  1. I think Tyrod picks a team where he has a chance to start. We could see him in Miami or maybe Jacksonville
  2. Here is what I thought about today while watching Baltimore vs. Cleveland. Based on the succcess of Baltimore’s offense, do you think a QB needy team will sign Tyrod Taylor and try to have him run a run-heavy, college style offense that takes advantage of his mobility and downplays throwing from the pocket? The NFL is a league copycats and whether it’s the read-option or wildcat, teams will copy whatever has been successful. It really makes me wonder if we’ll see this in 2019.
  3. San Diego over Baltimore
  4. I didn’t say anything hateful. I just don’t think he’s as good as some are hyping him up to be.
  5. Wow Jamal Adams is a helluva interview. In this clip below, he indirectly takes a shot at Mike McCagnon by saying that the Jets talent roster isn’t good enough and that they don’t have enough “dogs.” I’m not quite sure that means. He then says the Jets have $100M in cap room and that “it will come.” When a reporter asks if the Jets should be a playoff team when they get the “dogs,” his reaction is hilarious as he gestures and says “I can pray.” LOL. He ends by defending Todd Bowles and blames the issues on the players - again somewhat of a knock to McCagnon. https://www.newyorkjets.com/video/jamal-adams-everybody-is-together
  6. There have been many great DT’s in Bills history but I think that Kyle, perhaps, was one of the best when you take into account his success, production, longetivity and meaning to the Bills franchise. Take a look at these numbers: 13 years, 5 Pro Bowls, 48.5 sacks A few others worth considering for their time in Buffalo : Fred Smerlas 10 years, 1 All Pro, 4 Pro Bowls (16.5 sacks) Ted Washington 5 years, 3 Pro Bowls, (19.5 sacks) Pat Williams 8 years, 0 Pro Bowls, (12.5 sacks) Marcel Darius 7 years, 1 All Pro, 1 Pro Bowl (35.5 sacks) Jeff Wright: ok so this was a joke. But what are your thoughts? I say Kyle is the best
  7. I don’t get the love for Lamar
  8. Interesting....take this for what you will:
  9. Rex in Miami would actually be a lot of fun!
  10. Gotta be Baker. Completely turned around the culture in Cleveland
  11. Me either.... how long do you think he’ll last running the ball 20 times again. Their offense is a fad and won’t last. I think Baker is going to go down as one of the greats and is far and away the best in the class. The rest are way behind but I’d go: Mayfield Allen/Darnold (tie) Jackson Rosen Same. He is going to have an awesome career
  12. I don’t think there’s anyway he gets fired. Only way he’s not the DC, is if he leaves for a HC job
  13. Bring Koetter to Buffalo as QB coach
  14. Before or after the draft?
  15. I have a good friend from MN. Huge Viking fan. Yes the defense slipped a bit but overall was good enough. The biggest problem was the offensive line. They were atrocious. Could generate no running game which put more pressure on the passing game. Problem was Cousins was terrorized back there, like we saw in Buffalo. Still he threw for 30 TD’s. He tells me, they’ll be fine once they improve the line
  16. There is no possible way that he gets the Dolphins job. I would love it though because it would make the games all the more fun. I wonder if Rob, Dennis Thurman, and Tony Sprano Jr are on his list! LOL Not looking so good for the other Miami coach either
  17. I think so too. I think his techniques would really motivate college players and he probably would hell of a recruiter.
  18. I hope this happens, Rex at a major college program like Miami would be hilarious! https://nypost.com/2018/12/30/rex-ryan-has-backers-to-be-next-coach-at-miami/
  19. Thats why you saw it. The game was on in the Syracuse market which is outside the blackout radius. I remember some friends who would drive down to watch the blacked out games at his brother’s place in DeWitt. It was blacked out in Buffalo, which is why I had to scramble to find a bar that was showing it.
  20. Thank you. I knew it definitely was blacked out because I remember frantically trying to find a hookup that would show the game. Nope... it definitely was blacked out. You either had a satellite dish that could get the Syracuse broadcast or the broadcast on another station So was this playoff game in 96
  21. Fair enough, I just wouldn’t say either of them were “ruined” by any means. I’m sure there are better examples of QB’s who have achieved less
  22. You know, I was just thinking about this. They did pull the plug awfully fast on Todd. He was a fairly high draft pick and had 2 years sitting on the bench under Kelly. When he started in 1997, he certainly wasn’t great but his numbers were essentially on par with most rookie QB’s. He led the Bills to a 5-8 record in 13 games which wasn’t great but can hardly be considered a disaster Despite this, the same team that drafted him 2nd overall gave up on him after just 13 games as starter. They went all out to secure their “franchise” QB in Rob Johnson and even signed a Plan B/backup in Doug Flutie. Collins probably deserved a little more time, or at least the opportunity to compete in 1998. Again, I’m not saying he was a great QB but he was essentially replaced after just 13 games. Maybe they thought he should have been further along in his 3rd year. I don’t know Watch some of these passes, he doesn’t seem to be too bad
  23. I know what you mean. I do know that the animated one in dreadlocks who did a lot of talking is Lafayette Pitts. He’s an entertaining guy
