Multiple reports have speculated on the possibility of Rex Ryan A.) either coaching in Miami or B.) becoming DC of The Jets Share your hot take on Rex’s potential return to coaching! To me, I don’t think it happens. I think this is Rex’s “super agent” Jimmy Sexton trying to make it look like he’s in demand. Kind of like what he did with another former ex Bills coach Doug Marrone in 2015. But I would absolutely love this idea for a few reasons: 1.) I don’t think Rex is a great coach. His overall “smash mouth football” philosophy seems to be passe and I think he needs unique personnel to run his complex defense. I think better football kinda give the Bills a harder time 2X a year. 2.) Rex is entertaining as hell. He’s like the fat kid bully in middle school (All talk, no action) who has mellowed out in his later years. His delusions of grandeur and comedy are a lot of fun. He makes the NFL more entertaining 3.) I will love to see the Bills beat him and to read the reactions of fans when things eventually go awry. Agaib, I don’t think any sane owner would bring Rex and his “clown show” but a part of me is really hoping there is.

Compare the resumes between some of the analysts on ESPN and then compare Turner’s. -

You know my opinion on Turner. Not impressed. Try harder Butler is not a bad corner though. I can agree Gilmore is better -

Ok well that’s a fair point. Just like line calls, we don’t exactly know who to attribute a sack to. Ugh -

Quote seems to read to me that Gilmore didn’t have the best year in 2016 - the crux of my argument -

Also did not have a great rookie year, but I can agree with the rest. -

Here what Rex said, and this basically confirms MY opinion. It goes back to what I originally had said - Gilmore was beat more in 2016 than you would expect from a CB of his caliber. Like I said. Smoking guy. Try harder. Even more eye-opening was that coach Ryan confirmed that Stephon blew the coverage. “Stephon Gilmore needs to get back to where he was in training camp. It hasn’t been all bad, but clearly had some struggles.” Yes I played high school football there. And I also blog. That’s how I know Stephon Gilmore has a stellar year in 2016. He never got beat. It was always someone else’s fault. -
Who is the 2019 MVP of The Buffalo Bills?

Nah...he loses point for his bad final games. If he’s hurt he shouldn’t be on the field. He hit the crossbar on a 43 yard FG -

The article is authored by Erik Turner. No offense, but he’s a gloried fan with experience as a high school football player who blogs. Zero experience with college or NFL defenses. Nothing wrong with that but his opinion is far from factual. His opinion on what he thinks happened is no more arbitrary than mine, or your opinion for that matter. Next time, try harder to find your smoking gun -

It wasn’t his fault, just like how getting beat by Robert Foster on the go route wasn’t his fault either. Gotcha. Safety must have lost coverage -

Just like me, we have no way of knowing the call. “Reading the tea leaves” is compelling evidence. But to me it looked like he was burned and this happened more times than it should have in Buffalo Quite possibly Buddy’s best pick. -

Were you a defensive coach on the Bills that year? Didn’t look like it. Looked like he was beat and gave up This probably makes more sense than the majority of the arguments here. Thanks for sharing -

Still not sold based on one comment during a conference. Belichick talks up the Bills and opponents all the time. Do you think he really believes it? Again, I’m not saying that’s the case but observing body language is the exact same thing as interpreting a quote. It’s all an inference based on information -

It’s his perception but he’s not entirely wrong. I would say that he *appeared* to not love the game and didn’t want to be in Buffalo. Watch his body language both on an off the field and his interviews. He never seemed to be enthusiastic about playing for the team. Go watch the Hogan play I posted where he was torched and it looked like he was blaming other. There were several moments like that. To interpret this as being aloof and not interested in the team, may not be correctly, but it’s a valid observation ...Bills fans who love to rewrite history about former players disagree -

Damn right - most people can see my point. There far too many Chris Hogan plays when he was on the Bills. Of course, some Bills fans love to rewrite history about former players -

Got a good one for you. Watch Chris Hogan BURN Gilmore! He is clearly best for a huge play and rather than take responsibility, he looks around at his teammates as to say “not my fault, bro.” He did this a lot towards the beginning of last season too with The Patriots. There were big moments in games, where Gilmore did not delivers. That’s why I stand by my claim - good but not one of the best. go to 1:17. You’ll see it: https://youtu.be/j698yPWaWQY -

“Good cbs often don’t make big plays but they aren’t target” HUH?!?!?!? English?!? I stand by my claim.....Very good CB, not one of the Top 5 best. At least not when he was in Buffalo. -

True but the best cornerbacks make big plays in big moments. I felt Gilmore didn’t really step up when you needed him to. -
Who is the 2019 MVP of The Buffalo Bills?

There were too many times were Tremaine was out of position or blown up on the run. He’s a big reason when the defense was cashed up the middle -

Gilmore also gets beat, as he did by Robert Foster a few weeks ago. I do think that playing for New England definitely raises his profile. I don’t know if it was insane. There were several games - in particular in 2015 - where he was beat by middling recievers. He was above average most of the time but he had his moments, not unlike Tre White for a few weeks this season -

Defensive MVP for sure. I still think Allen had a bigger impact overall. McDermott was a player
