NFL Week 15 2022 (December 18) TV broadcast maps and schedule
chongli replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Two minor updates on the map for FOX: 1. Tampa has switched from DAL-JAX to PHI-CHI (probably in deference to the snowbirds in that area). 2. Jackson, MS has switched from ATL-NO to DAL-JAX I wish WUTV FOX in Buffalo and the other FOX affiliates in upstate NY would switch to New England at Las Vegas instead of Dallas at Jacksonville. This would hold the interest of Bills fans more. But it looks like they have made their decision, as updates usually occur by now. On a side note, on the CBS early game, while most of the nation (geographically-wise) gets KC at Houston, at least the UK has common sense and chose to broadcast Detroit at the Jets, which should be a good game the way both teams have been playing recently. ------- EDIT: Two Three minor updates on the map for the CBS early games: Quad Cities (area on Iowa-Illinois border) goes from DET-NYJ to KC-HOU. Greenville, MS goes from PIT-CAR to DET-NYJ. Champaign, IL has switched from DET-NYJ to KC-HOU. -
Bills may not play another regular season game on Sunday this year

Actually, I'd rather have the Pats needing to win to get in, and then have them lose to our second and third stringers, just like we did in 2004 to Pittsburgh in Week 17. The ultimate humiliation for them, forcing Belichick's retirement. Of course, if that were the case, that game wouldn't happen on a Saturday. -
What was the furthest you traveled to see the Bills play?

Uhhh...10 minutes by bike as a 10- or 11-year-old child when the Bills were holding a scrimmage at TC in Fredonia against Green Bay back in the early 80's. I lived in Dunkirk nearby, and went alone, as was normal for small kids to do back then. I got there early to get a good seat in the bleachers, but the sun was beating down directly on me. I only had a dollar or so in my pocket, which got me a small drink. After that, it became so unbearable that I biked back home before the game even started and drank an entire pitcher of Kool-Aid from the refrigerator. I decided to stay in the house then, lol. -

It's definitely possible it gets moved, but if this is for playoff seeding, it is unlikely. For example, if it is Buffalo or KC for the number one seed, the NFL wouldn't want to give Buffalo an advantage by having them play after the KC game, knowing they would either need to win if KC won or could rest their starters if KC lost. The same goes if New England is playing for the number seven seed or so. They wouldn't want to give New England an advantage. The only way I see it getting flexed is it for New England winning and they're in, no matter what the outcomes of the earlier games that day or Saturday. -
NFL Week 15 2022 (December 18) TV broadcast maps and schedule

Note: The MNF games for this week (Week 15) and also Week 17 are also on ABC nationally. So you don't have to have ESPN to get the Bills at Cincinnati game in two weeks. -

But FOX probably didn't want to go head-to-head with CBS with Cincy at Tampa Bay. Ironically, living out west, I do get New England at Las Vegas. I can't stad Dallas.

Agreed, way too may Rams and Buccaneers. However, the NFL can flex those games: https://www.nfl.com/schedules/flexible-scheduling-procedures "The NFL may also announce games moving to 4:05 p.m. ET and 4:25 p.m. ET." They chose to not flex them this year since Tampa Bay is still a big draw nationally. I am not so sure about the Rams though, lol.

If NE wins, they would be the 7th seed in the AFC.

Remember RB Raheem Blackshear? He is have a great game for Carolina
chongli replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
I didn't know this. I had hoped for Randy Moss, but Wikipedia says: "Moss is the cousin of former NFL wide receivers Santana Moss and Sinorice Moss, [26] and a second cousin of Minnesota Vikings cornerback Patrick Peterson". Still, not bad. -
All the pundits a few weeks ago were sayiing Baltimore was a lock for the division title with their easy schedule. Oh, how things have changed. If the Seahawks finish with a better record than the NFC South champion and miss the playoffs, they are going to be pissed. Maybe it is time for eight playoff teams and no bye in each conference, like @Big Turk advocated for. Why should Tampa Bay, or whoever, with a losing record, be allowed in the playoffs? If they lost to New Orleans last week like they should have, they would be 5-8 and Carolina would be in first place in the division at 5-8, LOL.
