  1. Full referee crews have been announced. Craig Wrolstadt is our alternate referee.
  2. Despite being on a Monday afternoon:
  3. Kaylee Hartung has been added by NBC as an additional sideline reporter for the TB-DET Sunday game (see linked article in tweet):
  4. Not about Peacock per se, but about streaming in general. As the tweet says, Amazon has acquired a share in Diamond Sports Group for $115 million, pending US Bankruptcy Court approval, which shows regional sports (NBA/NHL/MLB) in 37 states under the label Bally Sports. Amazon will be a host for the games on Prime Video. Amazon will now have a presence in all four major US sports. [paywalled:] https://www.espn.com/espn/story/_/id/39327963/amazon-invest-diamond-sports-part-bankruptcy-deal "Amazon will partner with Diamond Sports as part of a restructuring agreement as the largest owner of regional sports networks looks to emerge from bankruptcy. Diamond owns 18 networks under the Bally Sports banner. Those networks have the rights to 37 professional teams: 11 MLB, 15 NBA and 11 NHL. Diamond Sports has been in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings in the Southern District of Texas since it filed for protection last March. The company said in a late 2021 financial filing that it had debt of $8.67 billion. [...] Amazon Prime already carries some New York Yankees and Brooklyn Nets games produced by the YES Network."
  5. I love the smile on Bowles' face! Here is the exchange:
  6. I didn't realize KC played Buffalo last week.
  7. Yeah, but he said during the regular season at times the Bills would finish behind the Jets and maybe even New England. This was bizarre and shows a deep hatred of Buffalo.
  8. Guy's constantly hyping up Miami, the Jets, and KC; and is happy when Buffalo struggles. Yet he professes to be a Bills fan. The guy is nuts for that, and many other reasons. He thinks everything is a conspiracy theory. Completely nuts and an attention seeker.
  9. This. When Green Bay played Dallas from 1993-1996, all seven games were in Dallas (4 regular season and 3 playoff), and all seven were losses. Finally, they got Dallas at home in 1997, and won. (Then they went on to lose the SB that year to Denver, but that's another story, lol.)
  10. Like these predictions? [Made in reference to the Bills at Chiefs Week 14:] Or this one, made during the Jets game Week 6: Or before the WC game: Or about the line for the upcoming divisional game (currently at -2.5 Buffalo):
  11. The people have spoken. 2,500 likes vs. only 30 re-tweets: Buffalo will beat KC: Josh can also be on this list next post-season. He has five wins already, and is only 27:
  12. Mary Levy "you over-officious jerk" clip begins at 0:22]
  13. 1. NFL Capsules have been released with all announcer teams for the week's Divisional Weekend announced: https://nflcommunications.com/Documents/2023 Football Information/Capsules/Divisional Capsules.pdf 2. Laura Rutledge has been added as an additional sideline reporter for the ABC/ESPN game between Houston and Baltimore Saturday, similar to last week's WC game: 3. The TV schedules for the following countries have been released and are in the OP: UK Ireland Australia New Zealand Germany Brazil Mexico Denmark Norway Sweden Indonesia 4. CBS Sports six productions trucks will remain this week in Buffalo:
  14. Hope this hasn't been posted yet, but I heard an awesome segment today on The Herd with Colin Cowherd today on the radio about McD and Buffalo. What I will write below is a paraphrase of what he said: Cowherd's gist was this team is like the Giants team of 2007 with Tom Coughlin, which won the SB over New England. In early December, a high-critical article about McD came out by Tyler Dunne, with 25 different sources. There was the 9-11 controversy, the Von miller controversy, Dorsey had to be fired, Frazier left, etc. The team was in crisis. Ty Dunn said McD was too rigid and intense, and players had become uptight. McD had two choices: be defensive or adjust. He chose the latter. He was thoughtful and pro-active. The Buffalo Bills have not lost since that article. The same happened with Tom Coughlin of the Giants in late 2006. He had great players, a great defensive line, and Eli Manning. Wellington Mara, the owner, came to him and said you are losing the locker room. Lighten up with the media, lighten up with the players. The players want to love you. And to his credit, Coughlin did. He spoke to his wife, who said show them your friendly and warm personal side you show only at home. The Bills have had two outstanding drafts in the past two years. They have become twitchier at WR, faster on offense. They are less reliant on Josh, although he still makes great plays that no one else can do, like Lamar Jackson. This team feels like those Giants teams, with a great QB, great defensive linemen, an intense coach, high expectations, mid-season controversy, and a pro-active coach. Sean McDermott needed a kick in the pants. The Tyler Dunne article provided that. It had 25 different sources which angered and damned McD. But it caused McD to lighten up and win back the locker room. [Bills talk begin at 4:07)
  15. Yep, as you said, we will have them the rest of the way since CBS has the SB. There is also an alternate simulcast of the SB on Nickelodeon, featuring Nate Burleson, Noah Eagle, SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Starr, Sandy Cheeks, Larry the Lobster, Dora the Explorer, and Boots: https://clutchpoints.com/super-bowl-gets-wild-spongebob-dora-boost
