  1. [Someone posted a thread here that he was on to Detroit after the win today since it was a short week (I think it was @HOUSE), but I couldn't find it to post this in. I didn't see a Lions thread, so I am hesitatingly making a new thread, which I don't like to do.] So I was looking at the Detroit forum in preparation for our game Thursday, and someone posted this today. Any idea what this means? Just curious. Anyway, the vibe over there is if they can win against Buffalo Thursday, they will start talking playoffs. They say Buffalo will be the best team they have faced so far. Also, some of them seem to be under the impression the Bills are 6-4, since CBS apparently flashed a graphic at games end of that that was the Bills record, lol. And if we win, we will be in first place in the division, at least temporarily. In three weeks, we can take it back for good though, when we face Miami.
  2. Time to draft DB's early in the draft next year! 😆
  3. Thanks again. I meant whenever Josh has faced Watson, it's always been a loss. Would've have been nice for him to finally beat him head-to-head, but he is still suspended for another week.
  4. Thanks for doing this. I think Josh is still 0-2 vs. DeShaun Watson though. Would've been nice to play against him today, but maybe not after this rough week for the Bills. Wait...Jackson just beat Carolina today too.
  5. Minnesota and the Jets looking like crap today. Their good games against the Bills was a fluke.
  6. For every team that plays us, it's their SB, so it makes sense.
  7. Odell is finicky. He won't be choosing the Giants now after the egg they laid today at home to a bad team. Dallas, SF, or KC is my bet.
  8. The Bills get a pass this week due to almost practice and all the disruptions. People need to be happy we won Let's focus now on Detroit. No complaining this week. No trolls allowed.
  9. The rumor is he will choose the winner of next week's Cowboys-Giants game, lol.
  10. Well the Colts are really playing their hearts out for their nee coach, a former player whom they deeply respect. And according to some on the Eagles board, their loss to the Commanders last week is the beginning if a long losing streak. So drama waiting to happen I guess?! Not sure, lol.
  11. Thanks guys! Duh on me. The only time I remember seeing him was smashing a tablet at Miami.
  12. So who's the guy to Josh's left in the first pic?
  13. Are you a Cleveland fan? What Florio said in the article was absolutely true. The Bills are at a disadvantage giving up a home-field game for a neutral site one that could have just as many, or more, Cleveland fans than Bills. Buffalo has had all kinds of distractions from travel and routine disruptions, as well as one missed practice and maybe a walk-through. Plus, Florio needed to make those comments to set the record straight, given how much the nation has been attacking Buffalo for this, even though it was not Buffalo's decision.
  14. https://www.al.com/sports/2022/11/aj-mccarron-chosen-in-xfl-quarterback-draft.html "Former Alabama All-American AJ McCarron is a member of the St. Louis Battlehawks after the XFL allocated its quarterback pool on Tuesday ahead of the spring football league’s draft on Wednesday." “A.J. brings us a championship pedigree,” Battlehawks coach Anthony Becht said. “He has seven years of NFL experience as a starting and backup quarterback. Unfortunately, A.J. battled through several injuries during that time which limited him from playing additional games. I feel like his time is now. A.J. will bring a very high football IQ, great leadership qualities and invaluable experience to the St. Louis Battlehawks team.” McCarron has not played since Aug. 21, 2021, when he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during an Atlanta Falcons’ NFL preseason game." Full XFL rosters, including Prince Emili for the San Antonio Brahmas: https://www.espn.com/xfl/story/_/id/35053464/xfl-draft-results-2023-full-rosters-eight-teams-vic-beasley-martavis-bryant-picks "The XFL says that 285 of its draft picks previously have been signed to an active NFL roster or a practice squad contract. Among those players: Vic Beasley, Martavis Bryant, Kalen Ballage, Cody Latimer and PJ Hall. There also were 69 players who played in the 2020 version of the XFL. The league will have a supplemental draft in January, and it plans to have 528 players -- 66 per team -- go to training camps ahead of the start of the season in February."
  15. Emili was listed, however, on the final roster for the XFL's San Antonio Brahmas yesterday: https://www.espn.com/xfl/story/_/id/35053464/xfl-draft-results-2023-full-rosters-eight-teams-vic-beasley-martavis-bryant-picks "San Antonio Brahmas roster Defensive front seven DL Justin Alexandre LB Riko Jeffers DL Denzel Chukwukelu DL Youhanna Ghaifan LB Owen Carney LB Omari Cobb DL Prince Emili LB Andrzej Hughes-Murray LB Joel Dublanko DL Drew Beesley Mike Tverdov"
  16. Detroit is also famous for Coney Dogs: I guess I would give it a shot:
  17. Another update: Detroit and Pittsburgh will now broadcast Cleveland at Buffalo instead of Philadelphia at Indianapolis.
  18. Those 5 have been head coaches for much longer than McD. A better question would be when did each of the above get their first SB wins?
