Yeah, I remember in the Bills first SB year in 1990, Jordan and a few other players said they were cheering for the Bills in the SB. The Bills were viewed as cool back then with all the star power (Kelly, Reed, Thomas, Smith, Biscuit, etc.) vs. the boring Giants with Hostetler, old OJ Andserson, Jumbo Elliott, etc.

I believe the Bills had the second-best overall record to the 49ers by only a few games and the best inter-conference record, even though they lost twice in meaningless final-week games against the NFC where they had already clinched the top seed.
