I have a problem with the Jim Kelly stat above. He got his first playoff win in his third year in the NFL (he started in 1986). And he only spent two years in the USFL, so he should have written "5th year" if he was going that route..

At the time, Buffalo was a graveyard for talented players. Look at all the players who didn't work out here, but had success elsewhere:
Peters, Watkins, Gillmore, Lynch, Woods, Whitner, Fitzpatrick, Byrd, Greer, Goodwin, etc.
Agreed. It would have been a better game with Buffalo.
Note: I said this too in 1989 when SF blew out Denver in the SB. The next year, Buffalo went on to the SB.
Moral: watch out NFL in 2020. #fearthebuffalo
