  1. I went back and listened to Josh's comments about Dion. First, Jim Miller of SiriusXM said Dion looks great and has re-made his body. Then Josh said he loves his mindset. He is doing all the right things, both on and off the field, and eating correctly. He's a leader on this team. He is treating his body well. He's already on his second contract and played in the league a long time, so all the guys look up to him and are inspired by him. They see how badly he wants it.
  2. You are right. The first two hits of a quick search I did said it primarily helps you lose water weight and should only be done under medical supervision, due to the excess water loss. One link: https://powerliftingtechnique.com/are-sauna-suits-good-for-losing-fat/#:~:text=With the sauna suit%2C you,you keep the weight off. I will try to relisten to the Josh Allen interview where he said Dion looked great and see of he has any more insights. Since it's SiriusXM, I don't think there will be a link.
  3. The Bills looked like they were going to win it all at TC in 1990. The team was confident and had that swagger. Thurman Thomas even wrote "Tampa" on his cleats (the site of the SB that year). We finished 13-3, got the number one seed, were favorites in the SB, and had even beaten our opponent, the Giants, at the Meadowlands earlier that season. We all know what happened, but we should have won that game. So, I hope the Bills do have that look this year; after all, from all reports, they are very focused and this is the most talent McD has had, but things have a funny way of working out even with best of teams.
  4. In all seriousness, Josh said on SiriusXM NFLRadio the other day that Dion had lost 30-40 lb. and was wearing a sweatsuit during TC. He said all the offensive linemen look up to and admire him. He said Dion has shown how badly he wants it, and as the leader of the OL he has led by example.
  5. Statement from the PAC-12 on Colorado leaving: Ok, lol. Oh, and funny reactions:
  6. Wait...was Josh really trying to tackle Poona after his pick??
  7. We will the SB this year to honor her!
  8. But I wonder if the parents were named in the lawsuit? Also, I found this on the web. Interesting: https://www.lawguys.com/legal-liability-for-the-acts-of-minors/ "Although some homeowner’s insurance policies may cover the costs of legal fees and pay for some claims of damage resulting from a minor child’s acts, such coverage is usually limited. Policies and exclusions vary by state, but typically, most homeowners insurance will cover the acts of children under a certain age (such as 11, 12 or 13) and only for acts of negligence, not intentional acts. In some cases, depending on the insurer, additional “policy riders” might be available for purchase after a child reaches a certain age in order to extend the coverage. Generally, however, polices often exclude illegal or willful and malicious acts and thus may, for example, exclude property damages caused by burglary committed by a minor. In such a case, the parents may be required to pay the entire amount or the statutory cap."
  9. Well, a quick search yields Mission Athletecare: https://www.patriots.com/news/cool-ing-technology-to-help-nfl-beat-the-heat-229741 "Founded in 2009 by elite athletes, Mission Athletecare has already gained attention more for its innovative cooling products, which include special towels, arm sleeves and helmet liners, than for the host of star athletes that promote the upstart, including NFL stars Drew Brees and Reggie Bush, NHL All-Star John Tavares, Tennis Icon Serena Williams and NBA Big Man Dwayne Wade. The company claims its Eduracool "instant cooling" technology uses a chemical-free cooling material for textiles with three key attributes – wicking, moisture circulation and regulated evaporation - that it says together can reduce a fabric's temperature by up to 30 degrees." But I'm not sure if these are NFL legal, despite endorsements by its retired athletes. I am sure there is a lot more out there.
  10. Yep, in the Alabama case, the woman made an intentional and false diversion to aid her disappearance. It was an out-and-out pre-conceived ploy. meant to deceive and mislead.
  11. A good question. It would be hard, I suspect, to prove she knowingly lied and wanted to mislead authorities. It's hard to know what exactly happened in the bedroom, no matter what she said or did after. People react differently and even strangely all the time to that stuff. It's he said vs. she said. And the prosecutor's office not pressing charges in the case doesn't necessarily mean there was no assault, but it didn't feel confident in proving it. Not saying there was an assault, but we don't know, despite her behavior.
  12. She will probably declare bankruptcy, which eliminates that debt.
  13. And leave it to the classy Dolphins fans to take a shot at the Bills over this. SMH.
  14. Wow...never knew realtors made you wear shoe coverings. Also, EJ's feet are so big that the coverings are falling off, lol.
  15. In the meantime, Dolphins fans are going gaga over Tua throwing "dimes" in practice: https://www.instagram.com/p/CvQJVm0pIxw/?img_index=1
  16. A few posts here mentioned EJ Manuel. Not familiar with the incident and not trying to hi-jack this thread, but I went to his ig page. Apparently, he was just married. Looking at the final pic in this post, anyone know why he and his bridge are wearing foot covering over their shoes? The location says Fort Lauderdale: Here are the screenshot of the pic and his post link: https://www.instagram.com/p/CsPHEEfPg1f/?img_index=1
  17. Didn't see this posted. From the article: "Patriots coach Bill Belichick says the giant new video board installed at Gillette Stadium this offseason could affect the game on the field. The video board is 370 feet wide and 60 feet high and stretches across the north end zone, which had previously been open. Belichick said today that he wants his kickers to get plenty of practice inside the stadium to get a feel for how much the new board will change wind patterns. “We saw a lot of that in the spring, so we can’t control that, whatever it is, it is. It’s a learning experience for these guys. We’ll kick in the stadium when we can. Obviously those conditions have changed a little bit, so we’ll see how that goes. It’s a work in progress,” Belichick said. Belichick said it’s clear that kicking in the stadium is different now. “We were in there this spring a little bit,” Belichick said. “Yeah, there’s some changes. Yeah.” The Patriots’ new video board is the largest at any outdoor stadium in America." [end] I hope this doesn't' give the Pats too much of an advantage. They will know how the wind affect kicks, while other teams will have to learn. I have this nagging suspicion that Belichick is up to something, lol. [Also, thanks to @Bubba Gump for the title suggestion!]
  18. True, except for Kansas City. They gladly took the win, 13-7, over Green Bay without Aaron Rodgers in 2021. This enabled them to get the #2 seed over us, and they got to host us in the infamous 13-seconds game.
  19. Colorado is headed back to the Big XII next season (2024) penalty free, after the TV contract with the PAC-12 expires at the end of this season (2023-24). That makes only nine teams for the PAC-12 next year (with the upcoming loss of USC and UCLA to the Big 10 (B1G)). Who's next?
  20. This is wrong. They've inducted three seniors for quite a while now.
  21. Well, they are not arbitrary. There is a definite ranking. That's why Nantz and Romo will almost always get the top game each week, depending on how CBS ranks the games (this year a lot of Jets games). Same reason why McCarthy and Lofton get worse games. A lot depends on potential TV viewership, time/day slot (perhaps a Christmas day or eve matchup), and players they want to showcase, like Bryce Young early on. KC is also really popular, obviously, because of Mahommes, his MVP's, and their SB's.
  22. Yep, everyone said in 1989 that the Vikings were just a RB away from winning the SB. Afterall, they had a Pro Bowler and/or All Pro at every position group except RB. So, they traded with Dallas for Herschel Walker in a blockbuster deal. Didn't work out too well for them. SF, the Giants, and Washington continued to dominate the NFC, as did Dallas eventually, who got three firsts, three seconds, and a third from that trade. They drafted Emmitt Smith from those picks, as well as Russell Maryland, Kevin Smith, Darren Woodson, and others.
  23. But but but..are they discussing things like smelly shirts and wet spaghetti noodles in that thread?!?! This thread is more interesting.
