  1. Colin Cowherd was just discussing this list on his radio show. He said Brian Flores should have been rated much higher than 17 ("there are not 16 coaches better than him") and Matt LaFleur should have been much lower, as he inherited Aaron Rodgers and just tweaked the offense a little to make it more physical.
  2. This is what I said in my original post: "In the early 90's when I was still a young adult, I mentioned to somebody in the Rochester community that this lawyer there was LGBT. When I told that lawyer what I had done, they were angry, even though I never named the person." And then I learned from my mistake and never did it again. Again, I am not calling Bruce out. I am not calling you out. I respect your opinion. It was my intent only to simply offer my opinion.
  3. I outed no one. The person is long dead. As far as who could figure it out is concerned, we don't know. Regardless, it is the person's choice.
  4. The time is not relevant here since it is still a small community (Bills from the mid- to late-90's), and the person may not have wanted it out there. It is their choice. I am not trying to take Bruce or you to task, but I am just saying there is a bigger picture. And I am not too interested in this, but I just thought I would add my perspective to the discussion. I respect it you disagree, but I am just saying what I would do.
  5. Well the person was trans, which was a lot smaller than the general GLB community; and we're talking about just lawyers, which is a pretty small group. And they were pissed at me when I mentioned it to them. I'll let the person decide for themselves what is preferable, and respect their wishes.
  6. Are you saying he is old, haha?! 😃 [Just kidding...I FTR like him]
  7. Well, he does have to be careful, even though he did not name names, since the Bills from the mid- to late-90s are a small community, so people could make conclusions. In the early 90's when I was still a young adult, I mentioned to somebody in the Rochester community that this lawyer there was LGBT. When I told that lawyer what I had done, they were angry, even though I never named the person. They said it was a small community and they could be outed. I learned my lesson.
  8. The original Bruce Smith video is here: Not that it matters, but since people are speculating here, at 2:16 of the video above, Bruce says the player played on the Bills in the mid- to late-90's. He also there there might have been two such players on the team. Shouldn't be news, but it is, unfortunately, in this day and age still, so much so that TMZ had to "break" this story.
  9. You mean two Tyrel(l)'s and a Tyler? 😄 Or am I forgetting some people?
  10. Ha, ha, yep, all the weird hair threw me for a loop! [I'm still bad with faces though, no matter what!] And thanks for the compliment. Chong Li was a bad a$$. Me, not so much; but I can pretend, lol.
  11. Awesome! And thanks for your help.
  12. I'm bad with faces. Is that Dawson Knox in the blue shirt and red gloves, second from the right?
  13. Both Jake Fromm and Davis Webb. I hope one (or both) of them steps up and proves he has the potential to be a good backup QB once Trubisky most likely leaves next year.
  14. Perhaps, but I just read that Jeff Nixon set a Bills record with four takeaways in one game (three interceptions, one fumble recovery) in that game and was named SI's Defensive Player of the Month for September 1980: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Nixon Pretty cool!
  15. Some of these are gross, lol! 😅 But the top of Kelso's helmet is a good one. Why? They would be worthless, wouldn't they? They were selling the Terrell Owens. jerseys at Sports Authority for $1 after he left Philly for Dallas.
  16. and The red helmets were named eighth ugliest uniform ever in the NFL by Bleach Report: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/889500-the-top-27-ugliest-uniforms-in-nfl-history "Buffalo Bills Red Helmet Era 8 OF 27 The Bills made the switch from white helmets to red helmets in 1984. Something about adding a red helmet to that uniform just makes it look worse. "
  17. Yep: Guess Mahommes chose not to wear his captains jersey, which he was awarded in the playoffs last year:
  18. Not sure if this was posted in another thread already, but:
  19. CBS Sports seems to have a problem with this. I posted the link to one of their articles recently, and it was also for the wrong story. Fortunately, I caught and edited it right away. Re the actual article, Trapasso is very positive on Josh's supporting cast. This is what he has to say about the running backs and OL: "The Bills miraculously return their entire offensive line from a year ago, a sturdy unit at tackle and center that does feature some inconsistencies at guard. Pro Football Focus recently ranked Buffalo's blocking unit as the 13th-best in the league. Devin Singletary and Zack Moss sit atop the running back depth chart. Their collective lack of explosive capabilities have sparked negative narratives about the two young backs, but they've proven to be among the most elusive, hard-to-tackle runners in football." I hope these two units take a step up this year. No mention is made of Breida, or of the tight end situation.
  20. For the record, here is Kelce's exact quote, from that article: "They’re definitely a contender, without a doubt,” Kelce said of the Browns, via Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal. “It’s definitely there. Baker [Mayfield] and the gang have upped the ante, made this team an unbelievable team and a team you have to prepare for and take serious. I think that moving forward without a doubt, I can see a lot more playoff games between us, and I’ll just take it one day at a time and hope for it. I think the Browns and Chiefs are definitely neck and neck.” “It’s impressive to see where they’ve come from and where they are now because it’s a legit contender,” Kelce said, “and every team’s going to have to bring it.”"
  21. Also, Tyrod may start for Houston.
  22. 1. WammyWeenie: I had one as a kid, but my idiot friend squeezed it and burst water all over during a sleep over. 2. From the Bills Grill cookbook featuring Roland Hooks chili (lol). Again, I had it as a kid, but lost it over the years. 3. NFL helmet metal lunchbox. I had one as a kid in 1979, but who knows where it is now: [Also, since when was Tampa Bay in the AFC? LOL.] 4. The "Kelly is God" banner hung at a Bills game:
  23. Cribs was NFL ROY in 1980 as well as a started for the Pro Bowl. Also, from wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Cribbs): "When the NFL played an abbreviated 9 game schedule due to the strike-shortened season in 1982, Cribbs was only able to play in 7 games but nonetheless led the league with 90.4 rushing yards per game." Pretty impressive. At the same time, according to wikipedia, it does seem as if he were a me-first guy: "Cribbs was not exactly happy in Buffalo, however, as he especially disliked playing in their infamous cold-weather home games. With one year left on his contract with the Bills, Cribbs signed a contract with the Birmingham Stallions of the USFL." and "Herschel Walker made the jump from college football to the USFL, becoming the league's highest paid player at $6 million over four years. This played a factor in Joe Cribbs walking out of his contract with the Birmingham Stallions. Cribbs had signed a deal in 1983 worth $2.6 million dollars to play for Birmingham, and still five years left on the contract. At the time of his walkout, Cribbs was leading the USFL in rushing." Still, I was too young at the time to know all the details.
  24. He had a cicada fly into his beard yesterday, lol:
