  1. Also, for the people here having their Sunday ruined or not being able to fall asleep after the game, I have learned to detach myself emotionally (for the most part) from the game. I never let myself get down after a Bills loss. I guess years of the drought conditioned me.
  2. Agreed with your post. I hate waiting all day for SNF or MNF the next day. But the somewhat good thing is if you're on the west coast like me, prime time games start at 5 PM or so. But then you're still at work or whatever when things get going. [And let's not talk about those 6:30 AM starts for international games.]
  3. One announcer team for a FOX game was made known: Detroit at Chicago (C) Adam Amin, Mark Schlereth, Kristina Pink The OP has been changed. It is! The Bills rate. (Well not really...more to do with KC, Philly, and A-Rod, lol)
  4. But it could have happened in the off-season too.

  6. LMAO: saw this in another forum tonight advertising next week's TNF game on Prime: "When Bill Belichick is your best player"
  7. If we play like we did at Philly, we will win out. Miami and KC didn't win against them. We should have won.
  8. Because it's near the holidays and the NFL wants to feature games to a national window and make money. Plus there are no (or few?) college games.
  9. Agreed, but especially for Week 15, with three Saturday games to be determined late, fans knew in advance things would be uncertain.
  10. LOL! It might not be quite national though as Arizona may blackout our game on FOX to show them vs. San Francisco on CBS.
  11. Also, the MNF flex means Philly has four MNF games this year: at Tampa Bay at Kansas City at Seattle vs. New York Giants
  12. Haha, yeah at this point we need all the help we can get. Still, FOX is thrilled to have even more eyes on Dallas...their real moneymaker.
  13. https://nflcommunications.com/Pages/Week-15-Flex-Scheduling---Eagles-Seahawks-to-Monday-Night;-NFL-Network-Tripleheader-on-Saturday.aspx Week 15 - December 17: First-ever MNF flex: Philadelphia at Seattle moves to MNF while Kansas City at New England goes to 1 PM Sunday on FOX. Dallas at Buffalo becomes the sole late national game on FOX. The Saturday (December 16) games on NFL Network were also announced: Minnesota at Cincinnati Pittsburgh at Indianapolis Denver at Detroit Atlanta at Carolina and Chicago at Cleveland were also moved from CBS to FOX in the early Sunday slot. WJBK in Detroit (FOX 2) will also be simulcasting the Denver at Detroit game: Other local simulcasts for the Saturday games will be announced later.
  14. Just a heads up: Leslie Frazier will be on The NFL Report tonight (11/30) at 7:15 PM ET with Sam Wyche James Palmer to discuss navigating the “Interim Coach” job. This wll be on The NFL app, Roku, Tubi, PlutoTV, and Peacock
  15. All good choices both of you. The bolded loss to Tennessee was also known as the Music City Miracle or the Homerun Throwback. See, there's even a name for that? SMH. Let's add the Stevie Jonson "God made me drop the TD" loss in OT to Pittsburgh in 2010. Plus, didn't we blow a lead to Dallas on primetime somewhere back then too? And the 1980 playoff loss to San Diego on Ron Smith's last minute 50-yard TD reception from Fouts. And, while not as dramatic, the loss to the Dolphins in 2018, I believe it was, when Charles Clay dropped a TD pass from Josh.
  16. Twice. Also the wind game in 2021 vs. New England and that smarmy smirk on Belichick's face and his fist pump after. We lost to Mac Jones with a strong-armed QB used to wind in Wyoming. [We also lost to Jones twice.]
  17. Not sure if you have an answer yet, but it looks like we have nine picks after the Rasul Douglas trade, plus probably a 3rd-round comp pick for losing Edmunds: First round: Own Second round: Own [Hoping a third-round comp pick] Fourth round: Own Fifth round: From Green Bay Fifth round: Own Sixth round: Own Sixth round: From Los Angeles Rams, or from Denver via Rams Sixth round: From Houston, or from Dallas via Houston Seventh round: Own Also, anyone know what this means: "Sixth round: From Houston, or from Dallas via Houston" ?? Tampa Bay should screw us out of a WR too, again. In 2014, they took Mike Evans. Had we stayed put, they might have drafted Sammy Watkins, and we could have had Evans. I know...it's all hindsight and speculation. But many current mocks have Tampa Bay taking a WR too, and Odunze's name comes up a lot.
  18. Stephon has posted many of the wishes and gifts of the people close to him wishing him a happy birthday on his IG story: https://www.instagram.com/stories/stefondiggs/3246854846539331920/
  19. Braylon Edwards, a former Jets WR, Michigan alum, and Big Ten Network personality, was just on The Odd Couple with Rob Broussard and Chris Parker on Fox Sports Radio. He said that the inside word is that Jim Harbaugh must win the national championship. Any loss in the finals or semi-finals would mean there is a good chance he is fired since Michigan would be disillusioned with him. So, he would then be out of a job. Not advocating for him, but the word is he must win out to save his job.
  20. The rumor is New England is taking JJ McCarthy. No way Drake or Caleb drops that much to New England, unless they swing a trade, which I think Chicago and Arizona would be stupid to do.
  21. Yeah, as you noted, they did two games last week with Thanksgiving and us. They earned their break. Good week to take it too.
  22. Hope we're done with this guy for the season. And, strangely enough...Hochuli's crew is on a bye this week. https://nflcommunications.com/Documents/2023 Football Information/Capsules/Week 13 Capsules.pdf [Also, I usually make the ref thread Tuesday, but since the Bills weren't playing, I didn't think anyone would be interested in who's officiating the other games.]
  23. Yep...I feel sorry for Bengal's fans being forced to watch Cleveland though over America's Game of Week (SF at Philly).
