Patriots and Jets this Weekend - Hope They Lose.
chongli replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Baltimore is 0-6 all-time at New England during the regular season. I hope it goes to 0-7. I don't want a tough AFC rival winning. I don't consider New England a serious threat (hope I am not wrong with this). -
https://www.tampabay.com/sports/bucs/2022/09/21/cole-beasley-tampa-bay-bucs-tom-brady-nfl-injuries-breshad-perriman/ "Beasley didn’t have Brady’s phone number, so he said he hit up the Bucs quarterback on Instagram. “I’m going to be honest, I was hitting him up a lot. I slid into his (direct messages) for sure,” Beasley said. “I’m sure a lot of guys do that. It’s been awhile. He didn’t really say anything until recently. “I’ve been wanting to play with Brady for a long time, so it’s exciting for me. I’m excited for the opportunity and just ready to get back at it. You know, it’s a humbling experience kind of waiting this long. It’s the first time I’ve never been through a (training) camp. I’ve got a lot of catching up to do.”"

Maybe he was the best available player who knew our system?? We already have Duke on the PS. Not sure.
-
I mentioned in an earlier post he would get poached from our PS, and some people here laughed at that thought.
-
Yes, he would be placed on the suspended list for that one game and the Bills could replace him, just like someone is taking the pace of Andre Smith right now, who is under suspension.
-
Yeah, I haven't read the entire thread, but I heard of SiriusXM radio today speculation (don't know who it was) that Hart may be cut by McBeane, since they may not consider him a high character guy now. McD wants his players to be available when needed. They said he is not a main player, so they could afford to release him. I have no idea what will happen, but just am reporting. what I heard.

Yep, his would be nominated by the senior committee since this is his 25th season of retirement. His last year of regular eligibility was for this past class. https://www.profootballhof.com/news/2022/24-finalists-named-for-class-of-2023-in-seniors,-coach-contributor-categories/ "In separate elections announced Wednesday, the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Seniors Committee and its Coach/Contributor Committee have reduced their respective lists for consideration for the Class of 2023 to 12 Finalists each. In the Seniors category, the Finalists are: Ken Anderson, Maxie Baughan, Randy Gradishar, Chuck Howley, Cecil Isbell, Joe Klecko, Bob Kuechenberg, Eddie Meador, Tommy Nobis, Ken Riley, Sterling Sharpe and Everson Walls."

The Bills are a 4.5-point favorite, according to Tipico Sportsbook." The Dolphins are 2-0 and are a home dog, lol.

Yep, time to bring in the 2nd team! 😁 -
Yeah, agreed. Let's focus on Tennessee, and leave Miami for later. I really don't care about them right now.

Ironically, I dreamed after the Rams game that Epenesa was our 1st round draft pick last year that unexpectedly fell to us since Denver had the wrong info on him by mistake on their big board. Von Miller then decided to join the Bills after one season with Denver since he said he, along with Epenesa, would lead us to a SB win this year.

I see lots of trolls masquerading as Bills fans in this thread

When I read the title, I assumed the thread was made by filthybeast.

NFL fines Diggs and Jackson for Unsportsmanlike conduct
chongli replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
In related news, Jerry Hughes was fined for wearing pants too short: So was Matt Gay, the Rams kicker, for his attire vs. Buffalo last week: -
Damn! I hope you didn't tell your sister what happened. And I hope you wore gloves if you picked up her items. 😅 [And concerning the game again, the bad news was the strike began after that week's games concluded, and lasted eight weeks. The Bills started 2-0 but wound up 4-5 and out of the expanded playoffs I firmly bilieve the Bills would have had a magical season if it weren't for the strike. A writer in Sports Illustrated even predicted the Bills would win the Super Bowl after making the playoffs the previous two seasons. As it turned out, our AFC East rivals Miami and the Jets had terrific seasons. And that was the beginning of the Bills mid=80's downfall. Six straight seasons out of the playoffs, including two consecutvive 2-14 seasons followed by a 4-12 season. Buffalo had become the laughing stock of the league. Also, now that I checked, the game actually occurred on TNF. I could have sworn it was MNF. Either way, it was a school night for me.]

I haven't read the entire thread, so there might be other responses, but I believe it is three seasons: 1994 - 11-5 - Cleveland 2008 - 10-6 - New England (with Mass Cassel as QB) 2021 - 10-7 - New England Without Brady, as a head coach of Cleveland and New England, he has four winning seasons and five losing. -
Reminds me when I was young, and watching the Minnesota at Buffalo MNF game right before the strike in 1982 (or was it blacked out and I was listening to the game in the living room??) . I had to go to bed at around half time or the foutth quarter maybe, but I still stayed up and listened quietly to Van Miller's call on the radio in my room in the total dark, lol. The Bills started 2-0 and one one of the SB favorites that year. No way I was going to miss the game. As it turned out, Buffalo came from behind 22-13 in the fourth quarter to win it 23-22. It was definitely worth staying up for!
