  2. Thanks. Yeah, nothing wrong with being past middle-age (I am), but there is so much unconscious age-discrimination going on in society that I thought of that. It's a message that is enforced unknowingly through our media. I hope it's not the case with Frazier, but I suspect that it is a big part.
  3. I wonder if Frazier's age (63) has anything to do with teams' reluctance to hire him?
  4. FOX announcers have been finalized in the original post. For Arizona at Atlanta, Jason Benetti is calling his first ever game.
  5. Yeah, he knows. He was just expressing his distaste for that nickname. I don't like it either.
  6. Yep, and they will most likely get the FOX number 7 team of either Tim Brando or Dan Hellie with maybe color announcer Matt Millen or someone else. LOL. Well, he was a better WR, that is for sure. Wouldn't mind having now on the Bills again, lol!
  7. Partial update for FOX TV announcers added. Rest should be announced by tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.
  8. People need to stop responding to this nonsense. I know, I just did too, but I saw so many responses that I wanted to get this out. It's like reading a Jerry Sullivan article.
  9. The Battle of Los Angeles gets CBS's number 6 team. From SNF to this, lol! CBS: FOX Single: New Orleans at Philadelphia Joe Davis, Daryl Johnston and Pam Oliver Carolina at Tampa Bay Kevin Burkhardt, Greg Olsen and Erin Andrews Arizona at Atlanta Jason Benetti, Brady Quinn, Megan Olivi Cleveland at Washington Adam Amin, Mark Schlereth [announced on The Herd today, 12/26] Chicago at Detroit Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma, Shannon Spake New York Jet at Seattle (LATE) Chris Meyers, Robert Smith San Franciso at Las Vegas (LATE) Kevin Kugler, Mark Sanchez [per 49ers Game Notes] https://www.instagram.com/p/CmpazH3v-FA/?hl=en:
  10. You rock! Thanks for adding Montana and Tarkenton too. A little annoyed the Bills with Josh have only beaten 28 teams, while Jackson has 29 and Mahommes has 30 already. That stupid "Hail Murray" play. Grrrr. 😩 LOL. But the wins will come soon enough. A SB is the goal this year.
  11. Yep. [I forgot to include "one" in " "KC would need to lose of its final two games" in my original post].
  12. Yeah we need to beat Cincy. But if we lost, Cincy could still lose to Baltimore Week 18 and KC would need to lose one of its final two games. Then we would still be the number one seed (assuming we bet New England in the finale). [Typo]
  13. And last year Tennessee got the number 1 seed at just 12-5.
  14. Well then, duh on me! You are correct. (I still wouldn't count out Baltimore getting flexed two weeks in a row though. Baltimore-Cincy is a much better game than Jax-Tennessee.)
  15. They might even get the 5th, since if Baltimore loses to Cincy in Week 18, the Chargers and Ravens would be tied, but the Chargers would have the better conference record. Not necessarily. if Jax wins next week against Houston, and Tennessee loses to Dallas, Jax would clinch the divsion, since even with a loss in Week 18 to Tennessee, they would still have a better conference record (head to head and divsion record would be identical). Therefore, it still could be Baltimore and Cincy on SNF in Week 18 (or some other teams too). [Corrected by @MasterStrategist]
  16. It might have been protected by CBS. It is their number one lead game next week, with Nantz and Romo Ian Eagle and Charles Davis calling it. [EDIT: Nantz and Romo were actually assigned to the late game between Minnesota and GB.]
  17. https://nflcommunications.com/Pages/Week-17-Flex-Scheduling---Steelers-Ravens-Moves-to-Sunday-Night-Football.aspx The Week 17 Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens game on Sunday, January 1 will be played at 8:20 PM ET on NBC and the Rams-Chargers game will move to 4:25 PM ET on CBS, the NFL announced today.
  18. On the Bengals forum, one poster posted the pic below. They are all predicting 1- to 3-point wins for their team, with one poster predicting a 10-point win.
  19. Well, Cincinnati had their own plane mishap too. Hope they get stuck in NYC overnight.
  20. Harris taking a move from Josh's book.
