Leslie Frazier expected to be "in the mix" for Broncos HC job
chongli replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thanks. Yeah, nothing wrong with being past middle-age (I am), but there is so much unconscious age-discrimination going on in society that I thought of that. It's a message that is enforced unknowingly through our media. I hope it's not the case with Frazier, but I suspect that it is a big part. -

I wonder if Frazier's age (63) has anything to do with teams' reluctance to hire him? -
Yeah, he knows. He was just expressing his distaste for that nickname. I don't like it either.

Yep. [I forgot to include "one" in " "KC would need to lose of its final two games" in my original post].
-
Yeah we need to beat Cincy. But if we lost, Cincy could still lose to Baltimore Week 18 and KC would need to lose one of its final two games. Then we would still be the number one seed (assuming we bet New England in the finale). [Typo]
-
And last year Tennessee got the number 1 seed at just 12-5.
-
They might even get the 5th, since if Baltimore loses to Cincy in Week 18, the Chargers and Ravens would be tied, but the Chargers would have the better conference record. Not necessarily. if Jax wins next week against Houston, and Tennessee loses to Dallas, Jax would clinch the divsion, since even with a loss in Week 18 to Tennessee, they would still have a better conference record (head to head and divsion record would be identical). Therefore, it still could be Baltimore and Cincy on SNF in Week 18 (or some other teams too). [Corrected by @MasterStrategist]

On the Bengals forum, one poster posted the pic below. They are all predicting 1- to 3-point wins for their team, with one poster predicting a 10-point win. -
