  1. The Saturday night Wild Card game?! 😉
  2. FanDuel and Fanatics are offering free livestreaming of the Peacock game (and all games) if you place a bet. $0.10 is the minimum bet:
  3. Well, at least pretty much no one nationally is watching us lose right now.
  4. I just read on another forum someone was complaining to this guy on twitter that the game was not on NFL+ and that he tricked him into thinking it was and now he is screwed. He was pissed at him. Then he found out it did work, and he deleted his tweet. LOL.
  5. Everyone calm down. We're playing the Chargers after all. Chargers will be Chargering soon.
  6. Yes. ------ Second message: I never took Cincy seriously. As soon as Burrow went down, I knew they were done. Their luck finally ran out. The same goes for upstart teams like Indy and Houston.
  7. For future reference, all games for the team in your primary market are always available on free TV. So all the Bills games in Buffalo area were or will be broadcast free, over-the-air this year, including the games on ESPN, NFL Network, Amazon, and Peacock. Or KNBC 4 in Los Angeles or on your mobile device on NFL+ (with a paid subscription). (Or abroad, where Peacock doesn't have the rights.) And we won't talk about the other, nefarious means.
  8. If you get WGRZ (NBC/2) you will get the game. Cattaraugus County is served by the Buffalo stations.
  9. This is a good question. We'll know more when the early distributions are more clear Sunday, but I would say PIT-SEA and NO-TB seem like the only choices, depending on how they do this week. EDIT: on second thought, they are probably going to do AZ-PHL or SF-WAS, as three of the four teams have big markets. Anything but TEN-HOU, as that involves two small-market AFC teams. But then again, what do I know? The networks, especially FOX, have surprised us before.
  10. The late Jacksonville at Tampa Bay game might be pretty good if Dallas at Miami becomes a blowout.
  11. Your posts made me look it up. Yep, we haven't won at San Diego/LA since the Ferguson years in 1981 (we won there back-to-back in 1980 and 1981). I was quite shocked. But we've only played them at their place six times since. Jim Kelly never even faced the Chargers when he was here from 1986-1996. Neither has Josh on the road there. The good news is we've only lost once at their place since they moved to Los Angeles: in 2017, pre-Josh. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/game_query.cgi?tm1=buf&tm2=sdg&yr=all
  12. Thanks for the link! I read the offer here: https://www.forbes.com/advisor/credit-cards/amex-digital-entertainment-credit/#:~:text=The Amex Digital Entertainment Credit is one of the many, services like Hulu and Peacock. It says you must have a Platinum card, and the annual fee is $695! [That's not a typo!] Maybe I read it wring, but yikes! 😱
  13. Yeah, the Rams' Nacua is a stud. Wish we had him. Way better than Davis.
  14. The most I have ever found was a $20 bill on the sidewalk as a child. [Also, a good place to look is under benches on a decline bench or 45-degree leg press at a gym.]
  15. Yep, if we play them again now, even with Burrow, it's a different outcome. The same goes for Denver, Jacksonville, and New England. We have caught fire at the right time.
  16. https://www.wkrn.com/news/national/former-nfl-player-mike-williams-cause-of-death-confirmed-by-officials/ "Former NFL player Mike Williams’ cause of death confirmed by officials" "Williams, who played college ball at Syracuse before being selected in the 4th round of the 2010 NFL draft, was working on a construction site when he sustained injuries after heavy supplies landed on his head. While initially believed to be non-life-threatening, Williams was hospitalized after his symptoms worsened that week, his mother told News 2’s sister station, WIVB. The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner Department said his death was caused by “Bacterial Sepsis with Cerebral Abscesses and Necrotizing Lobar Pneumonia due to multiple Dental Caries and retained tooth roots.” Officials also listed Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease as a contributing factor. A cerebral abscess is a collection of pus the develops in the brain due to infections, according to John Hopkins Medicine. It can cause your brain to swell and restrict blood flow. Bacterial sepsis is a life-threatening medical emergency caused by the body’s extreme response to infection, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said. If not treated in time, it can cause tissue damage, organ failure, and death." Buffalo released some videos of Mike Williams' time at Buffalo two weeks ago: https://www.buffalobills.com/video/mike-williams-comes-full-circle-13397417 https://www.buffalobills.com/video/mike-williams-it-s-going-to-be-surreal-13523518 His cause of death is scary. A few cavities becomes an abscess and sepsis. RIP.
  17. The Patriots in 2008 and the Broncos in 1985 finished with 11 wins but failed to make the playoffs. Yikes! https://www.profootballhof.com/news/2013/12/news-fact-or-fiction-an-11-5-team-has-missed-the-playoffs/
  18. Especially from such a new poster! Way to go! [As opposed to the usual "here me out" or duplicate thread or LAMP posts from newbies.]
  19. Yep...the Bills got screwed that year. All three division winners in the AFC were 11-5: Buffalo, San Diego, and Cleveland. We also beat San Diego in the regular season on the road. The AFC seedings were: 1. San Diego - 11-5 2. Cleveland - 11-5 3. Buffalo - 11-5 4. Oakland - 11-5 (Wild Card) 5. Houston - 11-5 (Wild Card) ------------------------------------------------------ Missed playoffs but had winning record: 6. New England - 10-6 7. Pittsburgh - 9-7 As the three-seed, we had to go to number one San Diego in the divisionals. At that time, teams from the same division were not allowed to play each other in the divisionals, so number four Oakland could not go to number one San Diego. Nowadays, that is allowed, as there is no conference re-seeding after the Wild Cards. That is why the Giants played Philly last year in the divisionals. So if this were now, we would have gone to number two Cleveland in the divisionals and beaten them. They were good, but not that good. It took a miracle for Oakland to beat them in the divisionals. Then we would have hosted San Diego or Oakland and obliterated them in the cold, just like San Diego could not handle the cold in the 1981 AFC Championship game at Cincinnati. Warm weather teams back then had a hard time beating cold-weather teams in the cold. We beat both in the regular season. Then onto the SB to beat Philadelphia. Oakland destroyed them, and we could have too. We got screwed out of the SB that year because of the formula the NFL used.
