  1. Well, lol, who exactly has Allen taken the job from! I see your points, but I'm still not sold on Allen as the future franchise QB. And I guess we need to stop, this is a thread for the other Josh.
  2. That's what I was told
  3. I put Jackson on my list because I didn't think he had any business being drafted in the 1st round yet has taken Flacco's job and is 4-1 as a starter.
  4. Can't say I've never been accused of expecting too much out of others. This is supposed to be a Rosen thread, so...
  5. But all rookie QB's go through that correct? Some play better than others? Watson, Mayfield, Jackson etc.
  6. Yes, if he is surrounded with more talent, I expect more of everything from him. Not sure I'd want to go as far as expecting playoff's, but I want to see a higher completion %, more passes, more yards, better TD:INT ratio, and ofc more wins. I expect a franchise QB.
  7. It works well for banning the wannabe MODS or fandom card revokers. Pure football arguments are all good. Maybe my expectations for a rookie are too high, but I'll tell you, my expectations are only going to go up next season especially if they do indeed "take out the trash".
  8. I feel that any willing self impairment is self destructive. If you need to drink to "loosen up" or to "have fun", you have a problem IMO.
  9. Nah, has nothing to do with feelings, if it's actual football talk and not hall monitoring, we're good.
  10. Oh goodie, I can't wait for that!
  11. If they use the same tape storage methods as NASA, it's as good as gone
  12. Maybe in the future we will have an AGI that can take all the data and spit out something that is irrefutable. Right after AGI solves all the other worlds problems ofc
  13. There is an objectivity/bias issue with that method that can skew the results in any direction one wants to, especially pertaining to dropped balls.
  14. Yet they control the narrative of society, pretty dangerous.
  15. I'm neither very old or very young, however I don't know who either women is. I'm very selective with the entertainment I consume.
  16. There are only two games left this season, we'll see if he leaves an impression on me that I can carry all offseason. As of now, no, I'm still not there.
  17. Another one who didn't take physics in school. Thanks for raising your hand.
  18. Yeah, good point. He was pretty incredible in the era he played, and if you weigh the numbers, he likely does come out as the GOAT. However, no SB wins so he's not going to get that kind of credit in the media.
  19. I like the way he runs, he's a sledge hammer.
  20. Very well put, nice to see some reasonable fans who can discuss this. Sports and emotion do go hand in hand, but too much emotion leads to blind devotion, which is not healthy in any situation. Allen is a hot button issue, and I'm not sure that will ever change!
  21. My god, that list, it's all Drew Brees!
  22. I never thought Newton could handle the game mentally, he's a terrible sportsman to boot.
  23. Foster is up for rookie of the week: http://www.nfl.com/voting/rookies/2018/reg/15#playerId:0ap3000001000296
  24. I am finding out that this is a tough place to find intellectual conversation. The "Bills Fans" on these forums appear to be very isolated and tribal, not like most fans you find out there in real life.
