But isn't "baby mama" (or "baby daddy") the term that is used for an unmarried parent of your child??
-
We get the #3 broadcast team at CBS though. Broadcast teams for CBS are assigned on distribution, so it may be bigger than you think. Still, I agree...no one wants to see New England. This also may be Belichick's final broadcast by CBS (though probably not, unless New England gets moved to Saturday in Week 18 or flexed to FOX).

The maps tomorrow may be delayed to the holiday and because a large part of the country is still undetermined on the FOX map. This is the second time we have had Harlan, Green, and Collins this year. Game thread: TNF New Orleans at Los Angeles Rams
chongli replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm partially Asian and used to live in California. Many Asians prefer to live there because of accessibility to East Asia and because the entire west coast has a huge Asian population. Many of the governmental notices there are in various Asian languages and there are even Asian-language TV stations, grocery stores, and gyms there. -

Bills Game on Peacock- No Commercials in the 4th Quarter !
chongli replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
Here's the link: -
The problem is now Baltimore has to fly back from SF early Tuesday and play Miami at 1 PM Sunday. Baltimore would have preferred a flex to SNF. That also gives Miami more of a cgance to win that game too. . One thing to consider though is Buffalo played in primetime three weeks in a row from Weeks 8-10. So that may not have been a consideration.

This will be the first game I miss in 27 years. Thanks NFL
chongli replied to Heavy Kevi's topic in The Stadium Wall
Someone mentioned on another forum that if Herbert weren't injured there would be more outcry that the game is on Peacock, especially from his fans in Oregon. I also notice diehard fans of other teams around the country aren't bothering to subscribe to Peacock. We'll see if that changes for Super Wildcard Weekend. [Watch: they will have Buffalo on that game too.] -
NFL Maps and Broadcast Schedule: Week 16 2023 (December 24)
chongli replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
UPDATE: FOX Early: Cincinnati OH: DET-MIN to IND-ATL (Thu) Map has been changed. -
It was widely assumed the NFL would flex the early CBS Miami at Baltimore game to SNF Week 17 on New Year's Day in place of the scheduled Green Bay at Minnesota game (remember, only 6-days' notice is required for a SNF flex Weeks 14-18). But the NFL has decided to leave things in place: MIA-BAL will remain in the CBS 1 PM slot 12/31. CIN-KC will remain the feature late game in the 4:25 PM slot on CBS. [thanks to @Ned Flanders for catching my brain fart!] GB-MIN will remain on SNF. What's worse, many parts of the country will not be able to see MIA-BAL, including Houston and Tampa Bay, which will both black out CBS's early game to show their own teams exclusively, as is allowed since these teams are on the single-header network at home for more than four times this year. At the very least, the NFL was expected to put MIA-BAL in the late CBS lot to feature them more. I guess Mahommes and Taylor trumped that idea? As well as the NFL maybe not wanting to interrupt people's New Year's Eve plans. Some also viewed this as a make-up move to CBS for not letting them feature a late Sunday game this year in a stand-alone slot, like FOX did last week for DAL-BUF. This will be a huge double header for CBS. Here is the schedule for Week 17. The CBS announcers should be made known today or tomorrow...probably, and I will post then. Week 17: NATIONAL BROADCASTS TNF: Thursday Night: NY Jets @ Cleveland (Amazon) MNF: Saturday 8:15 PM ET: Detroit @ Dallas (ESPN/ABC) SNF: Sunday Night: Green Bay @ Minnesota (NBC) CBS EARLY New England @ Buffalo Miami @ Baltimore Atlanta @ Chicago Las Vegas @ Indianapolis Carolina @ Jacksonville CBS LATE Cincinnati @ Kansas City LA Chargers @ Denver FOX SINGLE LA Rams @ NY Giants San Francisco @ Washington New Orleans @ Tampa Bay Arizona @ Philadelphia Tennessee @ Houston Pittsburgh @ Seattle (LATE)

AFC Championship Game and Super Bowl, did we just sweep the preview?
chongli replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Bills win the AFC E, we would probably play Baltimore in the divisionals. -
Tyreek Hill, a class act!

The NFL would charge a premium for that, as a convenience fee. -

The cheapest thing I saw was a woman going to Fuddruckers and after having eaten (no leftovers), she went and got some of the lettuce and tomatoes in the self-serve burger topping bar and took them home in a napkin for later. The most wasteful thing I saw was a woman at Panera Bread taking one bite from a salad entre and then leaving it after chatting with her friend. [So I guess you have $10 or so to blow? Must be nice.] --- Second post [I hate when these are merged and the topic is so different and not a response to a quote]: No non-Buffalo fan cares about missing this game since our opponent is the Chargers and it's a Saturday night and everyone hates Collinsworth. Watch the nation freak out though when it's the Wild Card Saturday night and people are scrambling to do something about it, especially if it's a good matchup. -
Man, I just went over to the Chargers forum to see them dissing the Bills, and then report back here. But, the attitude there is resignation. In fact, they want to play their young guys and have them lose to improve their draft status. They said if the Raiders can hang 63 on them, imagine what Buffalo can do. The spread went from (-10) to (-12) for Buffalo, and one guy said he'd be all over than and give us even more at (-20)! But this comment made me laugh: "You know the season is in the books, when the pregame thread isnt stickied, lol..." https://www.thepowderblues.com/forum/forum/los-angeles-chargers-forum-nfl-forum-padres-forum/the-los-angeles-chargers-forum/1592371-bills-at-chargers-10-pregame-discussion-wk-16

There would be plenty of savings for the networks. I'd imagine many would do it for a case of beer and bragging rights, lol! Speaking of that, it's rumored that in Hulk Hogan's first match in 1979 against Harry Valdez, poor Harry was paid exactly that way: with a case of beer: [Ok, sorry, I am making that up, but it sounded good!]

Note the beginning of the video: Buffalo dominated the NFL that year. We led the NFL in 3rd-down efficiency, total defense, and sacks allowed. We were 5-2 against teams with winning records. We beat San Diego, Oakland, LA, Pittsburgh, and New England. Only a fluke play against San Diego in the playoffs in the last-minute cost us the game.

Your response made me laugh out loud. Yeah, his reply didn't really say anything.
