopkins, they are also talking about possibly getting Adam Thielen and Quentin Johnston with the 39th pic to give their new QB some weapons. Ok, we'll see, lol. Also, made me laugh: https://www.carolinahuddle.com/topic/182902-we’re-trading-for-1-pick/?do=findComment&comment=6098539 This is why you never choose a username of a current player on your team (or buy their jersey...after Terrell Owens left Philadelphia, I saw his authentic NFL jersey on sale the next day for $0.99 at Sports Authority. I actually bought one to do my oil changes in).
  3. A poster on the Carolina forum who claims to have inside knowledge of the organization said the pick is down to either Stroud or Levis. https://www.carolinahuddle.com/topic/182902-we’re-trading-for-1-pick/?do=findComment&comment=6098357 "MillionDollarCam A friend of mine who has a source in the organization said it’s down to Stroud or Levis but a decision has not been made yet. Was also told that there isn’t a decision on how WR will be addressed yet but that the team does trust Terrace Marshall’s development. Take that for what it’s worth."
  4. His dad, also named Robert Woods, played for Houston and grew up in Louisiana. Maybe that has something to do with it. Not sure.
  5. Yeah, but you can't give comp picks to everyone who loses a coordinator or exec. The Cheatriots lost 2 coordinators in 2005 (Weiss, Crennel) and were supposed to lose two more again in 2018 (McDaniels, Patricia). The good teams would only get better this way, while the bad ones would suffer.
  6. A quick update on this case: https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/03/10/federal-judge-finds-marriott-blatantly-violated-court-order-in-michael-irvin-case/ Federal judge finds Marriott “blatantly” violated court order in Michael Irvin case Excerpt: "Via Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News, a federal judge concluded that Marriott “blatantly” violated an order requiring the company to surrender surveillance video to Irvin. Judge Amos Mazzant ordered the company to submit an unredacted video to Irvin’s lawyers by 5:00 p.m. CT on Friday. He also declined to prevent Irvin from making the video public. “That’s the penalty you face,” Judge Mazzant said — a more tactful version of “f–k around and find out.”
  7. That's a fair question. I don't know the answer. Houston probably would, lol [this is a joke 😊].
  8. But then every team would try to hire minority coaches to simply acquire draft picks.
  9. IKR? They had three comp picks for minority hires. I am still.annoyed not a single team has hired Frazier, despite his highly-ranked defenses. Where are our picks? We sowed the seeds, but no reward. Awesome. If you happen to find it, post the info or link here! People want to learn.
  10. He was the 2000 NFL Executive of the Year according to his twitter bio, and does a podcast on The Athletic, lol.
  11. Not a word about this on the Giants forum They must be asleep at the wheel, lol. Also, they have the picks to give, as they were awarded a 5th and a 7th by the NFL yesterday in comp picks, plus they get KC's comp 3rd from the Toney trade.
  12. [didn't see this posted elsewhere.] SF gets 7 picks (including three 3rds). Giants get a 5th and a 7th, plus KC's compensatory 3rd from the Kadarius Toney trade. KC gets a 3rd (traded to the Giants), 6th and a 7th. Rams get three 5ths and a 7th. New England gets a 4th and a 6th. None for Buffalo.
  13. The Houston Texans have been stripped of this year's 5th and fined $175,000 due to a Deshaun Watson salary cap violation. The Texans disagree with this decision but will accept it.
  14. Yeah, I noticed that too. That user is a traitor to all of Buffalo. Why would a Buffalo person like the Jets over the Bills?
  15. As others have said, it will be made official next Wednesday when the league year begins. Also, on the Ravens forum, some are complaining they only got a 7th, and a 2024 7th at that. They wanted a 5th. Maybe, but they still do not have Josh Allen.
  16. Long letter from Calvin Ridley. Looks like he is truly sorry, has learned from his experience, and is now prepared to be a force with the Jaguars. Buffalo will have its hands full when we play them next year.
  17. Mine had a rooftop motorized antenna too. Plus no VCR, no cable TV, and no shower. FOX and their primetime cartoon and/or crude shows did not exist. I actually liked the olden days in many ways. Things were simpler. There were also blackouts in the NFL, which were not a bad thing in many ways. Sorry. But that's just my opinion.
  18. Yep, it's a non-story. I said that in an early post on the first page, trying to quash this topic, but it took off. It's the off-season...I guess people are bored. In many ways, the world would be a better place without social media. Why are young people obsessed with this? It got Ja Morant, Kyler Murray, Ye, Cole Beasley, Kyrie Irving, and even Lebron in trouble. When will people learn? Now you even see news articles on ESPN consisting entirely of a summary of people's Twitter reactions. Real journalism....at it's finest. SMH.
